Chapter 156: Protective husband 1

"Boss, you are bleeding." He remarked.

"Yes, but it’s a minor injury." He assured.

"No it’s not I will go and get you the first aid kit." Mr Josh stated, and ran away.

Raymond sat on the couch and put his hand away from the couch. As he started hearing footsteps.  He looked up and saw Daisy and two bodyguards walking into the house. They were supporting her because she was unconscious.

Raymond quickly ran to them and carried Daisy from their hands. He didn’t care that his hand was still bleeding.

"You two come with me." He said to the bodyguards as he ran up the stairs with Daisy.

He entered his room and put her on the bed. He looked at the bodyguards.

"You call the family doctor." He stated, and the bodyguard took his phone and walked to the other side of the room.

"How did you find her?" he inquired flatly.

The bodyguard looked down.

"We just saw her outside the mansion, lying on the ground." He stated.

"How is that possible?" Raymond inquired.

"I don’t know, sir." He remarked.

"Are you lying to me!!" Raymond scolded raising his voice.

"No-no, sir." He stuttered. Raymond glared at him and got up from the bed.

"Keep an eye on her until the doctor comes." Raymond declared and walked out of the room. He was furious. 

As Mr Josh walked towards him with the first aid kit.

"I am okay, it will heal by itself my injuries don’t last that long." Raymond assured.

"That shows that you have enough vitamin E in your body." Mr Josh added. Raymond put his hand in the first aid box and took out a bandage. He used it to wrap his hand and started walking to the CCTV room.

Mr Josh held the box as he stared at him.

"Where are you going, sir?" he asked bluntly.

"To the CCTV room." Raymond stated, and Mr Josh ran after him.

"Sir, they have changed the room." Mr Josh stated.

"Why?"

"I don’t know, but it’s in the basement now." Mr Josh stated.

"Let’s go there, I will leave no stone unturned till I know what happened to Daisy. Just because she isn’t my real wife doesn’t mean I will let them maltreat her." He stated, and they both walked to a room and started climbing up a ladder to the basement.

Raymond climbed into the basement and switched on the touch of the phone as Mr Josh entered.

He saw a bodyguard sleeping on a chair close to the CCTV.

He hit him on the head, and he woke up and opened his eyes wide as he saw Raymond.

"Seize him." Raymond commanded, and Mr Josh held him.

Raymond sat down on the chair and started operating the computer. He went to the front of the mansion yesterday and saw when Daisy was walking into the mansion. She was making a call. He wanted to listen to her conversation. But he lowered the volume because he doesn’t want to invade her privacy.
