The current state of the world

The councils of America and Brazil were diverse, each composed of wizards specializing in specific departments. Pure-bloods were heavily involved in the Department of International Magical Co-operation and the Department of Magical Transportation, aiming to enhance their connections and wealth. Conversely, new blood, half-bloods, and half-breeds found alignment with departments representing their respective communities, leading to emerging tensions.

In Japan, wizards operated differently, with Auror's wielding ministerial power and a unique education system featuring a single teacher for all subjects. Retired Auror's had the authority to select students, while weaker wizards were assigned to alternative roles. Consequently, the number of Japanese wizards has declined since the 1970s.

Despite Japan's aspirations for Muggle domination, the International Confederation of Wizards (ICW) consistently thwarted them, resulting in ongoing disputes between the Japanese Wizarding Committee and the ICW. The ICW feared the mystical dark arts mastered by many Japanese witches and wizards, yet the Japanese community's whereabouts remained elusive.

Recognizing Japan's potential, Valerius recently wrote numerous letters encouraging German Minister Vogel to establish an alliance to benefit German wizards' prosperity.

Coming back to Hogwarts,

Cecilia "Val, why did you do this thing?"

Valerius "What thing"

Cecilia "Promising that senior, wins the Quidditch match, how are you going to achieve that, if you lose, you will join the R group"

Valerius "I have long-term plans, Cecilia, I have been playing and flying for 7 years now, and I don't want to lose the advantage of the time invested into Quidditch"

Cecilia "for 7 years?"

Valerius "I have played against various German players and skilled up myself so, it will be easy to win against a petty team like Hogwarts Houses, and after all Quidditch is all about the Golden Snitch"

After the transfiguration class,

The transfiguration class was with Hufflepuff.

Valerius transfigured the things said by Professor Minerva McGonagall quite easily and earned a dozen points for this house.

After leaving...

Cedric "Hey Grindelwald how did you manage to do transfiguration so easily?"

Valerius "One must possess a creative and imaginative mind to conquer Transfiguration, meaning Imagination and execution is the key to transfigure any matter that exists"

Cedric "Anyway Grindelwald"

Cecilia "Stop with Grindelwald this, Grindelwald that, say his name or get lost"

Cedric "Calling by the name Valerius, doesn't change the fact your Grindelwald right?"

Valerius "That is correct, don't worry your attention-seeking journey will not be spoiled by me intentionally"

Cedric felt embarrassed because that hit his spot so badly, that he could not speak.

Nott made fun of Cedric "Ouch!"

Slytherin and a few Hufflepuffs laughed it out.

For Valerius, everything was easily for him,

He has a photographic memory, no worry about exams, and no concern about performing spells, because of his talents.

Valerius seems like he is not growing at all, Valerius has this feeling because he is not learning something new.

So Valerius went to the library and got the books on Arithmancy and practical applications of Arithmancy and Alchemy.

Valerius began to read the books and tried to do all the practical applications of it

@ The Slytherin House dorms

Merula "Hey, Grindelwald I talked to Prof Snape about joining you in the Slytherin team, he called you for your permission"

Cecilia "I will also come with Val"

Nott "Me too"

Merula "Alright"

Valerius, Nott, and Cecilia came to Snape's office.

His office smelled of chemicals and ingredients for the potion and had a huge private storage room behind the doors with a lot of books.

Snape "Snyde, I only asked to you bring Mr. Grindelwald, why do I see other faces"

Cecilia "Well, the reputation of Senior Snyde is not good enough to believe her professor"

Merula gritted her teeth

Snape "You got nice friends Mr Grindelwald"

Valerius "I am really lucky to have nice friends around me, now please come to the point professor"

Snape "I heard from senior that your flying skills are good enough to become the seeker of the serpents, so what do you think"

Valerius "I have a good amount of practice in Quidditch so, I will do fine Professor, since the Serpents need to win the cup this academic year"

Snape "Sounds Good, tomorrow at 6 am on the grounds with all other senior players"

Valerius "Sure"

Cecilia "Val you going to become the youngest seeker in the history of Quidditch"

Evergreen "Hey, Cecilia, Max, Val we have exams to study for"

Avery "Damn these exams, why it is so hard"

Valerius "Do you like Magic Orion?"

Avery "Yes, I like it"

Valerius "Then it will be easy to get good marks in the exam too"

Nott "You said it quite easily"

Valerius "Don't worry, I have some special notes, read only that, you could get above-average marks easily"

Avery "Thanks Val"

# Next morning:

Snape "We are going to conduct a race from the Hogwarts grounds to the Quidditch rings, who fly faster and controlled manner will be given the seeker position in the team"

Valerius was tested to fly the broom,

Merula "On your marks, get set, shoot"

After that shoot, Valerius flew too fast with precise control over the broom

Valerius completed the race with an overwhelming record.

All the Slytherin students who have gathered, to see the try-outs, cheered for Grindelwald.

Hence, Grindelwald became the youngest new seeker in the history of Hogwarts.

Merula "Even if you become one, how will you win the matches"

Grindelwald "That's for me to solve, not yours"

Grindelwald "But remember you will be doing whatever I say unconditionally if I win the Quidditch cup this year"

Merula "Yeah whatever!"

Merula Snyde never believed that Valerius would win the Quidditch house cup.

As days passed,

Valerius was extraordinary with his classes and also studied his extra books on practical applications of Arithmancy.

Using Arithmancy and Alchemy knowledge from Mr Flamel's memory he builds a magical world's first-ever fax machine.

All the Slytherin were fascinated by this idea.

The next day,

@ The Quidditch stadium

Lee Jordan "Headmaster I would like to be the commentator of the Quidditch match"

Albus "Professor McGonagall told me that, you proposed this idea, we do not have a commentator in Hogwarts, so we will welcome you as the new commentator of the Quidditch matches"

Lee Jordan "Thank you headmaster commentating is one of my best hobby to do"

Albus "Make sure that you don't do a partiality while doing Commentary"

Lee Jordan "I will take it to my mind"

Lee "The first match between Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch team of the season begins"

"I am your new Commentator Lee Jorden, I would like to thank Headmaster Dumbledore for making me the commentator of this fresh season"

"Now, the Slytherin team has got their youngest seeker in the century, Valerius Alarie Grindelwald, on the other hand, we have a more experienced player Charles Weasley of the Gryffindor, Let us give a huge applause"

Everyone cheered the teams and now Madame Hooch came with the box

"Let's welcome our esteemed Referee, Professor Rolanda Hooch"

Merula "Hey Valerius make sure to catch the golden snitch before 30 minutes, then I acknowledge you for your skills"

Valerius "I never wanted your Acknowledgement, for the sake of Slytherin, I will do my best"

All the Slytherin and Gryffindor players lined up for the first match of the season.
