The emotions

Ariana could feel Tyler's gaze on her, she kept avoiding him even when he tried talking to her. She felt his arms around her shoulder when a lady almost bumped into her.

"You should becareful" holding her protectively 

"Thank you" pushed his hands away

"You should stop avoiding me Anne"

"Why did you keep calling me Anne, my name is Ariana"

"Whatever" shrugged his shoulder 

She wanted to laugh but didn't because she is afraid of getting close to him, she was surprised when he stopped by the jewelries shop, he was holding out a necklace.

Why does this look so familiar? Why does it feel like I have been here before?

Hey, Anne come try this. It will suit you

I could hear the voice, then he smiled at me and repeat the same words I just heard from my head

"Hey, Anne come try this. It will suit you" 

She went shocked at his statement, she wondered if she is capable of reading minds. He put the necklace around her neck as they both stare into the mirror, looking carefully at the mirror she could see the little resemblance when he smile, it was just like hers, those striking dimples and the icy blue eyes it look similar to hers but not the same, he is too good looking that's why he isn't human.

"What do you think? It's pretty right?"

"Yes" confused

"Are you alright?"

"Am fine"

She stare at their image on the mirror, this man definitely knew something and he is hiding it from her, she must find out what he is hiding no matter how long it takes.

Kellen couldn't believe Tyler was flirting with Ariana right in the presence of leah who seems to be unbothered by them. If she is not mistaken leah look happy seeing those two acting with affection, why will she be so comfortable with another woman being close to her husband. Isnt she afraid of loosing him or is she comfortable with him having another woman beside her

"You said she is someone that has something to do with this world" curiously 

"Why the sudden question?"

"Am curious, your husband seems to like her and you are not even bothered by it" blurt out

"Come on kel, my husband is very faithful to me"

Am sorry kel, I can't tell you who she really is towards him. I wish I could but I can't, forgive me.

"I heard he has alot of mistresses" trying to make her feel jealous 

"That was before he met me, there is no more mistresses not even one because he chosed me and me alone else. Isn't that amazing?" Smiling sweetly

"How can you trust that man, what if he is pretending?"

"Kel, I won't have you speak evil of my HUSBAND, watch your tongue, can't you see how much he cherish me and how happy I was when am with him, we have both come a long way for pretence and believe me, I won't have it if you badmouth my husband again" angrily 

"Am sorry for being too nosy"

"You shouldn't be listening to gossip, it's poisonous"

"I won't" frown

She smiled as she dragged her to the jewellery shop, kellen couldn't stop admiring the necklace on Ariana's neck. It was glittering and it's the most beautiful necklace she have ever seen. It's indeed a world filled with so many beautiful things

"Wife, look I got you something beautiful"

Leah couldn't stop smiling when he slide the ring on her finger, it size her perfectly, he gently place a kiss on her hand. 

"Thanks my darling" smiling while looking at the ring

Kellen smiled in excitement when he offer her a bracelet, she was jumping in excitement at the beautiful bracelet filled with different gem stone. She hug him in excitement but he pull away from her. It was obvious he is not pleased with her action, he pull his wife close to him before covering his mouth against hers  not minding the people presence. He smiled in satisfaction when he saw her blushing, he love it each time she was blushing.

"You look tempting wife" whispered in her ears seductively, rubbing her breast.

Both Ariana and Kellen look away in embarrassment,  leah could see them blushing, she glare at her husband as she playfully hit him on his chest, pushing him away before adjusting her hood

"Can't you see there are people here" scold him as she cover his head with his hood not wanting him to stand out

"Your husband really loves you, I feel happy each time I see a lovely couple like this" the jeweller said in admiration 

"Thank you"

"I heard that's how the king love his queen, the rumour in the village have it that he is crazy about her that even his favourite mistress got burnt by him when she tried to seduce him and the most interesting part is that, she kept hiding in shame and also trying hard to hide the horrendous mark"

They were all stare at Tyler who smiled awkwardly and held leah by her waist, he was avoiding her gaze.

Does that mean she misunderstood him back then?

"Don't you think he did the right thing?" He asked

Ofcourse, tasza is a horrible woman but the queen is kind hearted  and caring, her beauty is ethereal as they say but I doubt if she can be as beautiful as your wife mister"

"You are right indeed, my wife beauty is ethereal" wink at her

"What?...oh my god, your majesty" bow in fear

He was trembling in fear, he was stupid to think someone ordinary will go for such expensive jewelries 

"Don't be scared, am not going to hurt you" held leah's hands tightly around his

When did he change so much? My cold husband is now too lovely and romantic, I sigh heavily before dragging him

" My adorable love, don't you think it's time we head back home?" 

"Sure"

When I heard leah took Ariana and kellen out, I decide to go out too but I wasn't alone ofcourse. There is this good looking knight that followed me, he is so humble and loyal, I noticed he has been following me around ever since leah left.

"Where are you going?"

"My father, I think I need to see him"

Am I crazy? What was I thinking?

I was standing in front of his house but I couldn't go in, I saw two kids playing around the house

"Are those his children?"

"Yes"

"Let's leave"

We were about leaving when I saw him, the man i never wanted to see again was right in front of me, holding two giant fish in each hand. I wanted to leave when the kids run towards us

"Father, you are back" they said while hugging him

What I long and wish for, the feeling of having a father, the love and everything, I clench my fist in anger and was about leaving when the little boy grab my hand

" Father, is he my brother? The one you have been telling us about?" Asked curiously

"Yes"

The kids were excited as they held me in both hands, strangely I felt warm and looking up closely at the kid, he look like me, the resemblance was just too much.

I wonder what the family would look like if all of us come together as one, I found myself attracted to the kids, they are smart and lovely but I couldn't be free around them. Not because I hate them but because of my father, that man doesn't deserve such innocent children, just the thought of them being my father's children got me more pissed.

"When I grow up, I want to be as great as you" smiled

"Uh"

"Father said you lived in a far away land, where could that be?"

"Somewhere far from here" 

I wanted to leave but the kids won't let me, when I saw their mother, i felt hurt, this woman stole my mom's place, i was angry but i could do nothing. She made me fatherless and I will never forgive her.

"Am leaving" 

"You didn't ask of our name" the little girl who was calm all these while suddenly spoke up

"About that...."

"Its Eloise and Aaron" screamed after me

I don't care, I don't want to care, why is this little girl tormenting me. Telling me their name will be nothing but pain, how can I ever forget those names.

"Nick, can we talk?"

"Am not here to talk to you Mr smith"

"Am still your father Nick and I have always love you and your mother, you both...."

I couldn't control my anger, I don't want to listen to want he is saying anymore, I roughly grab his shoulder.

"Stop blabbing, I don't want to hear it. My father is dead already, I don't know who you are" 

"N..."

"Shut up!" 

I yelled at the top of my voice, I let go of him when I heard the kids crying and his wife standing there looking at us with pain written all over her face.

"Let's go Derrick "

I left without even turning back, leah was wrong, there is nothing to regret if I leave, the only regret is coming here and getting pissed.
