The beast I love

The pain was too much for me to bear

I could feel life going out of me as he held me in his arms

"Wi….fe" stammer as he gather her in his arms

"I …love you"

"Don't say a word"

He was filled with rage but stopped when kellen hit the old wench with a wood, he carried Leah in his arms and vanished as he summon the fairies to bring the others to the castle

"Do fairies actually exist?" Kellen wondered

"Shut it, don't provoke them"

They all exclaimed in awe when they saw the beautiful castle but were scared because they don't know what fate may befall them.

Leah woke up later in the day, she was surprised to find Tyler by her side, he sigh in relief when she opened her eyes.

"Wife" worriedly

I didn't say a word to him because am angry at him for so many reasons, even when I was dying I told this jerk that I love him but instead he told me to shut it.

Did he know how much pride I had to swallow to tell him that and yet he didn't give me the right response

"Where are my friends?" coldly

"They are safe"

"I need to see kellen, she must have been worried about me"

"Wife you will see them later but right now you need rest"

"Am fine"

She stood up to leave but he stopped her from moving as he roughly grab her around her waist, he gently shift her hair away from her ears as he whispered

"Don't you miss me" he said seductively

Is he trying to play with her emotions right now?

She totally ignore him and left his presence after all she knows her way around the castle.

The maids bow when they saw me, this is home and I miss everything about it.

I was treated with more respect ever since he made me his queen, I can't imagine how much I miss being here.

She hugged her tightly around her when she burst into tears; Ariana just stood there and was watching them as if they were shooting a movie, she wished she had a friend like kellen and Leah, they were indeed a real definition of what they call friends

"Stop acting like we are close because we are not" respond rudely

"Leah, let's get out of here" kellen said in fear, her grip tighten around her hand

"Why?"

"He is a beast"

And my heart beat for this beast

I know very well that he might end up killing me at any time

Am scared, I need to talk sense to Leah so we could leave this fantasy world

"He is not a BEAST"

"Leah" shockingly as she looked at her in bewilderment

"He is my husband and the ruler of this land, stop calling him a BEAST cause he is NOT one" bellowed

Both kellen and Ariana were staring at me as if I have gone insane but I don't care, I was very angry when she called him a beast.

How can she call someone as loving as Tyler a beast, he is no beast and I won't accept it if any one call him that

"My Queen!"

Jean screamed in excitement as she hugged me tightly although the guards wanted to intervene but I stopped them

I held her a bit tight, I felt welcomed and at ease which made me smile slightly

"I miss you so much my queen"

"Wait a minute if I may interfere, Are you saying she is the queen?"

"Yes"

I was shocked, could it be the beast have bewitched her with his look and this place is too beautiful to be real.

"Leah, what if he bewitched you?'

I just need to convinced her

We need to get out of this trap, this place can't be real

"Kellen I love that man, he is the man I love"

"Just let her be its obvious she was bewitch by his looks, I mean who wouldn't be? For someone like him who has been surrounded by many woman who love him but instead he made a huge mistake that…." She broke off when she sight Nick and his mother

What the hell is Ariana talking about?

Does she still have her past memory or she is just blabbing?

I was so confused until I felt someone holding me tightly around my shoulder protectively, without being told I know exactly who it is

I quickly pull away from him because I knew I would be putting him in great danger and not just in danger, if Tyler should see his arms around my shoulder he might burn him.

Strangely I hate his touch, if it were some years back, I'd be jumping in excitement and my heart would have been soaring high.

I scoffed at the thought of me acting that way

"Am miraculously healed without any scars or so, my mom told me you took the bullet for that beast?"

"You are miraculously healed by the man you call a beast, He is no Beast! She is" pointed at his mother

"How dare you?" she exclaimed

"Do you want to hit me again for the third time, you know, you and your son should be arrested for attempting murder and kidnapping of an innocent woman. Don't you think?" smirk at her

"Why are you defending him?"

"Because he is my husband and the man I love"

"You are bewitched" bewildered

Leah burst into laughter as stare at Nick

"Just let her be you jerk, you and your horrible mom should be thankful to her for interfering if not, I wonder if you would have been alive right now to even say that" kellen interrupt

"I know but stop calling my mom horrible" sadly

"And you should apologize too Ms smith for hurting her twice" completely neglecting Nick outburst

"I know and I regret all my actions but I'd do them again just to find my husband's body"

"Your husband?" shocked

"The devil took him away from me" cried out in frustration

"He wouldn't do such thing that I assure you, there might be a misunderstanding somewhere" Leah said defensively

"Why on earth are you defending him?" she yelled as she roughly grab my neck but immediately the guards came and pull her away from me while holding her down

"Let her go"

"Don't worry derrick"

"Am sorry my queen but I won't let any harm come your way, this woman need to be thrown into the dungeon"

Is Leah really saying the truth and not bewitched

That explains her action when she took the bullet for him

We trembled in fear at the sight of the king, I wonder if everyone here is a beast as well but my stupid heart kept beating too fast

"Wife" he said calmly as he held her hand

"I think there is some sort of misunderstanding here, this woman here claimed you killed her husband but I doubt that because my husband isn't a murderer" defensively

He smiled, his heart was at ease knowing she still believe in him

"My wife knows me well" he said gently as he kissed the top of her head and pull her close to him

I wish he could hold me like that

"Kellen are you alright?" she heard Leah's worried voice

"Am fine" blushing while covering her face in embarrassment

Nick clenched his fist at the sight of Leah in Tyler's arm but he could do nothing

"Please what happened to Mr smith?" she asked again

"Smith?" sounding confused while staring at her for help

"A man who came through this portal and was badly injured, he came out to our wor...."

"OHH him?" interrupt

"What happen to him?" curiously

He could see Ariana staring at him but the way she look at him is strange

What on earth is wrong with her?

"What happen to him?" snapping him out of his thought

"He is doing well"

"What? But I was sure he died, I saw it"

He glare at her before he finally speak

"I will ask my guard to summon him"

Ms smith was shocked at the revelation as she stare at her son who was just as confused as she was.

How is it possible?

He would have come back home to her and her son

She won't believe anything the devil is saying until he revealed her husband to her

"Derrick, escort her and her son to their chamber''

He tighten his grip around Leah, she sigh heavily before pulling away from him, they were staring at each other for some time, she could see how beautiful his eyes were, it was like yesterday when she vanish to her world but then again she is here to stay

"I need to talk to kellen, seize your moment while I talk to her" she whispered as she caress his cheek

He nodded in agreement as he gaze rest on Ariana who was looking elsewhere, he miss her a lot, he wish he was a better brother but he failed to be one

"Kellen, we need to talk"

"Sure"

I dragged her away from Ariana, I knew this is the opportunity he has with his sister, knowing how much he missed her made me want to spill everything to her but I couldn't

I wish she could remember her past memories of him since she is here, I just hope tyler will be alright with the fact that she doesn't remember anything about him and learn to accept her just the way she is

"Kel, do you believe me now?"

"Am trying to sink everything in, how could a man be this handsome…I mean look at how handsome he is, is that really his hair? How were you able to have such a good catch?"

I laughed at her as she hugged me tightly wishing me all the happiness in the world, am glad she no longer see Tyler as a beast.

"I love you kel, you are a sister I never had"

"What more can I say my little angel, as long as this devil makes you happy, you got my full support"

"Thank you kel"

"I wish Shane is here to witness this, I really miss him" she said sadly

When she mentioned Shane I remembered him

Perhaps kellen will be very happy to meet him or maybe not

"Kel, there is someone I would like you to meet soon"

"Who is it?"

"It's a surprise"

"I have never imagine myself traveling back in time, look at everything, it's just too beautiful"

"Will you be able to stay without worrying about your dad's health?"

"Kel, I have come too far just to give up, am not going back, my dad abandoned me, he never cares about me kel, and how on earth can I sacrifice my happiness for him? He might die at anytime and what will I do? I won't be able to come back here kel, I will never be able to see Tyler again if I leave this place because the crystal is damaged"

"What do you mean?"

"Uhhh" stammered

"Tell me Leah" yelled while holding her shoulder

"I damaged it"

"You did what?" scream in disbelief
