Chapter 133: Billionaire's girl

She halted behind a tree close to Chris's house and started panting. She looked sideways, so she couldn’t see the men again. She sighed and ran into Chris's house. The door was not locked.

"Why are you in such a hurry that you can't even knock?" Chris asked, walking towards her.

"I wanted to come and see you when two men were chasing me." She muttered.

"Why are you coming here at this time?"

"I wanted to tell you something."

"Alright shoot." He stated, putting his hand on her waist.

"How I miss you." He muttered, smiling widely at her.

"The thing is…." She muttered, avoiding his gaze.

"Speak up, you are not the type that gets shy." He stated.

"From tomorrow I will have to pretend to be the wife of a billionaire." She mumbled.

"What!!" he yelled with his mouth hanging loosely and let go of her waist.

"What about me? Are you here to tell me that you want to break up with me?" He asked, glaring at her.

"No, that is not what I meant, I wanted to tell you that I am doing it for a period of time and I will get paid." She beamed.

"Paid, like how much?" he inquired, and a smile curved on his face.

"80 million dollars."

"Are you for real?" he asked.

"Hell yea." She replied.

She squatted and carried her, spinning her in the air.

"That’s the life, men." He squealed.

"Chris put me down, I feel dizzy." She pleaded and he put her down. She wanted to fall, and he supported her.

"Have you agreed to do it? He asked bluntly. She shook her head negatively. He hit her lightly on the head.

"You are so slow, don’t you want to get rich." He whined.

"I want to, but not without your consent."

"I give you my consent now, do it and I will take 50 percent of the money." He beamed. She opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"Why 50 percent? I was planning to save, and we will use the money to get married."She whined.

"Married." He smirked.

"What do you mean, married? Aren’t we going to get married?" she inquired, looking keenly at him.

"We will get married." He muttered, rolling his eyes.

"All you need to do is just be a billionaire girl." He mumbled, removing a strand of her hair from her face.

"Why do I feel like you want me to seduce him?"

"That’s not what I meant. Anyway, are you going home? I was hoping we could celebrate." He beamed and kissed her lightly on the lips.

"I wanted to go home and tell my mother because he would be coming to pick me up at home tomorrow." She muttered.

"Alright, come on, let’s go I will walk you home." He said and took his jacket from the couch and put it on. He put his hand around her shoulder and started leading her out of the house.

He closed the door and started walking her down the street. He held her hand tightly and they started swinging their hands in the air.
