Meeting the Strength of Balram

The doors of Krishna's chambers opened on their own. A man with a towering frame and an aura that seemed to radiate raw power entered the room. His presence was imposing, almost overwhelming. Arjun felt a chill run down his spine, as if the very air had grown heavier.

Krishna laughed and clapped Arjun on the back. "Don't be intimidated, Arjun. This is my elder brother, Balram." He turned to Balram, who stood with his arms crossed, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Balram, this is Arjun. He's new to our world."

Balram's intense gaze softened slightly as he regarded Arjun. "Welcome, Arjun," he said in a deep, resonant voice. "Any friend of Krishna's is a friend of mine."

Krishna quickly explained the situation to Balram, summarizing Arjun's unexpected arrival and the mystery of his concealed aura. As he spoke, Arjun couldn't help but marvel at Balram's presence.

"Balram," Arjun began hesitantly, "if you're older than Krishna, you must have already taken the magic level test. What is your magic level?"

Balram shrugged modestly. "It's not too much. Just Maharaja level 1."

Arjun's eyes widened in shock. "Maharaja level 1? That's one of the highest ranks!"

Krishna laughed, shaking his head. "Magic level is just an intrinsic measurement, Arjun. It needs to be worked upon and trained to unleash its full potential, i mean anyone can perform basic magic like levitating a glass, but several other skills, especially fighting skills need to be learnt. A well-trained Raja can easily defeat a rookie Maharaja. Balram has just joined the Gurukul, our magic academy, where he will hone his skills."

"In fact the determination of magic level does not only signify there strength comparison, i mean there are types in mage's, such as someone's dominant type is strength amplification, someone's might be spells or weaponry etc. In fact there are a lot of types. Take Balram for example, his dominant type is strength even without training, he can lift about 2000kg with his bare hands if he wants(obviously cause he is a MAHARAJA....) ."

Still, Arjun was stunned. He was standing beside someone who belonged to one of the highest ranks in the magical hierarchy. The realization made his head spin. "So, you're not the strongest in the state?" he asked, his voice tinged with awe.

Balram smiled. "Not yet. There are many factors at play. Skill, experience, and the ability to harness and control one's magic are just as important as the level itself. But with time and training, who knows?"

Arjun nodded, trying to process everything. This world was far more complex and layered than he had ever imagined.

After the initial shock of meeting Balram wore off, Krishna and Arjun settled back into their discussion about the magical world. Arjun was filled with curiosity and amazement, his mind brimming with questions about the different classes, the magical hierarchy, and the intricate societal structure.

Krishna was patient, answering each question with enthusiasm. "Generally, mages have to report any irregularity to the WMA," Krishna said, his tone becoming more serious. "But since you're my friend now, I'll let you stay until you see my magic level test, and you can see my greatness, said Krishna with a wink. Then, I'll report it and get you sent back, if you want???????."
