History

The history of the world described the 'Battle of the Gods' as something which shaped the entire planet anew. According to the book, the three great beings were so powerful that they were able to create various divine weapons and bestow them to their followers. Their power had no bounds. Their epoch was known as the golden age of enlightenment for the human race. There were various powerful beings being born during this epoch who followed the three beings into war against the external races. The human race of this epoch was very much united and everyone followed the path of enlightenment.

But after the 'Battle of Gods' the entire planet was plunged into sorrow. Although the human race had won but at the cost of various powerful beings which were lost in the river of time, forever. The three powerful beings lost a majority of their strength due to relentless attacks from the powerful weapons and artifacts of the external races. The condition of the planet also deteriorated, landmasses were destroyed by the fights, the air and the Vital Energy of the planet was also polluted, degrading the strength of the next generation and leaving the current generation crippled.

Immediately after Aria started reading, the voice immediately sounded in his mind and he noticed that the number had now increased by almost '10'.

'Hmm, it's increasing?'

There were a lot of questions in his mind and Aria was hoping they would be answered once the Athenaeum, or whatever it was called, activated.

But then he gathered his thoughts and focused on the other book which was named as the 'History of the Academy'. He was more interested in this book, as he felt a bit of familiarity with Old Seven for some reason.

Without any delay, he picked up that book and began to read through the contents. The more he read the more puzzled he was and at the end he was left surprised.

The records in the book began after the 'Battle of Gods'. The book stated that after the battle with the external races, the three great progenitors gathered for a secret meeting. During this meeting they discussed a major issue. One of the progenitors had infiltrated one of the external races' transport vessels. There he came to know about the main reason the external beings were attacking their planet. The transport vessel, the flagship that he infiltrated belonged to one of the races who were considered to be most powerful among the other invading races and could even be seen as their leader.

The information he found stated that there were four artifacts hidden on their planet which contained untold, formidable knowledge which could propel any race to the summit of glory and make them all powerful. Along with this he also found that the external beings had only dispatched a small scouting regiment to their planet to find out more about these artifacts. This information caught the three beings off guard. During this time, the entire human race was basically crippled. If their scouting regiment could deal them with such damage then the main force would destroy them without any thought.

It was then the three beings made a harsh decision. They gathered every available resource the planet could produce and began to reverse engineer the ships and weapons of these beings. Considering how the epoch was known as the golden age of enlightenment, they were blessed with many geniuses who could decipher the knowledge from their artifacts and convert it into their own.

During that age, time was not a concept based on sunrise and sunset. It was much more profound and vague. According to the three great progenitors, time was not just a concept but a Law of the Universe which could not be violated and was calculated based on the moment of stars and flow of the Universal Vital Energy. Time was the product of birth and destruction of a star or a planet, it was a closed cycle which governed the Vital Force of the Universe. The concept of years came much later, Time was known as 'Kalpa' by the three beings.

The three beings utilized numerous kalpas to reverse engineer the ships and weapons and convert everything into their own knowledge. They learned about the concept of space travel, science behind the workings of the Universal Laws, planetary systems and much more. On the other hand the progenitor who had infiltrated the mothership went in search of the four artifacts.

After searching for a few hundred kalpas, he found the trace of one such artifact. But when he found it he was surprised as the artifact was nothing more than a grimoire filled with something which was undecipherable even to him. Using the traces, he found the rest of the three artifacts in another upcoming hundred kalpas.

When he returned back, the three great beings converged to decrypt the hidden knowledge in these artifacts. These beings were very much concerned about the human race and were worried that they would not be able to protect the planet if the main force of the external races attacked them.

They used everything they had but they could not decipher all of the content in the artifacts. But after studying the artifacts for a long thousand kalpas, the beings were enlightened to many Universal Concepts like Space, Time, Life, Death, Karma, Luck and also some hidden knowledge about the workings of the Universe.

But these kalpas had drained them of their powers, even though they gained a vast amount of knowledge and enlightened themselves, their physical prowess dwindled and they lost a majority of their Vital Force.

Then a hard decision had to be made.

As he read the book, the number on the top right corner of his eye was increasing at a rapid pace, but his entire concentration was on the contents of the book.
