The Sports Festival Part One

"Akuma you're back!" Izuku said as Akuma walked into the locker room with his hood on and the other students turned to look at him, "How'd your training go?"

"You'll have to see." Akuma said with a smile as he changed into the gym uniform and shortly afterwards the buzzer for them to get ready rang. They stood in front of the large door and Present Mic explained that the first stage was a race.

"Go!" Present Mic yelled and Todoroki immediately covered the area in ice as he sprinted ahead. Akuma pulled his arm back as an energy ball formed in it and he threw it in front of Todoroki, destroying the ice and causing dust to fly around Todoroki. Akuma sped past him as Bakugou quickly lessened the distance to Todoroki and the two began to run faster to keep up with Akuma.

"This will slow you down!" Todoroki yelled as he froze the giant robots in front of Akuma and the fell towards him but Akuma launched off of the ground and crashed through them before landing with a roll. Todoroki and Bakugou ran past him and he smiled before the three fought for first. Akuma jumped as they reached the large pit with ropes and landed on the other side with a running start.

"Like you're going to lose me that easily!" Bakugou yelled at him as he and Todoroki quickly got across the gap and their battle for first began again. Akuma's eyes widened when he heard a click under his foot and the sudden explosion caught him off guard, sending him tumbling backwards. He slid to his feet as Todorki and Bakugou were easily avoiding the mines and Akuma lowered his body before kicking off of the ground with enough force to let him glide over the mines. Akuma watched as they got closer to this finish Izuku landed on Todoroki and Bakugou's shoulders and he saw him slam a plate of metal from the robots, hitting the mines in front of the two and using the explosive force to reach the finish before them. With a sudden burst of speed Akuma shot past them and managed to steal second as he landed right behind Izuku.

"You alright Midoriya?" Akuma asked as he helped Izuku off of the ground and he gave him a thumbs up, "You managed to beat me in the first event."

"I won't lose." Izuku told him with determination in his eyes and Akuma smiled at the green hatred teen, "I'm surprised you didn't transform."

"It would be a waste of energy to use it so soon." Akuma said as the other students began to reach the finish and the crowd went wild when the screen focused on the two of them, "I don't think they were expecting any of the first years to win."

"All of you prepare for the next challenge! The Cavalry Battle!" Midnight announced as the screen changed again, "Every student will have a head band representing the amount of points they have! Even if your headband is stolen you can still score by regaining or stealing another teams! You may fully use your quirks but if any of you try to purposely knock another team down im going to slap you!"

"Uh Midoriya?" Akuma said as he looked at the amount of points Izuku got for getting first in the race and he saw how worried Izuku looked, "How about we team up?"

"Yeah let's work together!" Uraraka yelled as she jogged over to them and they both looked surprised, "It'll be better if you work with people you know! Not to mention of it's the three of us we can't lose!"

"Don't forget about me!" Mei yelled as she seemed to appear next to Akuma with a giant smile as she dropped a case of her inventions at Izuku's feet, "I made plenty of babies for the festival while we were away!"

"Alright." Izuku said as he huddled closer to them, "Akuma you're going to be our defense. Uraraka you can make sure that I remain light enough for the three of you to carry me with no extra effort. Hatsume you support us with whatever inventions you choose."

"Everyone get ready for the U.A. battle royale!" Present Mic yelled as the teams got setup, "Which team will come out on top?!"

"The three of you hold on tightly." Akuma ordered them as the match started and several teams charged for them. When he felt their grips get stronger he unleashed a wave of his aura and pushed several of the teams away.

"Nice job!" Izuku told him as Todoroki stopped im front of them and the teams stared each other down.

"I'll be taking that now." Todoroki told them with a cold look and Akuma began to laugh.

"As long as he's protected by me then nobody is getting anywhere near him!" Akuma yelled as he kicked off of the ground and they dodged Mineta's team. Kaminari suddenly released an explosion of electricity that Akuma barely blocked with an energy shield.

"Nice job Akuma!" Izuku yelled while Akuma backtracked away from Todoroki's team and Todoroki force the ground around them to stop the other teams from getting any closer, "Todoroki is our biggest risk right now."

"No it's Kaminari." Akuma told them as he stared them the Todoroki's left side so he couldn't freeze them, "I can avoid the ice but if Kaminari keeps attacking then I'm not sure if I can defend us without expending a lot of energy. Mei do you have anything that'll help?!"

"Let the electricity hit us." Mei told him with a serious tone he had never heard from her, "Trust me!"

"Uraraka make us float when Kaminari attacks!" Izuku yelled when Todoroki's team came at them with surprising speed as Ida used his boosters at their max strength.

"No way!" Akuma yelled as he kicked the ground hard as Uraraka made them lighter and they launched above Todoroki. Izuku saw Bakugou flying straight for them as they continued to float upwards and Akuma knew he didn't have time to prevent it.

"Time's up!" Present Mic yelled and they let out a sigh of relief as they landed on the ground and Akuma looked at the scoreboard with a smile.

"We did it!" Mei yelled as she let go of them to raise her hands and they collapsed to the ground from the sudden imbalance, "My bad!"

"I'm glad you were on my side Akuma." Izuku said with a smile as they stood up and he noticed that Akuma was breathing heavy, "You alright?"

"Yeah I'm just not used to moving that fast with so much weight." Akuma said with a laugh before Mei hit him in the head and even Todoroki was surprised by Akuma nearly hitting the ground.

"Who are you calling heavy?!" Mei asked him as he stood up and rubbed the spot she hit while nervously laughing. Izuku and Uraraka couldn't help but laugh at the exchange and they watched as everyone walked out of the stadium until the next battle started.
