Chapter 319: Child's father

"Yes, isn’t he the child’s father?" the nurse replied.

Daisy narrowed her eyes at Raymond as the nurse walked away.

"So you lied to them about Ryan being your son?" she asked clenching her fists.

"Yes, so they will be fast with the treatment. Why are you getting all worked up? It’s not like I am really the child’s father." He snarled.

"No..no you aren’t." she stuttered with sweat forming on her forehead. Raymond wanted to speak when he saw Sofia walking towards them with Mr Josh.

"Sofia, wait up! What are you doing here?" Mr Josh asked, running after Sofia, who was walking majestically towards them.

"What is this slut doing here?" Daisy muttered through clenched teeth.

Sofia walked over to them and stood in front of Raymond.

"How did you know I was here? Are you a stalker?" Raymond asked coldly.

"I have my ways." Sofia replied.

"I have been calling you for a long time, but you refused to pick up my call." Sofia added.

"That’s because I lost my phone." Raymond replied. Sofia held his hand, staring into his eyes.

"Let's go home." Sofia mumbled. Raymond pulled his hand from her grip and put his hand on her shoulder. He looked at her from top to bottom.

"Wait a minute, didn’t you have an electric shock?" Raymond inquired.

"I had, but I am much better now." Sofia replied, smiling nervously.

"Mr Josh, take her home." Raymond declared, staring at Mr Josh, who was waiting for Richard to come.

"She can go home by herself." Mr Josh replied.

"I knew before I asked you to do that," Raymond stated in a rumbling tone.

"Let's go." Mr Josh said, dragging Sofia by the hand.

"I will be waiting for you at home in your room!!" Sofia yelled as Mr Josh dragged her away.

"Why don’t you go with them?" Daisy inquired.

"I can’t go with them. I also want to stay here and watch Ryan." Raymond replied.

"But it’s late, it’s really cold in here." Daisy whined.

"I will manage." Raymond said, looking around for an empty chair, he spotted a bench close to Mrs Louis and Gwen and walked over to it. He sat there and crossed his legs.

Daisy sighed. She opened the room Ryan was in and looked inside. She saw him lying on the bed with his head bandaged. A tear escaped from her eyes. She shut the door back immediately as someone touched her on the shoulder.

"Excuse me, miss." A nurse stated and entered the room. Daisy walked over to Raymond.

"It is late. What is that nurse still doing in his room?" she asked flatly. He smirked.

"He is under VIP treatment." Raymond stated, pointing a signboard at the door. She turned back and saw it. She gasped and looked at him.

"I didn’t notice." She muttered.

"That’s because your head is always down. Come sit next to me." Raymond said, tapping his side.

Daisy rolled her eyes and sat next to him. She had no choice.
