Chapter 207: shocked

The man watched as they carried the both of them into the car. As he stood there. Police and the press arrived at the scene of the crime, taking pictures and asking people around who saw their faces.

At the mansion.

Sofia entered Raymond’s room looking for him when she spotted Daisy on the bed. She spotted a glass of water on top of the drawer, so she acquired it and splashed water on Daisy’s face. Daisy groaned as she wiped the water off her face.

Her eyes were red and puffy as she stared at Sofia. Sofia weirdly stared at her as Daisy rose from the bed and used the blanket to cover her chest immediately.

Sofia's expression changed. She walked closer to Daisy and looked at her face.

"Were you crying?" Sofia asked curiously. Daisy slapped her hand off her face and got down from the bed, walking into the bathroom.

"I am talking to you!!" Sofia yelled, but she ignored her as she made her way into the bathroom.

Sofia looked around the room and saw Raymond’s torn shirt all over the place.

"What happened here?" she muttered, asking no one in particular as she sauntered out of the room.

Daisy combed her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. There were hickeys all over her neck, her hair was messy.

She started sobbing as she switched on the tap and took water in her hands, using it to wash her face.

"How could he do such a thing to me?." She mumbled while crying continuously as her tears fell into the sink.

"What have I done to deserve this treatment from you, Raymond?" she screamed as she smashed her fist into the mirror. The mirror shattered into a million pieces as it landed on the floor. Her hand was bleeding as she looked at it with pain and agony.

"I must get out of this hell hole." She muttered as she looked at her naked body in the mirror.

She switched on the shower as the water slid down her body. The water washed away her tears as she continued crying.

She finished bathing and rushed out of the bathroom. She locked the main door and opened the wardrobe. She took a black dress and put it on.

She wanted to pack all the clothes in the wardrobe.

"No, I can’t take anything he will know that I have run away." She said under her breath. She grunted as she sighted a piece of paper that was covered with the duvet. She narrowed her eyes on the paper as she took it and looked at it. She opened her eyes wide in surprise as she saw the amount that was written on the cheque. The money was issued to her. she opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"What is wrong with him? He did such a terrible thing to me and is now giving me money. I will take it and throw it in his face." She declared with a frown and grabbed the cheque.
