I nodded slowly not looking at anyone.
"Leave me, Kristiana. It is paining" he said shoving her down. Kristoff caught Kristiana's wrist and glared angrily "Watch what you are doing, Eric"
"Not my fault, I turned your over protective brother mode on"
Is it just Ethan or Kristoff, or all Empire brothers protective?
I had a friend in high school who told me that her brother wrestles her, fight with her and even complains about her to their parents?
Like who does that? Is it an alternate universe? People may say this is, but opinion of mine matters more than anything. It is because this is my mind and I am allowed to think whatever I want.
I laughed at my evilness. Everyone turned towards me. Now there should be a anchor to change the topic.
"So, anyone wanna come and start exploring the school?" I asked as I know that in first day of Gagenoble, there are no lessons. Perks of having an elder brother who calculates what are the free days at school.
"I am so in" Kristoff said," Whoever comes first to the tree over there is the winner and all should buy them a blood sweet" he said running.
"I can't believe you bet me" Kristoff said. I didn't know what he meant by that. I am good at sports and have won many awards for athletics. The tea is that Eric Bracer, the boy who made fun of me came second, not Kristoff.
"HA HA" I said and we kept exploring the school. "What are the other two houses?"
Kristiana got a smart look on her face. "The fire house is called Truffles. Their head is Mr. Ralph Tarantula. He's a creepy guy, if you ask me. The other house is GoldSparrow, it has one member who has Sky power. Sky power is so rare. Only one in every set gets them but the only thing they learn there is broom riding. Their head is Ms. Ash Fried. She's so stiff you can stiff nails into her without her noticing. You know, there is a fun fact about this school, the magic the school uses has its base from a language called Spelitin, which was used to be vampires language"
Oh, she's a bookworm, the term in human schools for people like Kristiana is nerds.
"How do you know so much? I mean, my brother studied here, but I still have no idea" I said.
"She's a nerdy bookworm" Kristoff said as I looked in awe on how he used the exact same words I thought. He isn't a mind reader, is he?
"Get out of my head, Kristoff" I said internally, to see no expression.
I must be going mad.
"And so are you" Eric said to Kristoff.
Great, two nerds who are so sweet.
When we came to the grounds, we saw a second year burning down a cloak. I knew he was a second year as each year have different colour batches. When he saw us, he smiled, "I am just burning our boy bead Ben's cloak. Don't mind me."
"We do mind" Kristiana said , Kristoff and Eric giggled.
"Bead?" I asked.
"Yeah, our year's student president"
At that time, a Xerox copy of the one burning the cloak came. He looked at us and continued, "I have burned Daphne's cloak too"
Then another Xerox copy of the two came. He surveyed us and told, "I have got it!"
This is insane. Multipliers or Triplets?
"Got what?" Kristiana asked.
"You will see tomorrow" they chorused and laughed.
A bell stuck my head. "I know you. My brother mentioned to me. You are the pranksters of the academy. West, Cole and Luca, the" another wave of realization spread through me and I said, "Stuart triplets"
"Yeah...That's us" one of them said, "Brothers of the Stuart twins"
Kristoff and Kristen became red. The what?
I can't believe the famous triplets have a opposite younger duo.
Then a voice shouted, "STUARTS!!!"
"That's Ben!!" one of them said and all turned invisible from the area.
"Total Jerks" Kristiana said. "They are cool" Eric said, "Too bad that they had to be Emersons"
"They have invisibility, Super Speed and Super Strength" Kristoff said, "Such useful powers wasted on those three!!"
When we returned to the dorm, Ms. Ariel gave out schedules. She told us that after Lunch, it's cracking time.
Cracking time .It was the best thing about the day. That's the time when the eggs crack and we get pets that are antidotes of our power.
I went out and Kristoff followed me.
"Hey" he said.
"Hey" I responded.
"I am sorry for the way Eric is acting. He can be a total jerk sometimes."
"You don't have to apologize to me for him" I pointed out.
"There's no way the fool is going to do that" he said sarcastically.
"I know" I said as I realized how easy it was for me to talk to him.
At that time, Eric came out. "Kristoff, your sister will bite my head off if you are not coming inside"
"How come?" He asked
"This is the fifth time in the day, she's lecturing me about shadows"
"Her lectures can be cruel. But you deserve it."
"How come?" Eric asked.
"You made her cry on the first day" He said pointing to me.
Eric's eyes softened. How does his rock heart change now? His eyes seemed so genuine, I know I can't forgive him.
"You cried?" he asked. I turned away my head.
"I am sorry. I don't like shadows. But I didn't have any intention of making you cry"
I turned again unable to believe it.
"Why do you hate shadows?"
"Well, the Empires from Calics, always manipulate shadows to join them"
"All shadows are not such dumb". What is he, five?
"Then I owe you an apology" he said and yelled. "HEY Kristiana, I apologized." I should have guessed that he did it to get Kristiana off his head.
"Good" she said and I smiled at her.
"I didn't expect you to change that fast" I said and it was responded with "Neither did I". He suddenly caught my heads and entangled me in a hug. I was about to break off but he whispered some words in my ear, " I am too proud to say this, but I am really sorry, for making you cry and everything. You are so sweet to hang out with me even though you hate me. Thank you and I am sorry. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"
"Be my friend" I said as I returned the hug.
"It's my pleasure"
After lunch, I started doodling on Kristiana's hand.
"You really are an artist, Ellie"
I smiled.
"You are really shy, you know that, Ellie?" she asked. Yeah, I am but you haven't been inside my head, buddy.
"I know" I said in a low voice.
"You should start talking, if you ask me" she continued, "People tend to hurt you if you are so silent and not talk back"
I looked at her confused. I won't get hurt, people will get hurt if I start to talk back.
A girl with long black hair and brown eyes came to us. She looked at us and said in a dulcet tone, "I am looking for a Ellie Meltone from Startrekkers" She was the same girl who shot me annoyed glances when I teased our head accidentally.
"That's me" I said looking down at my friends for some possible explanation.
