Chapter 24.5 Christmas Cheer

As the half fox and human creature stepped through a portal wearing a Santa hat he yawned and said "Guess it's time for a Christmas story huh?" As he pulled out a phone he stared at it and said "What, I'm late?" The creature known as Thomas sighed and said "I'm gonna have to reverse time." Thomas glanced at the reader and put a blindfold on and put a finger up to his mouth while saying "This ability doesn't concern you."

Thomas began to swirl his hand around and said "Alakazam." As he removed the blindfold he stared at the reader and said "We're in the past now, hope you don't mind this being late." Thomas walked up to the hotel Silver and Amber were staying in and said "It's not every day I'm given permission to interact with the main character of the story." Thomas smiled and said, "Guess I'll make the most out of it." As he knocked on a door Silver and Amber glanced at it as Silver said "I shouldn't be expecting any visitors."

Silver walked towards the door and said "Maybe it's Wendy or Jax?" Silver opened the door and seen Thomas's tail and shouted "Another freak!" Silver began to rapidly pull the trigger while shouting "Amber run!" Thomas stood there while being shot and sadly said "I'm not a freak, that kinda hurts my feelings." Silver tossed the gun aside and swung a knife at his forehead as he shouted "Like hell, you aren't, only those metal freaks could be bulletproof!"

Thomas stood there as the knife bent on his head and said "Can you at least give me a second to explain." Thomas froze time and said, "Now that I think about it I probably should've mentioned that I made him forget about me last time we met." As time continued Silver backed away and said "Then start talking." Thomas nodded and said, "I'm just here for the Christmas special, I'm here to celebrate with you, I brought gifts and stuff too." Silver stared at him and asked, "How do I know you won't try anything."

Thomas tapped his forehead with an immense amount of speed and said "This should help you remember me for now." Silver stared at him and said, "You're the guy who led me to Amber." Thomas nodded and said, "Yeah that was me, sorry for doing this, the author would've been pissed off at me if I didn't put a story into motion that matched his script." Silver stared at him and said "Are you kidding, this is best for her, I should be thanking you... wait script, author?" Thomas glanced away and said, "You know what not important."

Thomas turned back to him and said "All you need to know is that I was given special permission to be here and when I leave you won't have any memories of it." Silver glanced at Amber and said, "Looks like he's safe, you don't have to worry." Thomas let out a sigh of relief and said "I'm glad I put up that soundproof barrier." Thomas smiled and said, "It's Christmas Eve, so why not celebrate with everyone." Thomas snapped his fingers and said, "It only makes sense that I bring the people here who have nothing else to do around this time of year."

After a few seconds, only Wendy appeared. Silver glanced at Thomas and asked, "Does she really have nothing to do around this time of year?" Thomas nodded and said "Afraid so, Jax and the others are spending time with their families." Wendy glanced around and said, "This isn't my dorm." As Silver approached her Thomas smirked and made a mistletoe appear above them and said "This will spike a festive mood." Amber glanced at him and asked, "How's it floating?" Thomas smiled and said "Just a little magic."

Amber stared at it and said, "I wanna fly too!" Thomas shrugged and said, "Really, that's a pretty basic thing for humans I guess." Thomas snapped and said, "Up up and away." Wendy glanced up at the mistletoe and nervously asked "D-did you plan this?" Silver glanced up at it and said "I didn't do that." Wendy leaned in and said, "Well, since we're already here... we might as well... right?" Silver stared at it for a few seconds and said "We don't have t-" as Wendy kissed him Amber passed over them flying through the room. Wendy took a step back and said "This is the best Christmas gift by far."

Thomas turned to the reader once more and said "Smile for for the camera." As Amber stood in front of Thomas he vanished and you could see Silver and Amber both blushing beside her slightly in the back around." Thomas appeared beside them once more and handed them the picture saying "If I were in the picture the author would get mad, so I'll skip out on this one." Thomas walked towards the door and said "Whenever you all wake up tomorrow it'll all seem like a dream." The view shifted to the door with Thomas smiling and saying "Pretty soon a new story will begin, I wonder if the author will make me show up again."
