We're now readying for the major shareholder's party. I could tell she's uncomfortably anxious, the designer went to our condo and assisted her. She looked exquisitely gorgeous, I aspire no one will come to get near to her or else I'll go berserk.

"Selina," I call her she's sitting on the bed gripped the tissue paper, she uses to scour the side of her eyes.

Looking at me, with her nervously furrowed eyebrows. I stood up in front of her, spreading my arms and allowing her to embrace me.

Adjusting her arms, and she squeezes me. I heard her sough.

"Nervous, aren't you?" I queried her nonchalantly. She nodded, I pulled her narrowly, locking our eyes.

"don't be. Just stay close to me." I said sounding comforting.

"Oh! I like how the way you said it." She said smiling idiotically. I rolled my eyes and grinned.

"You slowly learn how to comfort people huh." She announced smiling brightly and wink.

"I don't comfort people," I said lowly. She's stupid, She failed to notice that I'm only doing this to her. I looked at her, she's blushing.

Nodding"Okay. At least somehow you learn." She said nodding, tugging her lips.

"I'm trying, and it's fucking uncomfortable," I said darkly and she chuckled.

Heading to the venue, she was holding my hand tightening. We walked down the aisle, she was looking down avoiding the flashes of cameras.

When we got inside, she sighed. I looked at her lifting my eyebrows mildly, asking if she's okay. She smiled a little and nodded.

"Hey, Mr. Zyne." The CEO of our partners' hotel greeted me walking over. We shook hands, I looked behind. I looked at the group of men on the right side table they are looking at her. I pulled Selina close to me, linking my arms around her midsection.

We sauntered on our perspective table, Selina sat beside me. I know she's not comfortable. I intertwined our fingers under the table, squeezing her hand barely.

"Hey, Mr.Zyne I would like to talk to you privately if that's okay?" Mr.Guanzon asked, lifting up his eyebrows. And he looked to Selina trying to pardon me. I turned my gaze to Selina, and she smiles, nodded giving her confirmation.

"Just sit here, don't go anywhere. Don't drink."I said assuring her.

She nodded and smiling weakly.

I nodded to Mr. Guanzon and we went to the private room.

We talked over business expansion and investment, dealing with each other, and signing an agreement contract. After that, I went back inside and looked for Selina. There were men talking to him, they both holding liquors, and they grinning idiotically, winking on each other. Selina felt uncomfortable, she stood up but the guys beside him hold her hand. I felt my anger start filling up, I clenched my fist and walked through the table. I know them they are future successors. I hold the guy hand that was holding Selina and twisted it backward making him moaned and contorting in pain.

Selina walked over to me and stopping me from halting his arms.

"Give worth to your life," I said deeply cold to the guy and grabbing her hand and walked to the other table.

"Hey, you don't need to do that," Selina said casually. I looked at her blankly and sighed.

"Hey, Kiari the Man!" That voice from behind was pretty annoying. Annoying me, was his daily basis, even in calls and messages.

"What? Baron?!" I question irritated. He tapped my shoulder.

"Woahh chillax man!" He said loudly. I rolled my eyes.

"Hi, gorgeous angel." He greeted Selina with his seducing smiled.

Extending his hand to shook but I grabbed Selina, linking my arms around her.

"Yeah, my wife is gorgeous," I said mildly teasing him. Selina looked at me with her wide eyes and blushing cheeks.

"Wife? did you two got married.?" Baron asked cuffufled, lifting his eyebrows and pointing us.

"No," Selina said loudly defensively.

Baron clapped and started snickering. I rolled my eyes and punched baron on his chest slightly. He holds his chest still snickered.

"Wife, "I said looking at her seriously. "We'll get their soonest," I said rest assured her everything.

She looked at me with a surprised expression and her cheek caught on fire. Let the butterfly flies baby girl.

"Uhm-Where's the restroom here?" She asked lowly shy. I chuckled and yanking her to the restroom.

"Ahh wait!"She said and stopped walking.

"I can manage alone. You can wait for me there." She said pointing to our table where's Baron's crouching. I nodded and she strolled her way to the restroom.

I waddled back on our table and waited for her to come back. I grabbed the liquor and imbibing a few shots.

"Hey ugly," Baron called me, drinking his liquor. I stared at him with my death glare and he chuckled.

"Where's your so-called wife?" He raised a question, pestering me.

It's almost half an hour she's not back yet.

I stood up "I'll check on her, "I said and strolled my way.

"Hey don't tell me, you're gonna crash inside?" he questions making sure I won't.

But I will, I nodded and ambled on the restroom, but she's not there. I roamed around looking for her but I can't see her.

"Dad." Walking over to him.

"Yes, Son? Good thing you came," he said patting my shoulder.

"Have you seen Selina?" tugging his lip and shaking his head.

"Fuck." I said and walked around the venue looking for her.

I saw the guy I broke the hands earlier.

"Hey, idiot where's Selina?" I asked him deeply and he furrowed his eyebrows, shaking his head.

I clutching his collar, locking our gaze.

"If I know that you've done something to her. I pulled my shares back off. I'll kill you." I said threatening and he nodded leisurely. I pushed him and stride back on our table.

"Baron where is she?" I said to him and he shrugged.

"I don't know. I thought you'll going to find her." I called her phone but it's off. My breath became rigid and my heart started to race. Baron stood up strode his way in front.

"Good evening everyone. Uhm-we're looking to the gorgeous angel of the night. She's wearing fitted gold gown her name is Selina." I heard Baron's voice announcing to everyone and all the guests looked around and start murmuring.

Dad walking towards me And tapped my shoulder.

"Son calms down, maybe she's outside. Inhaling some fresh air. You know, She's not used to this event." That said trying to comfort. I shook my head and walked outside. The receptionist hands me some paper. Saying someone wanna gave this to me.

I opened the letter and my heart skipped its beating.

Hi, demons. Kiari Gray. I assumed that you already said your goodbyes to her.

I curse, I'm furious right now. I need to find where she was. I fold the letter and saw the picture attached to the letter. It's Selina she's laying on the floor with a handcuff and mouth covered. And a picture of a knife with blood.

Shit! this can't be.

"Son." That called me, handing me the phone.

"Hello, Gray. Hahaha so, hope you'd enjoy my present. Selina your wife? She's dying." He said deeply idiotic.

"You asshole don't touch her!" I shouted angrily. And I heard him snickering on the other side.

"Where is she?!" I shouted queried.

"Bye-bye Kiari." He said mockery and hanged up the phone.

"Shit!" I shouted, dialed his number but can't be reached.

Dad grabbed his phone and dialed someone and ended the call.

"Son calm down.' He said lowly.

"Shit that calm down thing! How am I supposed to calm down when I'm already losing her?!" I shouted and he sighed. Baron sprinted coming over to us.

handing me his phone. He tracks her location, but it went error soon.

"She's in texas st. 8," He said catching his breath.

"Let's go," I said and hurriedly turned around but Dad holds my hand.

Shaking his head, "Not now kiari. It's a trap." He said alerting me.

"She's dying," I said deeply furious.

"We still have some time." He said lowly.

"You're Dad's right. It's a trap." Baron said to agree to Dad.

"If falling on his trap means saving her. I'll risk my life." I said and walked away. Dad and Baron followed me. Dad opened the door of his SUV and looking at us.

"Get in," he said and Baron pulled me getting in. Dad's cars were unbelievably complete. He had a rifle, bombs, pistol and all.

He drove and went to the warehouse. Getting off the car and steering inside.

I saw a man sitting on the chair with handcuffs and cuts. Dad holds his face harshly. It's Marco, I know what his plan exchanging lives.

Dad snatched Marco's phone from his pockets and dialed Timothy's line. And turning the speaker on.

"Son. I've been reaching you out several times. Leave the party now." Timothy's rigid breath and grueling tone.

"You fucker, you'll son's dying," I said deeply threatening. Scaring the shit out of him.

"You asshole! let go of my son! You'll pay for this." He shouted angered was flex ing.

"let go of her," I said darkly serious. My heart raced and broke when I heard her cry. I hate it, I hate it when she cries.

"Okay. Texas st. 6" He said coldly and I hanged up the phone. Electric circuit Marco enough to make him filled with darkness.

We carried Marco inside the car and Barom gets in.

"Dad. Stay here." I said quietly. He shook his head and attempted to get in.

I sighed and hit the back of his head to make him gain unconsciousness. When he's not there, I could save myself and Selina. I don't have a doubt.

And I don't want him to get involved he's not safe there.

I carried him to the warehouse bedroom laying him down.

We went to the address Timothy gave us. When we got there we grabbed Marco harshly getting off the car and aimed the gun oh his head.

"Timothy!" Baron shouted, And they appeared our sight.

"Let her go," I said grueling deeply. And he shook his head.

"Let him go." He said in the same manner.

I signal Baron and he nodded I pulled Marco and walked near to him and exchanging him with Selina. When I got her, I heard the gun cracking sound. And Baron aiming his gun behind me.

I know his planning to shoot me.

They shot Baron and I quickly run hiding on the big tree.

"Kiari gets out, Selina will die soon." He said and the bomb beep sounding on the unconscious Selina. I ripped her gown and theirs a bomb, hanging on her legs. I immediately grabbed my knife and cut the wires, but it went fast.

"Haha don't give a try Kiari or she'll die." He said idiotically.

I get out of the tree, leaving Selina's there. He holds the bomb control and holding up for me to see.

I directly point the gun to his, Baron slowly move and I looked at him, signaled to assist Selina. And he stood up, hurriedly went to Selina.

I hurriedly went to her, checking the bombs. I wake her up and ripped the gown in which comfortable she was. I had a gunshot but it only hit my shoulder.

"Hey Selina, Hey come on wake up!" I said quietly shouted and shaking her face. "Selina come on!" She shifted and squinted slowly opened her eyes. I sighed.

I don't know but I feel weird about her. I care for her, I want her safe and But not, that I like her. Maybe as a sister, yeah.

"Baron?"She asked quietly. I nodded.

"What's this?" She asked pointing to the bomb.

"Bomb," I said lowly pity.

"No. No." She said crying as panic-stricken to her and she tries to remove the chains.

"Hey Hey calm down," I said holding both of her faces. "Calm down, listen, We need to get away here immediately. The bomb won't explode if the control was 30 meters away." She nodded. "We can do it, we need to run fast, "I said and she nodded tied up her hair. We need to get away here as soon as possible. We can't use the car, it would alarm Timothy that was was trying to run away. I hold her hand and she squeezes it.

"Let's go?" I said and she nodded helping her to stand up. She remover her high heels. And we start running secretly.

They run away, I know what's happening and I trust Baron to what he was doing. It's for Selina's sake, He's a bomb expert. Hope he'll take the bomb off to her before the 30 meters away.

I'm counting on my mind, just predicting the meters they ran on. Then, after this, I'll shot the control.

"Kiari! throw your gun!" He shouted but I tick my jaw.

"I said throw your gun!" He shouted mad. And holding the controls attempting to press the button. I know they won't get too far. I need to follow, he'll pay for this.

I throw my gun and stood up straight. Then he evil laughed.

"Good boy!" He said snickering, nodding his head. I smirked.

"You're such a coward," I said, and his laughter fades and turns out to be a death glare.

He shook his head "Haha. You're the coward kiari. I know you're scared of I press this red button and your chicks will die." He said wiggling the bomb control.

"Tss, don't give me the definitions of yourself Timothy," I said deeply and he shouts my arms. I gritted my teeth, I'm furious and this angered numb me already.

He ordered his men to come close to me, they doubt but they obey.

They pulled me standing up and I grabbed my knife and stabbed his neck and stomach deeper. And I do the same to the other sidemen. Timothy shot me using his rifles and I made his man a shield. When they run out of bullets I quickly run to hide, to the tree.

I looked down and saw Selina's heels. I plunked the bomb from my waistband and tie it on the heels and threw it on them. They look to it and it exploded. I sighed and get in my car.
