CHAPTER 50: THE FIRST STEP

Jhon pours himself a coffee and while sweetening it a little, he looks at Alice sitting in one of the dining rooms, approaches her, asks permission to sit down, to which she nods with a smile.

It is then that, Jhon, summons the courage to invite Alice to dinner with him.

Alice, looks at him somewhat serious, her smile freezes for a moment until it disappears, with a little seriousness, she claims to have an unfinished relationship, so, with subtlety, she declines for this time.

Jhon, somewhat upset, given that, they have not been able to talk much since the incident.

Alice assures him that she has nothing to do with him.

It's just that, she wants to be sure she's ready to start over.

He can only tell him that, John seems to him a very interesting person.

Alice draws a smile on her lips, still damp from coffee.

Jhon, he finds the image delicious, feels a moment of excitement.

He would like to steal a kiss from her, but he worries that Alice will be offended and distance herself from him.

In his cubicle, Jhon has taken his cup of coffee, seeing it smoking, he remembers for a moment Alice's lips.

Reflects.

To think that, just seeing Alice left him very excited, he could not understand the reason, he only knew that, he wanted to spend some time with her.
