Chapter 25 Experiment 2-0-4
As Silver and Amber sat in the room relaxing Silver got a message from the same mysterious man who nearly killed him. Silver stared at the phone and read "I'm outside your door, I heard you survived." Silver glanced at the door and said "The lock broke yesterday, just come in." As the man walked into the room he stared at Silver and said "Your the first person to ever survive this procedure, are you ready to make a fortune?" Silver stared at him for a few moments and said "I figured you'd contact me, so I went ahead and got Jax to get me into their systems."
The man stared at Silver and smirked as he said "We don't need their systems, we already have everything we need." Silver held up a USB and said "They have a creature known as 2-0-4, it's one ugly son of a bitch and had been being worked on daily, it recently got completed." The man stared at Silver and said "Then you must know who its target is right?" Silver set the USB around and said "They've been targeting me recently, if I had to guess they're still after me."
The man nodded and said "Your the great assassin's apprentice, your all that can stop them and their biological creation." Silver stared at him and asked, "Are you just ignoring the military on purpose or is there something I don't know?" The man nodded and said Tomica Corp is an evil organization who has paid off the military using technology, and as you already know their technology is far superior to other companies' technology."
Silver stared at him and said, "So they're planning to overthrow the whole world with their technology?" The man nodded and said, "Yes, and I contacted you because I have some information about experiment 2-0-4." Silver stared at him and asked, "What about it?" The man stared at Silver and said "The creature is near indestructible, it's got metal under the flesh and nanotechnology inside of it that can regenerate it in under a minute." Silver smiled and said, "Then let's take care of this company so I can retire!"
The man tossed Silver a ball and said "Don't press that button or you'll kill us all." Silver barely managed to catch the ball as he asked "Why are you just casually throwing it then?" The man smiled and said, "That's because the creature is already here." As an explosion was heard in the distance Silver glanced at the window and said "That sounded like it came from Tomica Corp." Silver glanced at the man as he asked, "Is that the ugly thing?" The man nodded and said, "Yes, that would be the experiment, they're releasing it now."
Silver ran towards the window and seen that the creature was much larger now and had a more distinctive shape, much like a four-legged creature of some sort without a head. The creature grew a fifth limb and swatted through a building with ease as Silver mumbled "Dammit, the daycares aren't gonna be saved." Silver glanced at Amber and said, "Looks like your coming with me for this one, leaving you alone would be too dangerous." Amber walked towards the window and stood on her tippy toes peering out at the monster as she asked "I-is it gonna destroy the city?"
Silver lifted the mattress revealing a fifty-caliber sniper with explosive rounds as he said "Forget the city, it's gonna come after me so I have to deal with it in order to protect you." Silver pushed the door open while carrying the gun and said "Follow me to the roof, stay close behind me or I won't be able to protect you one hundred percent." As Amber followed him the man started smoking and said "The world is depending on you, don't fuck it up." As Silver and Amber arrived on the roof Silver glared at the creature and said "It's getting closer."
Amber stared at the destroyed building behind it and said "I-it must've killed so many people." As Silver laid down on the roof and set up the gun the creature grew a sixth arm and began to tear down even more buildings and claiming even more victims. Silver peered down the scope of the gun and said "Never would've guessed I'd see this ugly bastard again." As Silver pulled the trigger part of the creature blew off and chunks of it fell down to the ground below. Silver stared at it and said, "Hit it."
As the part Silver struck began to regenerate Silver mumbled "Shit, it's already healing?" Silver glanced at Amber and said, "I'm gonna move in closer, if you don't wanna come with me I'll let you stay behind, it might be safe here if I deal with it quickly." Amber stared at him for a few moments and then said "I-I... I wanna stay with you, so please take me with you!" Silver stared at her for a moment and said "I'm about to run headfirst into whatever the hell that thing is, so let me ask you again, are you sure you wanna go with me?" Amber stood there for a moment and just nodded.
Silver smiled and said, "Then let's get a move on and tackle this thing head-on!" Amber nodded and said, "O-okay, let's win and save the other people." As a familiar face peered at them from behind Thomas smiled and said "Looks like this story is coming to a close soon." Thomas glanced at the creature and said "I could probably make this a lot more interesting, but would the author be okay with it?" Thomas smiled and said, "You know what, who cares." Thomas snapped his fingers and split the creature into three all with the same size and abilities as the original.
Thomas walked towards Silver and Amber and said "Hiding myself is pretty useful." As Silver and Amber stared at the creature Silver shouted "It split?" Thomas smiled and said, "Now which one of my abilities shall I lend you?" Thomas's smile grew wider as he said "Yes this ability will work." Thomas glanced at the reader and said "No need to thank me, I just made this story more interesting and changed what should've been a bad ending." Silver froze for a moment and then grabbed Amber and jumped off the building onto another.
As they leaped a group of men carrying guns arrived on the roof. Thomas stared at them and said, "If I hadn't given him the ability to see what would've happened next Amber would've been shot to death." Thomas smiled and turned to the creatures as he said "Even I don't know how this will turn out now, although I suppose if I felt like knowing I could just peek into the future." Thomas sat on the ledge and said "Good luck, you'll need it because that hell that should've happened over time is all happening right now." Silver began to run across the roof towards the creatures while carrying Amber as he said "We're attacking now!"
Amber nodded and held onto him as he jumped off of another building and on top of one of the creature's arms. As the creature brought its arm above itself Silver tossed the ball down towards the creature after pressing the button. As the ball hit the creature it sunk into its skin and then caused the creature to explode and send parts of itself into every direction. As Silver landed on top of another one of the creatures he mumbled "I don't have anything for this!" Thomas stood on top of the creature patiently and said "This is taking too long."
Thomas sighed and said, "Fine I'll lend you some more of my abilities and lessen the amount of creatures." As he snapped one of the creatures disappeared and Silver now had a massive mechanical sword. Silver glanced at the sword and asked "What the hell is this?" Silver stared at it and tossed it aside while shouting a damn sword isn't gonna do me any good." Thomas stared at the sword and mumbled "I just gave you a sword that could've stopped that thing in one blow and you just tossed it." Thomas stared at Silver and asked, "Why am I even bothering to help you."
Silver glanced at Amber who was on his back and said "Hold on tight, I have an idea." Silver pulled a huge case of gun powered out from under his shirt and said "I can blow it up with this!" Thomas stared at it and said, "Not gonna work, that explosive is far too weak." Thomas snapped and said, "But we can make it stronger." Silver placed the bomb onto the creature's back and jumped off while holding a switch as he shouted watch out!"
Before he could hit the ground the bomb activated sending them both through a building and laying on top of rubble as Silver clutched Amber protecting her from the impact. As Thomas picked up his sword he glanced at the pieces of the monster and said "Guess they didn't need my help, although it would've been nice if he at least used the sword I gave him." Thomas picked up a part of the creature and said "Well I might as well take a piece of it, I might learn something from its chunkiness."
