Chapter 2

Jace POV

I woke up to my secretary call

"Mr Norman the plan didn't go through, as the man didn't budge he still insists on publicizing the photographs "she said

"Okay give me a minute I'll try to get it sorted out and also cancel all my appointments for today i told her.

Why wouldn't this man leave me alone I muttered as i made my way into the bathroom, while taking my bath I remembered what happened.

Flashback

I was in the club, it was Ricky birthday my cousin we were out celebrating drinking and having fun. Some ladies were sitting opposite us and we hit it off instantly,i had danced quite intimately with a lady I can't remember, some pictures got taken and now i had to make sure it didn't get to the public, I really like my private life.

I got dressed and called my secretary, sarah send his location to me i said. i called Bruce my middleman and told him to meet me at the address i was going to send to him,

"I'm going to handle it my way i told him"

I looked at my phone and got the information needed to trace him of which I forwarded to bruce.

I headed downstairs towards my car and drove to Armstrong street,getting there I decided to stay somewhere till i got to see the photographer, i looked around and saw a coffee shop i parked my car and strolled into the coffee shop.

I sat in the coffee shop for some minutes before seeing the man, I grabbed my phones and got up to leave but instead a girl threw a cup of coffee on my clothes, i glanced to see if i could see the photographer, but he was gone i was raging with anger, looking at my shirt i was soaked with coffee.

The more they apologized the more furious i was, i looked at the girl how can someone be this beautiful yet so dumb i asked myself before storming out of the place.

Back to Kimberly's Pov

Kimberly POV

I couldn't believe what i heard, i ran quickly to meet the manager,

"Mike please you can't possibly fire me. you know how much i need this job "

He looked at me and said

"Kim do you know who that man is?"

He asked,

"No I don't I replied him and looked at him still pleading

"if it were anyone else I would ignore it but you spilled coffee on Jace Norman, the coffee shop would probably get bad reviews over this, please understand me" I'll hire you again if you manage to convince him to come back here."i walked out of the coffee shop feeling dejected, it was really an honest mistake that I believed anyone would make, how was I supposed to know he was the one and only Jace Norman

I sighed and walked back home, this is crazy how was I supposed to know that it was him

 I got home and took a long shower,

Now how was I supposed to get jace Norman I've only heard of him I haven't seen him until today i thought to myself, I stepped out of the bathroom brought out my pyjamas tied my hair in a ponytail and picked up my phone. I texted Lisa and she called me immediately while narrating the whole Incident to her.

"Kim its going to be alright she said to me, it was a mistake and mike shouldn't have fired you for a such she said to me Thank you lisa, we'll speak tomorrow, alright kim we will see at school tomorrow.

      As i laid down thinking of all my expenses, i just couldn't help but cry. I am  a scholarship student but i still had to worry about my expenses, I couldn't depend on my parents as they were not so rich. I knew how hard it was to get through high school and how my parents struggled to help me , I cried myself to sleep.

I woke up,showered and left for school

After class,i waited in the cafeteria for lisa,i saw her walking towards me with mason,apparently they had started dating

Hi babes,hi mason i said Lisa reached out and pulled me in an embrace, it's going to be fine baby girl. I smiled and pulled back

Mason asked me what was wrong and i gave him a full explanation, oh! He said " "I'm sorry you had to loose your job but i can help you if you don't mind.

   Of course I don't mind i said, he then went on to tell me how i could meet jace Norman, i was elated.

The  next morning i set out to jace's company, i was amazed by how beautiful and well structured it was. I made my way to the entrance and spoke to the security men, they weren't going to let me in I pleaded and explained how urgent it was for me to see him.

    A blonde beautiful lady came over "frank what's going on here" she turned and asked me how can i help you, I immediately explained to her she smiled and beckoned on me to follow her

Mr Norman isn't around but if you don't mind you can wait to see him i nodded as we arrived at what seemed to be a waiting room.

   I gently too a seat and waited for what seemed like hours but he eventually came

"Sarah i want those files immediately"

I shivered at the sound of this voice, i could see all the workers focused. I could hear his footsteps, i could hear him yelling. I knew he wasn't in a good mood, i choose the wrong day to come i muttered .

He came into the room heading towards his office,he glanced briefly at me and he looked away. I let out my breath i didn't even realize i was holding my breath,

I waited for what seemed like forever before i was called into his office. I stepped in and noticed he was on a call, i took a look at the room, everything looked so expensive it was surprisingly calm and peaceful in the room, i quietly took my seat and waited till he was done.

  He was done with the call and was now facing me his eyes were more captivating, his chiseled jaws giving him a more defined look and his really expensive suit

It could pay my salary for a year I thought to myself

   "Take a picture it last longer" i gulped hard as he said that. How can i help you miss... Blake i interrupted quickly, I'm really sorry

   Get to the point I don't have all day,I flipped , this man was really intimidating, I'm sorry mr norman, i am the lady who spilled coffee on you yesterday and i got fired, the manager of the coffee shop said i could only get rehired if you forgave me and came back to the shop

He looked at me 'you've got to be kidding me, you're wasting my time on such a silly thing after ruining in my day

  Sarah!! He called out, get this lady out of here, i have no interest in this.
