Chapter 1

It was a sunny afternoon, i was busy reading my books and Lisa banged the door multiple times yup,thats my bestie

i ran as fast as i could from my bedroom hastily dragging a top over my head.

"I'm coming "

i screamed at the door. I let her in looking at her she was dressed gorgeously.

Lisa has always been a beauty guru, with her long blonde hair graciously flowing behind her and her bright blue eyes shinning, and her long legs with the perfect shape, . She just seemed to get it right.

She settled into the couch, I noticed she was dressed rather too pleasantly for someone coming to see me so i asked. "Whats the occasion?"She smiled and blushed

"i am going out on a date with mason" she says and I squealed with delight, she's always had such a huge crush on Mason and now he's finally asked her out

"why didn't you tell me earlier "I asked

She smiled shyly " I didn't know how to, but how do you think i look"

I took a second look at her "girl, Mason isn't going to be able to take his eyes off you, but how can you not tell me uh" i pouted

"I'm sorry, but now you know" She smiled and blushed deeper on hearing my compliment "I'll be out in a minute, he's picking me up"

I smiled and walked her to the door blowing air kisses, i watched as she hopped into the car that pulls up on the driveway

I felt sad for myself, i am Kimberly Blake I'm 5'2ft, hazel eyes with a plump lips. I have a dark long brown natural curly hair, i am a 21 year old college student i have no social life. Single with no hopes of getting a boyfriend sad right, yes i know that too i sighed as I grabbed a bottle of water and went back to my room.

I spent the whole day reading as my final exams were approaching, well at least I won't have to worry about college after my graduation i said.

The next morning as my alarm went off I quickly went into the shower, i had a cold bath and brought out a faded jeans and a white top, tied my hair into a bun and made my way to the door. Oh my car keys i hurriedly grabbed then from the table and ran out. I made my way into my car and drove

I parked my car and made my way to class, I checked my time and my mouth went all o,"shit miss Candice would be so mad, I would not live this one out at all"

I rushed into the classroom and stopped as soon as i saw Miss Candice very annoying face staring straight into my beautiful face

Groaning internally, i mentally face palmed myself

"Why are you coming to class so late Kim?" Miss Candice asked me and i seemed not to be able to talk,

"I'm really sorry miss" I apologized and she looks at me again, gesturing for me to sit down with the rest of the students ,

I took a seat and tried so hard to focus on what she was saying but at a particular point i zoned out

"Miss Blake, can you give an example?" Miss Candice asked and i wanted the ground to open up and swallow me, its like this she-hulk has something against me

I stood up and made a total fool of myself

Stupid miss Candice and her stupid question

Well the lecture seemed to last forever but it eventually came to an end,

Gosh i was starving. I made my way into the cafeteria trying to get a glance at Lisa then I saw her waving her hands trying to get my attention,

"hey lover girl" i said as i slid into the empty seat opposite her. she blushed and giggled , she's blushing and also giggling, it must have been one hell of a date looked at her waiting fir her to spill the tea, but she looked like she wasn't going to say anything

"Well, I'm waiting, I don't have all day ma'am " i tell her growing tired of waiting

okay okay I'll tell you all about it,

then she went on about how mason treated her like a princess and how happy she was, i was genuinely happy for her.

The day went by quickly and i was at work, oh yes i work to support myself and my parents. I work in a coffee shop to support myself so I don't have to ask my parents for money

"Yes Mr Harry your order would be ready soon, " i smiled sweetly at the old man i have known to be a regular customer

i went over to give Mr Harry his order, I stumbled and it fell on a man's clothe. A man's expensive clothe let me add

Shit shit shit, you're so dumb Kimberly

I stood up slowly,and gradually apologizing to the man whom i just spilled coffee on, i clumsily tried to clean his clothes but i made even more of a mess.

Looking at the man who was yelling at me, i was stunned he was the most beautiful man i had ever seen, with his dark short hair, his eyes were so green I couldn't look away. I stared deeply into his eyes and i was mesmerized by it, this man had to be 6'5ft tall I thought.

I suddenly became aware of my surroundings, the manager of the coffee shop came over apologizing profusely to the man but he wasn't having it. The man stormed out of the cafe, my manager looked at me "What the hell Kim, how could you spill coffee on him, just know that you're fired.

I know I should've been more careful but did it have to get me fired

I couldn't comprehend what i just heard

Did i just get fired i asked myself.
