Chapter 153: scheming

Daisy shoved her phone in her bag as they approached her.

"Who were you talking to?" Sofia inquired.

"It's none of your business." Daisy scoffed.

"This bitch is getting on my nerves." 👿 Sofia stated, burning with fury.

"That's not important," Mrs Kingston stated. Before Daisy could blink, two bodyguards were already behind her. They grabbed her two hands and folded them behind her back..

"What are you people trying to do?" She asked, glaring at them as she began swaying her heads in an attempt to break free.

Sofia walked to her and held her face.

"Stop struggling. We are just keeping you hostage for a while." She muttered.

"Why let me go!!" She continued struggling and stepped on the foot of one of the bodyguards.

But they still refused to let her go.

"Stop shouting." Mrs Kingston stated and slapped her hard across the face. Daisy spat on the floor and the bodyguards carried her away.

"Let's begin." Mrs kingston stated, and they both walked into the house.

They both walked to the dining table as maids started arranging different cuisines on the table.

"Go and call Raymond." Mrs kingston declared, talking to a maid, she bowed slightly and walked away.

Mr Kingston and Richard walked into the house smiling.

"You guys came at the right time, we just wanted to eat." Mrs Kingston stated.

"Without me?" Mr Kingston inquired.

"I was just about to call you, come have a seat." Mrs Kingston beamed and they all settled down at the dining table.

Richard picked up a spoon from the table and was about to dig into his food when his spoon landed on the cover of the plate. He looked up.

"What's wrong, mum?" 

"Wait for the Raymond, will you?" She stated.

He folded his hand and glared at her.

Raymond walked down the stairs to them. He sat next to Richard. 

They all started eating, but Raymond didn't eat. He was scanning the place looking for Daisy..

"Come here." He stated talking to a maid.

"Have you seen my wife?" He inquired.

"No sir, she hasn't come home since the morning." She replied bluntly.

"Hmm, you can go." He dismissed her.

"She told me to tell you that she would be a little late tonight." Sofia stated, avoiding his gaze.

"Why didn't she call me? She took the initiative to talk to you." Raymond stated and twisted his mouth. For some reason, he didn't believe a word that Sofia was saying.

He started eating with the rest of the family, who were busy eating.

They all finished eating, Raymond walked to the balcony of the house, looking down at the gate.

Sofia ran to Mrs Kingston, and they both started whispering. Mrs Kingston handed her a short, seductive dress.

Raymond turned back. He didn't see anyone. He was sure he was hearing voices. He sighed and walked to his room.

Sofia walked to her room and started wearing the dress. She took a mask from her drawer and put it on. She looked at herself in the mirror.

"It's up to you now." She muttered, and a creepy smile curved on her lips.
