Jeannie stared at the door as it banged so hard that it almost fell off it's hinges. Alex Mosse was one hell of a force someone to be reckoned with. And she had, for the first time under estimated her husband. She, too, like Alex Mosse had assumed that he was too enduring and would have no defense against him.

With Alex Mosse gone out of the office, Christopher raised an eyebrow at his wife. Jeannie raised her eyebrows and sheepishly picked up a file from her table, burying her face inside, pretending to be extremely busy. With her head still buried inside, she spoke," You must be very busy, right? You don't have to stay here. I'll be fine."

"Really sweet love? You think going behind my back, inviting an enemy into your office after spreading the rumour that you are pregnant, I should say nothing and just get back to work? You seem to take a lot of things for granted.."
