"There was this lady that held the crystal today when I almost lost it, it glitters"

He was sure it glitters when she held it

Ariana was busy with her work at the bar, men kept winking at her, she ignored them but a good-looking man walked towards her, he was smiling at her.

"Hi"

"Hello what is your order sir?"

"Am not here for a drink, you must be Ariana Albert?"

"How do you know me?" shocked

"Well, am Eric lance a family friend who is here to help you"

"Help? I don't need any"

"Ariana! Don't you remember me?"

"I don't"

"Come it's me the boy who lived next door back then in California, remember hitting me with a chair when we first met, you thought I was a thief trying to break in"

"Ohhhh my goodness!" she screamed as she hug him but pull away immediately

"Why are you here?"

"Am here to help you from Orlando"

"No Eric I won't let you do that, it's too risky and he is a very dangerous man"

"But troy sent me"

"I know he is a good guy but he is better off without me, I don't want any other bloodshed again Eric don't you get it"

"Trust me"

"Someone died trying to save me from him"

"What if I pay him the money? Will he let you go?"

"It's a huge amount"

"Pray tell"

"Orlando will soon be here please leave, he mustn't see you"

She never knew Troy would keep sending people to rescue her from Orlando when he clearly knew how futile it would be.

She sighed in relief when Eric left but was stunned when she saw him walking back in with Orlando who had a serious look, from all indication he looked pissed from whatever Eric must have said to him

Life hasn't been easy for me ever since I met Orlando, he might be a gangster but he has a good heart too

"ARIANA!"

"Or…."

"You are free" he muttered between his breathe

"Free?"

I was in a daze when he utter those statement but I could clearly see the sadness in his eyes, he doesn't want to let me go but how could it be possible?

What did Eric tell him?

Orlando has been very possessive of me ever since the arrangement but now he is letting me go, am sure Eric must have paid something huge that's why he decide to give me back my freedom in return

"You may go now"

"Thank you Orlando for everything" I held his chin and smile at him brightly

"You are welcome" pushed her hand away as he left

Kellen took Leah out for shopping for the weekend when they return home they were surprised to see jean

She look so shattered and miserable while waiting for them at the stairs

"What are you doing here?"

"Leah"

"Get out"

"I have no place to go"

"What about your lover?"

"He left he doesn't love me it was all pretence"

"What does that got to do with an old quack daughter, leave or I will call the police"

There was a sudden flash before my eyes I could see Ariana in danger a man was pointing a gun at her

When I get to see his face I gasp in shock.

What does he want from Ariana?

What is happening but before I knew it the vision went blank and then I felt kellen tapping me and had a worried expression

"Leah, my goodness are you alright?"

"Am sorry but there is a place I need to go"

"Am coming with you" she grab my hand and held it tightly

"Okay, can you call nick? I want to know if he is at home"

She didn't question me instead she obeyed but he wasn't picking and then I tracked his location he is in Ariana's house

"Christ"

I was already teary

How can I tell Tyler that I couldn't protect his sister?

"Damn it!"

I drove too fast and kellen was scared she kept screaming and begging me to stop but I told her that I will explain everything to her once I save Ariana

"Leah stop it, you might get us both killed"

"I rather die than watch Nick kill her, I need to save her life. He longs for his family kellen you won't understand"

"You have gone insane Leah"

Leah stop the car abruptly in front of Ariana's house, she saw Nick car packed there as well

"Leah, how on earth did you know?"

"Just trust me kel, am not insane all I told you is the truth"

"About your adventure into another world?"

She didn't reply as she ran in and find Nick pointing a gun at Ariana who was trembling in fear

"Nick"

"How?"

"Is this how you are going to reward me of my kindness" Ariana said in disappointment when she saw Leah

"Nick let her go!"

"Get out of here or I shoot"

"I won't let you hurt her"

I was running towards them when someone hit me from behind, I fell down but luckily kellen held me in her arms. I stare at the crystal ball that he insist Ariana should hold, I was losing my consciousness as I grab kellen tightly and whispered

"Please save her I beg you"

"Leah"

Kellen was staring at Nick who was glaring at his mother and then to Ariana who was scared as hell, this guy is definitely not the Nick I know, something seems off

"Nick, please listen to me"

"Stay out of these kellen unless you want to end up like Leah"

"Damn you"

There was a flash, the crystal was glittering bright as Ariana held it, Nick pushed Ariana into the crystal as he went in along with his mother

What on earth is going on?

Where did they vanish to?

Why on earth did Leah want me to save that girl

I wasn't thinking straight when I entered the still glittering crystal

Everywhere was dark and we seem to be in a forest but how the hell did we end up in a forest

Could it be Leah was right?

I was trembling in fear when I heard some strange noise around me

Lord, please save me and forgive me my sins!

I was praying really hard, I shouldn't have listened to Leah but funny enough I did

"Where the hell is this?" Ariana asked in fear

"Mom, what should we do?"

"Search for him"

"This is not a good idea I think we should go back"

He turn to leave but the light suddenly went off, the wind was blowing harshly and they felt chilled to their bones, kellen and Ariana were clinging to each other while Nick was trying to protect his mom from whatever that must be coming their way

"The devil is here" She said while trembling in fear

"What?" they all said in unison

"Let's hide else we die!"

"Why bring me here, what crime have I committed? All I ever did was to save that wench from dying" She cried bitterly

"Shut up and hide"
