Chapter 3

As John and Sasha approached the beach they were met with rays of sunlight and sounds of soothing ocean water rolling in with the gentleness of a kitten purring.

Sasha held her Minelab detector tight to her body, guarding it, respecting it. John carried all the other supplies along with his Garrett detector although he was struggling to manage the precise protection and respect as Sasha.

They walked carefully with determination but also a sense of relaxation. The beach was the perfect spot to unwind and forget about the troubles of the world for a few hours.

Checking the map, "Daddy, it's about twelve steps over there. The hot zone. The spot where I KNOW the treasure is."

John juggled a few items in an attempt to not drop his detector, "Well my love, lead the way."

Sasha analyzed the map she had marked yup and made her prediction on. She counted aloud each step until she knew the spot was directly under her white tennis shoes.

John stopped her, noticing the loose sand floating with every step, "Come here Sasha. I have an idea to keep us from getting filled up with sand."

She agreed and stepped out of the imaginary circle. Something happened when she did this. She

felt an energy pulling her back. Something she had never felt before.

Quickly getting to her father, "Hurry Daddy. I am positive now that we are on the right spot."

John taped the tops of both of their socks with skin friendly colorful tape, "I hope you're right kiddo. Let's make history." He proceeded to check their shoes, nice and tight.

Sasha approached the spot again, easier this time because she was being assisted by some sort of energetic force.

Her face lit up as she powered on her metal detector. Every signal and symbol on the machine lit up. The detector alert tone was going insane, sounding off like a group of baby birds when their mother returned with some delicious worms.

It was time to dig and see what was there.
