Their first reaction out of their reflex was to rush out and jump into the pond to drag the two children who were struggling in the water.
When they relaxed, Wei Feng looked at Chun Xuan. Little Chun Xuan knows the meaning of this look. It's a look of inquiry.

While the mother and daughter were having their moment, the boy Wei Wan Qing brought out of the water was trembling because of the cold and the fear of getting scolded by his dad. As expected soon the man started upbraiding him.
"What did you think you are doing? Don't you know how dangerous that is for you? Why did you get in the water? Don't you know how important to me?"

While Wan Qing was still talking, a bawling was heard attracting the attention of the ladies. The first thought that Wei Feng thought was that Wan Qing is beating the child. But on second thought, the boy's behavior reminded of her something else. She had seen her third aunt taking care of special children. That made her guess his condition. She turned to look at Chun Xuan requesting her to go talk with the boy. In reality, Chun Xuan is a protective and possessive child who likes to have her mother all for herself. Hence she was not expecting much.
For some reason, to her surprise, Chun Xuan nodded. When she got the approval, Wei Feng strode to Wan Qing's side who was struggling to understand and calm the child.
"Mr. Wei", Wei Feng called calmly. He didn't respond and was still talking with the child again. "Wei Wan Qing?", She called and rested her hands on his shoulder. He turned around because of the touch. Wei Feng signaled him to move aside.
She squatted down and brought herself to the eye level of the boy. She didn't talk, she took another closed look at the boy. The boy's eyes juggled between the pond and Wan Qing's shoes. She gently extended her left hand in front of the boy. It took a minute for the boy to give his little hand to her extended hand. Wei Feng shook his hand. Seeing this, Chun Xuan came and hugged Wei Feng's neck showing that Wei Feng belongs to her. Wei Feng simply smiled at the girl's action. After all, she was once the same as Chun Xuan.
After letting the boy calm down and is adopted to her presence, Wei Feng gently pulled the boy near her. She still has a slight hesitance and doubt as she is not sure that what she is doing is right. All she remembers is that her Third aunt always use these steps to calm the children who were uncomfortable when coming to meet her for the first time. But she also knows that one wrong move will trigger the child's condition extremely. She hid the doubt and hesitation and tried to hug the boy.
The boy didn't ripple her movement and rested his head on her shoulder. Wan Qing who moved aside was greatly stunned. He knows his son well than anyone else. A child who can't interact with anyone else is now leaning on her. Maybe he was right for falling in love with her since they first met. She can bring in the warmth of a family that he never experienced and has never been able to give to his son.
After sensing the even breath from the little cherub, she started to talk, " What should I this little cutie pie?"
" You shouldn't call me a cutie pie. Call me Handsome.", the boy said under one's breath.
" Ohh, Your name is Handsome. Okay, I will call you handsome."
" My name is not Handsome, I am handsome.", the boy uttered with a whimper
"That's what I am saying, I will call you handsome, Handsome.", Wei Feng, pulled her childish silly jokes on him again.
" Are your language processing ability that weak? I am not named Handsome. What I mean is I look handsome. So don't call me a cutie pie.", The boy told off her.
" Little friend, Yes you are handsome, but in a cute way. " Okay, So now tell me what's your name." Wei Feng asked.
" Wei Han Ying.", The boy told her shocking Wan Qing. This is Han Ying's longest conversation with others apart from him.
"Wei Feng, How did...", Wan Qing opened his mouth to ask but stopped after seeing the halt sign Wei Feng showed.
" So, Darling, Tell me what happened? Why did you fall in the water?" Her question suddenly put the boy who just returned to normal frozen for a moment.
Soon the boy's eyes were filled with mixed emotions. He lowered his head. Seeing him in this condition, Wei Feng placed her hand on the boy's shoulder and pulled him closer to her. She was prepared for rejection. But The boy simply let her pull him closer. For some reason, the boy could feel a sense of warmth in the place she touched. This sense calmed his heart, which is having indescribable chaos.
He lifted his head again to look at her face. Her slightly plump face was glowing and shining in front of his eyes but he was drawn towards her eyes. The little boy has never seen such beautiful eyes. The eyes smiled radiantly. With reluctance, he pulled his line of sight and turned towards Wei Wan Qing who is at the side with a look of doubt.
Wei Wan Qing who traced the question the boy was asking nodded slightly.
Soon, the lost puppy buried it's head on We Feng's shoulder.Seeing that Han Ying has calmed down and is not ready to talk, Wei Feng by passed the topic.
" Han Ying, Shall we go change your clothes?", Wei Feng asked.
" I can change my clothes by myself.A girl can't watch me change clothes.", the boy replied hurriedly.
With a chuckle, " I mean, You go change your clothes while I go change mine.", Wei Feng explained.
When the boy nodded, The duo walked into the other side of the building hand in hand, Leaving
the two figures sulking.
Wei Wan Qing turned around to look at Chun Xuan who was drying her legs and sighed.
" Do you want me to help you change?"
The girl didn't replied but simply stared at him.
" They went in and you and me are left behind.", Wan Qing explained.
" Not us, just you.", Chun Xuan replied as she walked towards the door.
" What?"
" It's just you who is abandoned.Our family still has me. She called me when she went in. I am just hesitated as my feet were a bit dirty.", The girl ran inside with her little foot hoping and calling Wei Feng.
" Abandoned???Was I??? When was I abandoned?", Wan Qing was too lost in little girl's words. But he didn't forget to march towards the door to catch up with the family that abandoned him. But his heart is filled with a indescribable satisfaction.
