Chapter 12

In an entirely new world just a few steps away from the real world, Sasha melted at the sight of a gorgeous orange tiger coming from the trembling bush.

Noticing her, "Sasha dear, welcome to paradise."

The tiger's speech was muffled as he had something in his mouth that was struggling to free itself.

It became apparent what, or I should say, who it was, "Little help, Ehhh?"

Sherlock the Parrot had managed to become a potential tasty snack for the magical tiger on this magnificent island in the top of the family shed.

Sasha raised a finger and waved it at the tiger, "Tiger, tiger, tiger, you need to let my friend go. He's not a snack."

The orange beast seemed surprised, "The name is Timothy. I am a predator and a carnivore, I eat meat, especially birds."

Not wavering from her stance, "Regardless, you need to release Sherlock dear Timothy. It would mean the world to me."

Timothy the tiger released Sherlock with some hesitation and laid on his back in what appeared to be a depressed state.

Sherlock worked on straightening his feathers, "Thanks Sasha. What do you, Ehhh, think of this place?"

A smile consumed her face, "It's absolutely fantastic. The sand, the waves, the trees, the…tiger, it's all mind blowing."

Finishing his grooming from the potential maiming that had occurred, "Well, this is, Ehhh, just a taste of what, Ehhh, you have discovered and, Ehhh, the powers you now have."

In the distance, miles out in the water, a pod of dolphins could be seen gliding in and out of the water. They leapt from the water and landed with a satisfying splash.

Timothy purred sending vibrations through the entire area. Sherlock trembled a bit, fearing that he was back on the menu. That wasn't the case.

Sasha had complete control over what happened, when it happened, and how it happened. It was certainly a lot of power for a ten year old but it was quite possibly her destiny.

Sherlock perched himself on Sasha's shoulder as she descended the stairs to go check on her family.

The entire family was still outside grouped together waiting for Sasha to reappear.

What she found was a touch different than she expected.
