The Righteous Minecrafter in Danmachi(Wishfulfillment)

Raphael aspired to be a righteous one, someone with principles, someone that people would look up to and try to imitate. He wanted to live a life he wouldn't regret and honestly, it has gone pretty well for him. He has become a role model for his peers and younger relatives. Someone a mother would say to her child to be like. A helpful and kind man who wanted to do good. Nevertheless, the universe tends to give its harshest trials to the best of people. His wife died soon after he married her, he lost his job(not because of some petty boss but because of an economic crisis), and no one could help him for everyone had it as bad at the moment. Still, he never gave up his righteous aspirations and like in his dreams, died a heroic death. But is this the end of him?

What kind of bakery is that!?

"A bakery? Here? Since when?" early morning the next day some passersby stared at the previously empty plot of land that suddenly sprouted with a completely new establishment. Some had a strange look in their eyes but didn't dare do anything yet.

While people were gathering around, wondering if they should go in, Raphael was making the last finishing moments in the front part of the bakery. He had a section with different kinds of warm bread, another section for sweets like cookies, cakes, and chocolate(Waffle's peaceable foods), and a section with something that is called "coffee bread" where he comes from. Only after placing all of them together did Raphael notice that some things didn't seem to exist in bakeries. But Raphael had never been to a bakery, not even talking about opening one, so he had no idea what he should sell except for something like bread. Don't you bake a cake or cookies? Shouldn't they be included then? The chocolate was just a whim though.

He shook his head, not caring about how correct his assortment of products was for a bakery. He calls it a bakery and he bakes things here, that's it for him.

Raphael took a deep breath and slowly exhaled looking at the people outside and with a big smile strode out.

"Why is the door so big?" some people rightfully whispered among themselves until they saw a small giant stepping out from the "bakery". The man was easily over 2 meters long and was towering over them. The orderly black beard added a sense of maturity and contrasted heavily with the big smile on the face.

"Welcome everyone and thank you for coming. Don't feel surprised that I've opened a bakery exactly here and do not doubt me when I say that I am capable enough to defend it." the giant seemed to be warning. The people felt nervous when hearing this even though they haven't done anything bad. It's like going to a grocery store but going out empty-handed. You haven't stolen anything but it somehow feels as if you have.

"Don't worry folks, as long as you don't cause trouble I will welcome you with open arms. What about having a first-day promotion? Everyone can get one product each, completely for free only for today so hurry up before the stock goes out!" Raphael tried motivating the crowd.

It worked as a chasm for the people of this district, forcing them to push into the shop following Raphael and were momentarily dazed. They looked at the different kinds of warm bread that all had compelling unique smells to them with which they had no problems. But then they looked at all the sweets on the other displays in the shop. All the cookies, cakes, and something that looked like chocolate(they hadn't seen this kind of chocolate). Many flavors could be seen as they stacked on the floors of the multifloored displays around. 'What kind of bakery is this?' they all thought.

They didn't care though if it was a bakery or not, just that it gave away one thing for free that they could feed their families with. But what to do, there's so much to choose from that the hurrying crowd suddenly dispersed to different displays, trying to choose something. Raphael was not in a hurry and calmly sat behind the register.

Soon, people chose what they wanted. Some chose the biggest products they found while others didn't mind taking something smaller that looked tastier. Some parents in the crowd could barely hold back their smiles imagining the surprise they would bring to their children with a sudden chocolate cake or something similar.

the first batch of people had taken only 15 minutes to choose and hurried away as soon as possible but not even 5 minutes after the last person left there was already a huge crowd sprinting towards the small bakery.

The first batch had probably already spread the word of mouth about the one free product day to all their relatives, friends, and neighbors resulting in this little tsunami. The shop was crowded once again, now much more than the first time, and after a while, everything was sold out. Raphaels' mouth twitched looking at the empty displays which he had worked so hard the whole morning to decorate. He went to close the bakery and announced that he was out of stock now to the people that still waiting for their turn.

"What, please isn't there anything left? It took me so much trouble to get here so fast please!" some people pleaded.

"You must have something at the back, right? You must, please give us one too, why can't we get one?" others argued a bit. But no one dared to make too much fuss in front of this "giant". They knew who they were and they knew that they could not mess with someone like Raphael but sometimes the emotions just couldn't be withheld and rashed out. Some younger ones even cried for losing such an opportunity.

Looking at those people, Raphaels' heart softened a little bit. He had the thaumometer propped on one of his eyes as a monocle which he thought was good to start with immediately. With its help, he could see various auras in existence and in these people, he only saw a dark aura of sadness and hopelessness.

"Heh, what can I do if not give?" Raphael sighed and muttered. He brought out an enormous basket full of bread. Enough for hundreds of people. He can only hope now that it will be enough because he plans to go somewhere soon.

"Hey, listen up, I will leave this basket here and everyone gets to take one, and no tomfoolery here, or else my horse will bite off your hand" Raphael spoke seriously after placing the basket.

"Y-you mean tackle or kick?" a man in the crowd asked. However, when they saw the "horse" that was brought out from the backyard, they quickly lost their questions. Raphael was not joking when warning them with Azrel but he also secretly told Azrel to take it easy and assess the situation too. For example, if a child gets here or something. Azrel was smart enough to know what his master wanted by now so he didn't need much explanation and started his shift as the guardian of the bread basket.

Raphael on the other side took another cart filled to the brim and walked away merrily in a certain direction.

The Giant and the Cart

Hey, there people.

Aah, I don't know why I'm making a Minecraft mod fanfic when I have never played said mods by myself. Originally I wanted to make five chapters at least but I fell into the mod pack rabbit hole for two whole days that left me with PTSD.

I feel like a sponge that forcefully absorbed more water than it could hold where water is another word for information. I will let my head calm down a little and continue writing. I hope it will get easier further down the road.

Oh, and please tell me your thoughts about the story. Do you like the pace? What about the writing? Did you notice how I connect the last and the first sentences of each chapter? I hope I can do better with your help and give people a wonderful story they can immerse and learn from.

Have a wonderful day/night, my readers!
