Chapter 15: Stop pushing me!

"Not even a bit Asmodeus! Be happy we don't have to look after them!"

"I guess you are right! Oh well, let's hurry!"

"Are sure that it wasn't just someone getting tortured?„

"And how would you know Rose? For all we care, someone could really be in danger!!"

"Calm down Emily, maybe Rose is right, and we are getting worked up for nothing, right?"

"Be quiet!"

"But-"

"He is right Emma, Emily, we have to be quite, due to the fact that we don't really know what is going on, we have to maintain our position a secret, or we just might be done for."

"But it's not fair."

"Nothing is ever fair, but we have to accept the reality and go on. Now be quiet."

"Fine!"

"Ok."

"Good."

We have been walking around for a while, but we can't hear anything anymore. It's like everything stopped better said, it's like time stopped, and we are the only ones moving. But we know better than to believe this due to the fact that there is that feeling of being watched and hunted. We haven't heard anything from anyone. Neither from those three nor from Lucifer and the rest. Something is wrong. And as much as Emma and Emily would like for the two of us to just leave through a portal, I fear the fact that the thing that it's inside the castle or the things, will just take the opportunity to jump with us through it as well. I am not afraid for myself due to the fact that I know how to fight. But because there is not even a clue to point us on the right way and to help us guess what we might stand against then I'd rather not take any chances and put Emily and Emma in danger.

Leviathan also looks to be frustrated and on the edge, which could also mean the fact that there isn't even the tiniest sign from anyone nor that he knows what we are up against.

"Stop pushing me!"

"I am not pushing you Emm. I am almost literally walking next to you."

"Could you two-"

"Leviathan?"

"What?"

"Can you hear it?"

"Hear wha-..... Damn it!"

"Emily, Emma, please remain calm. Emma, please come holding Emily by the hand before Rosemary."

"Okay..."

"Sure..."

"Ready kiddo?"

"I was born ready!"

"Alright! At 3! 3, 2, 1 now!"

I turned around the moment Emily passed last and used all my force to kick the one standing behind them. After kicking it, I remained stunned. The thing standing before me, was nothing else than a monster and a freshly made one judging from its appearance.

"Ummm...."

"Leviathan?"

"What?"

"..."

"There is a shadow behind you..."

"Damn it!"

"Okay. Change of plans. Rosemary!"

"Yes?"

"Take a peek at the ceiling!"

"Okay?"

Well, not the best time to look up to study the ceiling. Over my head looking down on me, was another set of ten creepy monsters. And guess what? It seems like the boss is the one hanging right over my head. Oh, how lucky I am, aren't I?

"Well... Do you wish for an answer?"

"How many?"

"Ten more and he is hanging over my head."

"..."

"Emily, Emma you are to stand back to back and glued to us as well. We can't afford to let one of them slip between us, or better yet, fall between us."

"Okay. Come on Emm. I'll stay back to back with Leviathan. You will hug me while keeping Rose glued to your back."

"Okay."

Now then. You might be wondering, what does these monsters look like. Well they are literally decaying corpses with skin peeling off of them and all kinds of bugs in and on them. They are cowered in dried blood, mud, dust and even spiderwebs.

And whatever you might be thinking, no, they don't make even a sound. Creepy, isn't it? Just imagine meeting one of these things, and worst of all, they are always made with a special enchantment to be almost impossible to kill. I mean seriously dude. Isn't it enough that they were hard enough to get rid of? Now it will be almost impossible to do so. And guess what? The only demon in this castle with the ability to probably get rid of them is Lucifer due to the fact that he could use hellfire to burn them to ashes. But guess what? Leviathan hasn't been able to get through to him in the past 30 minutes that we have been fighting these things. So we might be on our own

"Rose?"

"Yes Emily?"

"Maybe your affinity could work?"

"It could, but it is sealed and also, as well as it could work, it could also backfire."

"She is right Emily. It could backfire quite bad. Due to the fact that she would have to use it under stress and also while having to fight..."

"I know, but it may be our only solution."

"Tsk... Leviathan, could you buy me ten minutes?"

"What for?"

"I have an idea."

"Fine. Though I can promise only five, but I'll try to hold them froze more."

"Thanks!"

"Rose?"

"Don't worry Emm! Everything will be fine."

"Okay."

"But what do you have planned Rose?"

"You shall see in due time Emily."

Now then. If I remember correctly, the strategists of the Paradise said that as long as I really have a strong will, then my sigils will be broken by it, but I will have to be careful due to the fact that once they are broken then my powers could backfire and hurt me without me even using them, so I would have to keep my guard up at all times.

Let's hope that that ability will help so that I won't have to break those sigils. Because I couldn't care less about these ones, but those are another level. My affinity is one in a million, but it can also kill me in mere seconds. Let's just hope for the best scenario.
