Chapter 182: What's in the box?

"Yes, that's a great idea." Sofia commented.

"It is, but you need to act fast and look for a way to get Raymond to sleep with you, I can't wait to see my grandchild." Mrs Kingston said, making Sofia blush. 

"He hasn't even shown interest in me yet." She whined.

"I don't care, I will mail a drug to you, I want you to drug him. put it in his food, coffee, or anything." Mrs Kingston stated

"Okay, mum, but how do I get Daisy out of the picture?"

"You lock her in the bathroom or something," she stated.

Sofia started hearing footsteps heading her way.

"I have to go now, I think someone is coming." Sofia whispered and hung up. She pushed the phone back under the pillow. As the door flew open, it was Richard.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, raising his voice.

She got up from the bed immediately.

"I-I." She stuttered, avoiding his gaze.

"You what! Cat got your tongue?" He asked, walking towards her.

She started bitting her fingers nervously. She had no lie to tell as she quickly ran out of the room.

Richard looked around the room to see if something was missing and collapsed on the bed.

Daisy walked to the kitchen and saw Elena cooking.

"What are you cooking?" Daisy asked, standing beside her.

"I am making pasta." She muttered 

"It's been a while since I ate that, what can I help you with?" Daisy asked, staring at her.

"You can help me chop the pepper." She replied.

"Okay." Daisy muttered as she took the bowl of pepper and started washing it in the sink.

After cooking for hours, they both carried the food out of the kitchen and started arranging it on the dining table when they heard the sound of the doorbell.

"Go get the door," Elena stated.

Daisy dropped the food and walked to the door. She opened it and saw a delivery guy.

"How may I help you?" She asked 

"I have a package for Miss Sofia." He said as he handed Daisy a small box.

"What's inside?" Daisy asked, staring at him.

"How am I supposed to know we are not allowed to invade the customers' privacy?" He replied.

"Where is Miss Sofia so she can sign?" She stated

"I will sign for her." Daisy said as he handed her a pen.

Sofia walked over to them and quickly snatched the box from Daisy as she finished signing.

"I will take my leave now." The man stated as he made his way out of the house.

Daisy turned to look at Sofia, who was already five feet away from her. 

"Where do you think you are going?" Daisy asked, running towards Sofia.

Daisy stood in front of her, blocking her path.

"What is in the box?" Daisy asked, putting her hand on her waist.

"It's none of your business." Sofia said rudely.

"Because you don't want to cook, you have secretly ordered some food for yourself, so you can eat alone." Daisy said as she laid her hand on the box and started dragging it with Sofia.
