The Base, and 'Knowledge points'...

[+500,000 General XP]

Danny built the base in just 10 days without any rest! Moreover he's still perfectly standing with no sweat at all! He's clearly defying commonsense here!... Which he would be if it weren't for him being in his avatar's body.

Depending on the game/simulation, the avatar of a player does not require any rest nor any nutrients, though taste is stimulated, therefore players don't need to drink or eat food, but they can if they want to...

Either way, the base does indeed look mighty impressive.

Since the base is next to a river, it is powered by a hydroelectric generator.

The base that Danny built has several useful facilities, but more could still be added, and the facilities could still be updated in the future.

However, it cannot be done right now, as Danny is currently lacking the required knowledge to include all those upgrades he wants to have, into his base.

And in order to get the knowledge he wants, he would require a sufficient amount of 'knowledge points,' (or KP for short) which are used to gain various kinds of knowledge, or to create a finished blueprint using his [Apply knowledge] skill.

And in order to get these 'knowledge points' he would obviously have to do some research based work, for example: experimentation, collecting samples, looking at samples under a microscope, anatomy, making new discoveries, making accurate or sensible theories, testing theories, etc...

The good thing is that the base is already equipped with a laboratory for this exact purpose.

...

After Danny spent his Exp to level up his two main starter classes to level 7, losing 280,000 General experience points, but gaining 11 intelligence points, 3 strength points and 4 spare points. More points were awarded at level 5 and beyond.

Thus, his [Stats] are currently like this:

-[Strength]: 27

-[Agility]: 18

-[Dexterity]: 18

-[Intelligence]: 40

-[Charisma]: 20

-[Constitution]: 21

-[Psionic aptitude]: 0

Each stat except [Psionic aptitude] will cost a single spare point to increase the specifically chosen stat by one point. [Psionic aptitude] on the other hand will require 5 spare points to increase it by a single point. However, that does not mean that this is the only way to enhance one's stats, in matter of fact, there are actually few other ways he could increase his stats without using any spare points, one for example is that he could use some specific knowledge to modify himself, neural modifications would be able to enhance [Intelligence], [Charisma], [Psionic aptitude], and some even boost [Dexterity], meanwhile body modifications generally enhance [Strength], [Constitution] and [Dexterity]. It is also possible to temporarily increase his stats using either steroids or nootropics, the first one can last for quite a long time, enhancing physical stats until it's duration ends, the latter one on the other hand can enhance mental stats.

'Hmm lets see, what do we have here?' He thought to himself.

In the lab, Danny is viewing a unfamiliar plant specimen, while being donned in lab clothing. He took samples from the natural environment that is located outside of his base. While he was looking for samples to gain research points, he saw many familiar plants, but also some that he certainly doesn't recognize, for example he saw this strange red flower that glows in the dark. Either way, he took samples of both familiar and unfamiliar plants, he would achieve research points regardless.

'Honestly though, this flower, as well as some other small plants I've found, all look like something that came out of a fantasy story.'

'But the biggest question I have is whether the plant has any special properties, after all there are many plants that have values in either creating medicine, poison, etc.'

'This is definitely the best time for me to use my [Analysis] skill, as that is what its used for...'

...

The [Analysis] skill is, in a way, a bit like an appraisal power, however, lab equipment is required to be in the vicinity for it to work, once the object is analyzed, the skill holder is easily able to discern any object affiliated to what they have analyzed in the past, size and shape difference does not matter.

Cybernetic, biological, and psionic powers are not considered 'skills,' instead they are known as 'abilities,' [Cyber eye] -a cybernetic ability- was much more like an appraisal power, but also points out any strengths and weaknesses; the behavior, status, and personality of an individual; and can detect threats from a distance or that are hidden. On the other hand there is [Claircognizance] -a psionic ability- which basically allows the user to gain knowledge of anything existing or will be in the future, it is also quite a rare ability in the game that Danny is supposed to be in, which could allow the user of this power to invent something early, or to have knowledge of anything that is kept a secret from public eyes. The power/strength of psionic abilities relies on both [Intelligence] and [Psionic aptitude] while the capacity for psionic energy solely relied on [Psionic aptitude].

Apart from cybernetic, biological, and psionic powers, there is also nano-mechanical powers and technologies which also have a great number of possibilities, like: construction, destruction, manufacture, etc.

[+30,000 KP]

'This plant is indeed an intriguing find, the analysis says that it has major healing properties, and that scientific methods could be used to turn it into a synthesized medicine, like a pill or a liquid-form medicine.'

'However, this may also confirm that I am on a different world that I'm not supposed to be in the first place, from the trailer I have seen, all the plants I saw are recognizable. Moreover, from what I read in the forums and written lore, I should have appeared on Earth with a different timeline, and in a specific place, alongside with other players.'

Danny continues to analyze the rest of the plants.

...

A day later, Danny spots a herd of strange mammoth-like beasts.

'I am definitely on a different planet...' Danny thought to himself with both eyebrows raised.
