Chapter 20 The Creature In The College

Silver stared at Wendy and said, "Just act like normal, if push comes to shove I'll deal with it." Wendy stared at him and asked, "But shouldn't you find out where the person is and deal with them." Silver stared at her and said, "I plan to, but if I act after getting a message it'll seem suspicious so I'll just wait another minute." Silver glanced at Amber and set down some cash on the table and said "In the meantime, though you two can order whatever you'd like."

As the three of them sat at the table in the maid cafe Silver glanced around and mumbled "I wish Jax would just send me an image of this thing, or at the very least describe it." Silver stared at them and said, "I'm gonna go now so just text me where you are in a bit." As Silver stood up two girls walked up to him holding a camera and a butler outfit. The two girls stared at him and glanced at one another as one of them said "He's a hot guy, maybe we should give him the outfit and take a picture." Wendy glanced at Silver and said, "Seeing you in a butler outfit would be quite the treat."

Silver glanced at Wendy and said "Very funny, but I'm kinda in a rush." The two girls handed him the outfit and said "Please put this on and let us take a picture with you." Silver stared at them and asked, "Why?" The two girls stared at him and said "We're a part of the cosplay club and are gathering pictures of people in outfits." Silver glanced around and asked, "Why can't you get pictures with some other guys." The girls stared at him and said "Because your hot and they're not."

Silver grabbed the costume and said, "College girls really don't sugarcoat the words they say." Silver glanced at the outfit and said "Fine I'll put it on for a bit but I'm still in a hurry." Wendy took her phone out and said "I've gotta get pictures of this." Silver walked behind a curtain in the room and began to change as he said "The last time I had to dress as a butler I poisoned some rich guy's drink." Silver pushed the curtain aside and asked "So how does it look?" Wendy began to take pictures while saying "It looks great." The girls stared at him and said "Somethings missing."

One of the girls stared at him and said "I know." The girl reached into her pocket and pulled out some hair gel as she said "I figured this would come in handy today, I even got made fun of for having it." The girl reached into the container and then slathered Silver's hair in gel and began to style it. After a few minutes, Silver's hair was going in various directions with most of it going straight up. Silver stared at them and asked, "Is this all?"

One of the girls handed him a fake cigarette and said "Now put this in your mouth and press the button on the side." As Silver pressed the button smoke came out from the other end. The girls pushed him towards a window and said "Now lean against it like those guys do in the movies." As Silver leaned against the window with his head tilted slightly back while staring off into the distance a crowd began to surround him and began to chat asking if it was some surprise performance from another club.

Silver just sat there by the window ignoring them as he thought to himself "Do they really think this cheesy get-up is cool?" As Silver sat there he glanced back at the crowd and said "I know you're in the crowd." Silver grabbed the fake cigarette from his mouth and said "I noticed you walk in a bit ago, you have a slit below your knuckles." As a blonde girl stepped out of the crowd she stared at him and said "So the rumors are true." Silver glanced at her and said, "Seems like Jax didn't have the right information, your not one of those ugly creatures."

The slit below the woman's knuckle revealed a sharp blade as she asked "Are you trying to hit on me." Silver quickly revealed a gun and held it a few inches from her face and asked "Shall we just get to the point?" The crowd fell silent for a moment and before asking one another "Did you hear anything about a movie in the area?" The creature glanced around the room and said "You have a daughter here, right?" Silver gripped the gun tighter and said "Get to the point."

The woman stared at him and said "Nothing much, but killing the white-haired reaper and then his kid would surely gain some popularity in the underground, not to mention the fortune Tomica Corp is offering for killing you since you survived the last incident." Silver grinned and said, "What can I say, I'm just one stubborn bastard who refuses to die." As Wendy and Amber pushed themselves to the front of the crowd the woman smiled and said "The girl is nearby." Silver glanced towards Amber and smiled as he said "You'd better kill me first because I'll kill you the first chance I get."

The woman swung the blade towards him and shouted "Go to hell!" As Silver leaned back out of the window her blade passed over him destroying a part of the wall. Silver kicked her and fell backward out of the window. Silver laid there on the ground for a moment and said "Shit, I forgot we were on the first floor." The woman's hand slapped the side of the window and pulled her head through staring down at him as she smiled and said "I've got you now."

As she slammed the sharp metal into the ground Silver flung his feet over his head and landed on his feet with the cigarette still in his mouth. Silver shot her in the arm and said "After this, I might need a real cigarette." As her arm began to heal Silver lowered his gun and said "You heal a lot faster than me." As She swung at him he ducked and overheard one of the kids ask "What kind of special effects are these?" Silver put the gun to her chin and said, "You weren't half bad at this job, but you should've picked an easier target."

Silver pulled the trigger and watched her head jolt back as pieces fell from the sky. Silver took the cigarette out of his mouth and watched as her head began to regenerate. Silver stared at her head in disgust and began to shoot it rapidly while saying "Trying to regenerate from that isn't gonna happen." Silver put the fake cigarette back in his mouth and aimed the final bullet at her heart while saying "With enough bullets, anything is killable."

Silver slowly lowered the gun and pushed on the back of his neck while saying "This job just isn't what it used to be, usually it was just to kill some guy who screwed someone else over, and now I'm killing mutants or some shit." Silver took the fake cigarette out and pressed the button to stop the smoke as he turned back to the window and stared at them for a few seconds. Silver took a bow and said, "All special effects were brought to you by the people of the cosplay club."

As the people began to cheer Silver glanced at her corpse and said "So this is gonna be the next generation of killers." Silver casually walked away as he said "I'm gonna have to step up my game so I can retire before these people show up everywhere." Silver walked back into the school and into the classroom. As Wendy glanced at him she asked "Why didn't you just climb back in through the window?" Silver pointed to the outfit and said "This isn't mine, and I already made it dirty and would feel even worse if I tore it."

Amber stared at him and said, "There is a lot of dirt on it." Wendy stared at him and said, "Ignoring the dirt, you brought a gun to my college." Silver glanced at her and said, "I actually bring two." Wendy sighed and said, "I'll forgive you on one condition." Silver stared at her and asked, "What is this condition?" Wendy pointed at the cat plushie Amber was holding and said "I want you to win one of those things for me too." Silver glanced at it for a moment and then turned back to her saying "If you wanted one you could've just asked."

As the two girls who forced Silver to wear the costumes approached him they said "Thank you for that performance, you can keep the outfit." Silver stared at the two girls and asked "Why don't you want the costume back?" The girl showed Silver a clip of the fight and said "Your a celebrity right now, someone streamed it and it became a huge hit." Silver glanced at the views and said "I wonder if Jax is gonna be able to cover this up?" The girls glanced at him and said "This was live-streamed two minutes ago, it was estimated to be at at least ten million views by tomorrow morning!"
