MORE CHALLENGES KEEP COMING STEFANS WAY

The new year has just begun and its 2022. Stefan has just turned 10 years old, determined to strive and excel in school and also do well in terms of co-curriculum activities. He had the support of his father who was a great player in his generation. School started and he was just going as usual, and training during the weekend. He got to sign for a smaller club to start once again since he was a free agent. He joined Birmingham football club. On making his return the press was on him asking him why he left crystal palace. He got to reveal the truth that his mother wanted him to focus on other things other than football. He also revealed he got an injury which almost sabotaged his career. That interview went so viral to the point he was trending. Bloggers had started to phrase Victoria as a not supportive parent when it comes to talent. Whenever Vicky could go outside she could be ambushed by interviewers who could ask a lot of questions. She had to dodge all of them every time she encountered journalists. It now started getting into her head because she was being trolled online for not being supportive. Marcus had to come to her aid by defending her on a famous television show. That had cleared the air for Victoria. Everything was now supposed to go back to normal. Stefan was now ready to undergo full training and even get some few minutes of playing time. The season was now premiering and Stefan was on the sidelines watching and cheering on his teammates. In 3 weeks time he had gained full match fitness and was ready to compete. The third match was against his former side crystal palace his former side. The coach was determined to start Stefan but he opted to put him in as a super sub. The game was played but the dead lock was not broken everyone in the arena was awaiting for Stefan to make his comeback and what he will bring to the team. The time finally came and Stefan was warming up at the sidelines as everyone else cheered on him. Immediately the second half began he was brought in to play. The crowd in Birmingham was noisy whistles were being blown all over the crowd. Whenever he touched the ball he was being marked by a lot of players. Stefan was not at the level of his peers from the looks. Stefan was not well going forward or defending. He had a bad performance on his return and even the crystal palace fans were making fun of him. To cap it all Stefan caused the only goal of the game making Birmingham lose 3 points. This was the first time he had ever put up a bad performance. There was a new kid who outshined Stefan he was even crowned the man of the match. Stefan was upset with himself he ran outside the football pitch. All eyes were on loftus. The coach had to come to his defense. The coach said they should give him more time. The Birmingham coach had to go and check on him to ensure Stefan is doing alright. He was in the dressing room crying. The coach had to cheer him up together with his team mates to ensure he is doing great. After some time he started to feel better he even stopped crying, Victoria had to come pick his son up. That night Marcus had to motivate him and remind him there are 35 games to be played. Stefan had to sleep early since the next day he was going to school. The next day at school he found himself the laughing stalk. He could hear students discussing him how he put on a terrible performance. It was difficult for Stefan to cope up with what was going on but he tried to be strong. Everyone was just talking about Loftus and his amazing performance, there even emerged comparisons between the 2 kids. When he got home he told Marcus everything that was going on in school. Marcus told him to compete with himself and focus on making it. Victoria told him success is the best revenge. Stefan now felt motivated to play football. On Thursday he was the first one to arrive on training and he started preparing himself. When his fellow teammates arrived they were surprised to find him earliest in training, this time he meant business he even told his teammates they should prepare for the game over the weekend. When the coach came over he was impressed on seeing his young lads preparing themselves. He saw Stefan had good leadership skills. Nevertheless he had prepared some tactics that they would use to beat their opponents. They immediately started doing those tutorials he came up with. He had created a style of play that would suit Stefan and make him the center of attack. They had a game on Sunday evening against a top side. Stefan was back in the starting line up after so many months. All eyes were on him to do a performance like no other. When the game started he started to show glimpses of him returning to his best. He created so many chances for his teammates. He was doing well attacking and defending. In the second half he opened up the scoring and in some few minutes later he gave an assist. The Birmingham fans and the bench was celebrating and singing his name. As the game went by Stefan made an interception and he started sprinting forward soon he got tackled to the ground. He screamed in pain and the medical team had to check on him. He was once again taken off the field to receive treatment. The good thing was they got to win the game and take the 3 points. After the match the coach was asked to address the injury of Stefan? He told them they need to wait to hear from the medical team. The coach had to go and check on him to know if it was a serious injury. Stefan felt a knock on his right knee. They had to run tests on him to know if it was something serious. They found out it it something serious that will keep him out for more than 4 months. This was another big blow to Stefan's career, after being out for a long time and coming back he is going out again. When he heard that from the coach it left him emotional. He imagined how he had put in the work and it all ended up wasted. That day Marcus had to go and bring him home. Stefan was not happy on getting frequent injuries. His father had to motivate him to take a break and recover soon. He went home and went straight away to get some sleep. In his bed he was thinking of ending his football career and focusing on studies. Early in the morning he went to school and was quiet as usual and went home to receive treatment. He was supposed to undergo treatment everyday to have a quick recovery. He woke up the next day and decided to hang his boots early. He told his mother he is going to leave football and try something else. Marcus who was against that decision had to respect his decision. He now could just go to the pitch and watch the game from the stands. Inside him he felt there is something that he has to offer to the world of football, but he remembered he chose to leave soccer and focus on other things. So after school he was just watching movies and trying to see whether he can try out acting. Victoria felt happy for his son and even wanted him to pursue medicine later on. Stefan was just trying something else different from football. He just was a fan who supported Birmingham from the stands. He told the coach that he is not yet ready to return to the football pitch. After 4 months he was fully fit but opted to go to acting school to try and perfect his skills in acting. He was going on well for some time but he always felt there is something inside him which was missing. Victoria was busy supporting him to continue with film. After 3 months he felt he needed to get back to the pitch and he went back to Birmingham, where the coach still welcomed him his position was still there.
