As the altitude of the plane Yu Yan was riding became lower and lower. Her heart seems to pound more and more. She was finally back. After five years of living abroad, she was finally back in her beloved country.

As soon as she graduated from Juilliard, she wanted to come back to this country. However, her mother went out of her to arrange competitions and concerts for her so she had no choice but to stay. She has spent countless of hours playing the piano, may it to practice or perform in concerts and competition but she never complained about it.

She thought at the end of the day it will all be worth it. Her parents will be proud and of course once she is recognised as one of the best, she will be able to suit brother Li Jun. That's why even if she practiced day and night, missed meals and sleep, let her arms and hand go numb until she can't practice anymore, it will definitely be worth it.

She graduated the top of her class, and finished her course earlier than expected. After that she spent two years fighting her way to become the best pianist and was recognised for it. She was the best in her generation. And now that she have achieved that, she now wants to go back and take her place in Li Jun's side.

As the plane landed, Yu Yan jumped up her seat, even before the pilot announced the safety belt to be taken off.

"Ma'am please stay seated until the seatbelt lights are off."

"Oh, sorry. " she said as she smiled.

She quickly sat again feeling shy that the flight attendant reprimanded her. She was just so excited that she'll finally see everyone she left behind. As soon as the seatbelt light went off, she fought her way out amidst the pool of people trying to get their luggage out of the compartment bin.

As quickly as her feet can bring her, she went to the arrivals area. She didn't care how out of breath it made her. She was looking for her family but to her disappointment they did not come. But her disappointment quickly pass. Her parents were always busy. She had gotten used to this side of them so she sucked up her dismay.

To her surprise, Li Jun was there. Her eyes lit up at the sight of him, he was here for her. She was happy that the first person she saw at her arrival was Li Jun. She pasted a big smile as she walked towards him. As she got closer, she saw a girl beside him that was also smiling at her.

"Meixue you came? I missed you!" Yu Yan exclaimed as she embraced the girl. Tang Meixue was their childhood friend. Though she was the child of one of the servants in the Li residence, they all grew up together thus became closer to one another.

"It's been a while Yan'er, how are you?" Li Jun spoke as he drew her to his embrace.

Growing up with them, Yu Yan knew that Li Jun doesn't give any meaning by hugging her but her heart never seemed to listen as it pounded, as if it wants to get out of her chest. Her only thought as she hugged him back was, I hope he doesn't feel it.

"I'm finally back. I'm finally here where I belong. " she said while closing her eyes to bask in his warmth.
