Chapter 24

I woke up, feeling the heat of her body. I carefully hold her head and she's sick. I stood up, covering her with the huge mattress and walked to the bathroom, getting a wet towel and I slowly placed it on the top of her forehead. I proceeded to the kitchen to get some medicines and water. And went back to our room, she's squeezing the pillow. I wake her up to drink meds and she just groaned, she really hates to drink meds.

"Selina," I said deeply and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Drink," I said handing her the meds. She shook her head and laid back to sleep.

I wake her up again and again and again until she drinks the meds.

"I'll bring you to the hospital," I announced and she quickly shook her head.

"No need." She said weakly and sleep. I sighed and watched her sleeping.

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and dialed our doctor's number. Beside Alys we a family doctor that works for us 12 years. The doorbell rang and walked through the door, I looked over peephole and slowly opened the door And saw Doc. Maggy.

"Kiari. Good evening young man." She greeted me and I stared at her casually.

"So what happened?" She asked looking at me worried at stared at her blankly. We strolled our way to my room and found Selina on the couch.

"Selina." Waking her up, shaking her body.

"Excuse me," Maggy said and skipped over me. And checked her.

"She's sick but not too high," Maggy said brushing her hair off from her face.

"Selina?" She said making it sound like a question. I looked at her and she looks wonder. Selina shifted and slowly opened her eyes and she squinted.

"Maggy?" Selina asked her weakly.

"Oh, goodness Angel. Why are you here?" She asked Selina cupping her face. Selina just smiled at her weakly. Maggy turned around facing me. "Well, She's sick because of her red days she's always like that." She said and I nodded.

The doctor leaves and I carried her back to the bed.

"Kiari thank you," She said quietly holding my right hand.

"Welcome, love," I said lowly.

Looking at her, and smirked. I now she's blushing. She tapped the bed space beside her, and I laid down. Hugging me, and placing her head on my chest. I rubbed her back slowly, I shifted slowly and grabbed my phone. And it's revealed the time, so we woke up 12:30 in the morning and now it's 2:26 in the morning. I yawned and closed my eyes.

I wake up, she's not here in the bed anymore. I stood up and looked for her, she's in the kitchen frying egg.

"Selina," I called her casually, turning around and she's smiling at me.

"Yeah?" She asked to continue to a frying egg.

"You have a stain," I said lowly and she looked at me, stunned, and she sprinted to the bathroom.

A minute later she got back, wearing my T-shirt. And I'm now cooking our breakfast.

"Uhm-Kiari, Is it okay if I'll borrow this one?" She asked furrowed looking down she was shy.

"Stupid. You can wear them all if you want Selina." I said blankly placing the utensils on her plate.

"Thank you cockroach." She announced happily and I rolled my eyes.

Sitting, she eats eggs and bacon. She didn't eat the strawberry cakes and pickles. And that made me wonder.

"Why you're not eating this?" I question blankly, pointing the cakes and pickles.

"That sour." She said lowly, munching the bacon.

"You're done?" I asked looking at her blankly and she nodded.

"Change your clothes," I said grueling nodding slightly. And she looked at me stunned.

"I thought it's okay to wear this?" She asked not sounding like a question at all. I rolled my eyes putting back my fork.

"We are going somewhere," I said exited the kitchen.

We're heading to the mall and she has a jacket tied over her waist which covered her butt. When we got to the mall, I got off the car but she's isn't. I knock the window, and she instantly lowered it.

"Let's go," I said coldly. And she just shook her head.

"Selina," I called out her name with a warning.

"I'll just wait here." She said quietly. I opened the door and pulled her out slightly.

She's squeezing my hand as we entered the mall. We walked heading to the boutique, the most famous designer boutiques.

"What  were we doing here?" She said frowned.

"Hi, Mr. Zyne you arrived early," Faccy said kindly jolly. And she looked at Selina with a questioned face.

"Hi Alys." faccy greeted, her and I rolled my eyes. Selina looked down and didn't bother to correct.

"She's Selina." I said darkly and she had the face like "Ohhh" And snickered.

"Selina, you're gorgeous." She said Holding Selina's hair.

"Thank you." She said quietly.

They assisted Selina for the gown she's wearing for the stakeholder.

"Kiari maybe it's better if I won't go." She said frowning.

I looked at her with deathly glare and she immediately looked down.

"You're coming with me," I said deeply and she just pouts.

Faccy called her, bring all the gowns she would try on. She walked out of the bathroom wearing a gown that is too revealing. She walked over to me and show me the gown, I shook my head. If she'll wear that at the party I bring my rifle.

"It's good." She said examining the gown.

"You want to witness gunshot again?" I said deeply and she shook her head in an instant.

"Change it then, " I said gulping the wine.

Next, she's wearing vintage color long down. It's good, it won't show her cleavage but when she turns back it's a precious haven. It's too open.

"You look gorgeous," Faccy said and Selina was smiling kindly.

"Change that," I said deeply and they both looked at me with lifting their eyebrows.

"Why?" Faccy asked holding her gown.

"She might catch a cold," I said didn't bother myself to look at them. And continue reading the magazines.

She tries the last gown and it's fitted her curve and has a slit on her right legs, gold and it has spaghetti strap.

"I want this."She said smiling brightly wiggling the gown.

I sighed and nodded.

I really need to bring rifles and bombs.

She changes her clothes, and we exited the boutique heading to the heels and shoe shop.

She tried the first one but it's too high. The next one it's perfect.

"Let go home," I said blankly. I hate shopping, going to the mall like this. But I can't let her go to the mall alone.

"Wait." She said linking on my arms. And grabbed me on groceries station, and stopping on the pads area. I let go of her hand and leave the area, waiting for her outside stuffing my hand on my pockets.

After a minute, she doesn't go out yet. I walked inside heading to the pads area and but she's not there anymore. I walked to the counter and saw her talking to a guy who's holding a basket. I stood up, observing the guy gestures and I clenched my fist when Selina turned her back and fall in the line, the boy holds her waist. I walked fast grabbing the guy's shoulder and punched him.

Selina immediately panic stopping me from killing him, She keeps shouting to stop, I stop and took a deep breath and looked and him standing up, blood trickling on his head and nose.

Selina looked around all eyes are on me and she immediately grabbed me exited the mall, heading to the parking lot.

"What was that?!" She shouted, I placed my hand on my hips and sighed.

"He's an idiot," I said breathing rapidly.

"That's all?! Kiari that's embarrassing!" She shouted angrily and I get in the car and she instantly gets in on the other side.

"You almost killed him!" She shouted again.

"I should've just killed him," I said deeply. Trying to calm myself down, I don't want to shout her. Now I know, when she's mad she's much scary than I am.

"What?! are you out of your mind?" She said catching her breath.

"She's a pervert Selina. I saw him he hold your waist!" I said with a high pitched voice. Not really a shout.

"Kiari you're overreacting. What if he doesn't mean it?!" She queries shouting.

"I know she means it, Selina," I said deeply cold. I sighed and start the engine.

"You shouldn't be done that." She said looking outside the window. "You should say sorry to him." She said lowly.

"No," I said firmly cold. I'll never say sorry over my dead body.

"Kiari you're at fault." She said trying to convince me.

"No," I said firmly. She can't force me I saw it.

She sighed, shaking her head.

"Stop the car." She said maddeningly. But I wouldn't do what she wants, she will just hurt herself if she's alone.

"Selina," I said warning her.

She just rolled her eyes and shifted at the backseat.

Sighing, I hate this every time we fight. I thought I will gonna lose her and the thought drives me crazy. We got to the condo and she opened the door immediately walked heading straight to our condo.

She didn't even look at me, she just ignores me. We eat dinner, still, she's not talking. She sleeps in a bed and I laid beside her and she stood up heading to the couch. I sighed and walked over to her carrying her to the bed. And I laid down to the couch. We slept alone, she's on the bed while I'm on the couch.

I can't sleep, I had shifted many times, I sit in the couch before standing up. I sighed and walked over to her arranging her blanket and exited the bedroom.

I felt he's covering me with a blanket when I feel that he left I slowly opened my eyes. I sighed, he's crazy he shouldn't have done that. He almost killed that guy, I stood up, secretly looking for him outside. I saw him on the terrace drinking liquor, I just stared at him—staring on a peaceful evening. I want to get closer to him, I want to hug him but I can't he got berserk for a low reason.

I got back to my room and tried to sleep but I can't, I stood up grabbing my phone from the small nightstand and opening my accounts. The guy sent me a friend request, I stalked him for a while and saw how wild his post was. I went back to my news feed and keep scrolling, I saw the fighting scene video records of what happened in the supermarket groceries store. The first video was Kiari punching the guy mercilessly. And the next video was the video of me, falling in the line and the guy was behind me he knew there are recording, and I heard the noise it's his friend who took the video. He stood up behind me and done some wild gesture, and he touches my hair that's the time I turned around and we face at each other her entertained me and I entertained him back. And kiari was right he holds my waist, and I was about to look back when I saw kiari punching him.

I immediately turned off my phone when I heard his footstep rushing over. I removed my blanket and pretending I'm sleeping, I heard his footstep stopped in front of me and he covered me properly with a blanket. I hold her hand and he stopped, I slowly opened my eyes. I seat up leaning on the headboard and looking at him. He stared at me blankly, I grabbed his hand making him seat beside me.

The seats beside me, and I intertwined our fingers, locking our gaze and I sighed. I need to say sorry and thank you, now the tables turned. He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows waiting for me to spill the words.

"Sleep here," I said quietly, He stood up and walked through the couch and laid down. Covering his face with her left hand.

I stood up and walked through him, I pulled his hand and he looked at me with those questioning eyes.

"Selina. I won't let you sleep on a couch." He said blankly. I'm at fault and yet he still cared for me.

"Let's sleep in bed together," I said quietly and he stood up walking through the bed and laid down.

I laid down beside him, placing my head on his chest and squeezed him tightly. He placed his hand on my back.

"Love, I'm sorry," I said quietly embarrassed. He looked at me stunned, lifting his eyebrows.

"What?" He said blankly. But why do I feel like this is a joke?

"I said, I'm sorry, and thank you for saving me from that guy," I said lowly, locking our stared.

"What?" He asked sounds like teasing.

"I said sorry and thank you," I said casually.

"What are you saying? I can't hear you." He asked pretending.

"I said Thank you and Sorry!!"I shouted on his ear and he immediately covered his ear.

Rolling his eyeball, and stared at me, amusement flashed on his eyes and pass.

"I told you, I should've just killed him." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Are you mad?" I asked and he smirks on my queries. He didn't answer. He was looking in my lips and I know what he wants. I leaned down on his face slowly and bite his nose. In an instant, he pulled me up, away to his nose.

"Stupid."He mumbled, I hold his face and looking oh his nose. My teeth were forming there and it's like a ripe tomato.

He laid down grabbing the pillow and covered his face shited on the other side. I grabbed him making him looked at me and I quickly leaned down giving him a quick peck on his lips. He lifted his brows.

"That's it?" He asked pissed off.

I nodded. He holds my hand and pulled me for a kiss.
