Christmas Wedding

I walked on the red carpet carrying my bag as the reporters flash their blinding lights all over my body. I walked to the entrance and a man stopped me. I think he is the one asking for an invitation card.

"Miss, what’s your name, or may I see your invitation card?" he inquired, stretching his hand towards me. I opened my mouth to say something. If I say anything, he wouldn’t believe me, I reached into my bag and handed him our company business card.

"Oh, you are the photographer." He beamed and move out of my way.

                                             Author’s POV

The place was decorated with a tree with personalized ornaments that had 25 written on them, and Raymond weds Sofia, Red and white combinations of roses, lilies, and orchids were used to decorate the hall; fresh green wreaths, balloons, and festive lights that create a warm atmosphere, the tables were decorated with small, live trees, with powder snow, which highlighted the white tablecloths...

Sofia matched in with her wedding dress, which was pure white, and reminiscent of snow. The corset is embellished with a glimmering element. It was magically made. She was wearing red shoes with the impression of glamour. The bridesmaids were wearing red dresses.

Raymond stood at the altar, waiting for his bride, with a solemn expression on his face. He was glaring at her. As Sofia walked down the aisle with the bridesmaids behind her holding her dress.

And the music, "Here comes the bride." was playing in the background.

I  dropped my bag at a table and took my camera, I walked to the front to take a picture of the bride. The wedding dress was magnificent. Standing here, in the ballroom of the Kingston’s, I still can’t believe I agreed to do this, I should have told my boss no. trying to act like a professional photographer to cover the annual billionaire’s Christmas wedding.

I am all dressed up in a sparkling silver floor-length ball gown with a slit up the side that’s held up by a diamond necklace, and my chestnut-brown hair is pulled into an elaborate updo with a few elegant curls tumbling around my face. I just don’t fit in here. All the other guests are tanned and sparkly and know how to look good. It doesn’t matter that some of them are chinless from centuries of inbreeding. The sooner I can leave, the better. I don’t like fancy parties. I don’t even like getting dressed up. Allowing the professional make-up artist to create a personalized look for me that perfectly complimented my features and outfit required oceans of patience I didn't realize I possessed.

                                                          Author’s POV

Sofia arrived at the altar, smiling brightly at Raymond, who didn’t return the smile. The priest walked to them.

"Do you Raymond Kingston take…….. the big chandelier that was hanging above their heads fell at a great speed and Raymond ran and saved himself, leaving Sofia who wobbled and......
