CHAPTER FIVE

She stood up without looking back as she hurried away but something dropped without her realizing it as she head to her room and closed the door behind her, she realized she has lost the pendant Nick gave her, it has his picture, she was searching for it without knowing Tyler was by the door

"Where the heck did I drop it" panic surge through her as she searched everywhere in her room

"Are you looking for this?"

"Yes!" She said unconsciously as she ran towards him to get the pendant but she stopped when she saw that it was him, he was filled with rage as he glared at her, she stepped back in fear.

"Where is he from?"

She was nervous as he kept moving towards her, she back away until she felt her back on the wall, he stood in front of her as he glare at her

"Who is he?" He roughly grabbed her neck, his hands were burning against her skin then he let go. She held her neck as she cough out

"Am asking for the last time?"

"He is my friend!"

"Friend?"

"Yes"

He smirk as he roughly grab her by the waist pulling her to his torso, she flinch as his hand grab a hold of her braided hair, he whisper in her ear

"You can't seduce me, am the only man you will never have Leah" he added grimly "you may have thousand suitors but am not one. You want marriage, so you've got it"

"Please let me go"

He listened to her this time he let her go as he stared at her but she was looking elsewhere

"Get ready for the ball; make sure you do not displease me"

He was by the door when he threw the pendant back at her, she went to pick it but jerk away when it burnt her, it was hot very hot.

How on earth did he do that? Am sick of him ordering and commanding me, I strode down the room and began to unbraid my hair, I look at the mirror as I began to comb it, at least for once I will look like who I am not this damn Leah. Damn her, I wish I could go back home to Dad and Jean, they are far better than the people here

I stare at myself in the mirror and smile in satisfaction, the way I changed the garb to a fancy gown was a surprise to the maids as they stare at me with their mouth hunged open

"His Majesty won't be pleased, you look too different the attire is something else"

"I don't care, this is how I want to look tonight"

"My lady I love the outfit, please teach me next time and believe me, tonight everyone will be paying attention to you"

I smiled at Marie who was saying the truth but Nora was not pleased, claiming the gown reveal every bit of my cleavage, well I don't care, I just want to make him end the marriage and I have to do it tonight, I don't care if he will kill me.

I was afraid to meet him but I sigh in relief when I heard he has left, everyone were staring at me and my outfit, the ride to where the party is being held was awkward

They have been mumbling as they stare at me, Nora led me in, the hall was filled with people from different kingdom

My gaze fell on Shane who was staring at me in a daze but looked away immediately. I was sad then my gaze searched until I saw the jerk flirting with another woman, the lady was blushing as he kissed her on her lips, yes the jerk did that in public

I saw some head turn to my direction, they were mumbling among each other and I just stood there with all eyes on me. Waiting to see my reaction but I didn't do anything, I don't give a damn what he did.

He is not human that am sure of, I turned another direction and found drinks on the table

At least they know how to party I thought as I walk to the table with numerous eyes on me, then I regret what I did, I was damn too sexy and Nora did warn me but I wouldn't listen because I want to displease the asshole.

I took a glass of god knows what and sank it in my mouth, I love the taste as I took another glass of the substance, I wanted to take the third glass when a hand came and grab my hand

"What the hell did you think you are DOING?"

He glared at me but I pushed his hands away and glared at him in return, I no longer give a shit about anyone in this world, if I die here I might end up in my world

"It's none of your business"

"If you want to die, let me be the one to throttle life out of you"

"Go away Shane!" I snarl which made him stare at me with a questioning look

"You don't like this drink because you are allergic to it, how come?"

"Do I look like her?"

He flinch at my question and tone as I took the glass of drink and walked away leaving him standing there in a daze. My gaze travelled to where the jerk was and realize he wasn't there neither was the woman with him

Many eyes rested on me, I felt miserable being the center of attention but then someone tapped me; I turn to look at a huge and handsome young man smiling at me.

"Who are you?"

He frown as he look disappointed at me, then his hand snaked around my waist, I jerk away as I glared at him

"Don't you dare touch me!"

"Don't you remember me, we made love at the market"

"That's not me. Go away!" I barked

Many of her suitors kept coming but I kept sending them away because I don't know them and I was angry at everything. I just want to go home to Nick and Kellen

Then another man approached me, he has a brown hair and golden eyes

"Can I have the honor to dance with you my lady?". I hesitate as I stare at him doubtfully

"Please"

"Sure"

At least now am with a human not some psycho, we dance while talking he is prince Fred, from Gattic , he was quite charming I wished I was married to him. I caught Tyler staring at us when Fred swing me, I turn away not giving a shit of how he was glaring at me.

We stopped dancing as we stood by the table where he took a drink, I found him fun to be with and really nice

"I love your hair" he said while caressing it, I smiled at him but my smile faded immediately I saw the jerk moving towards us

I pulled Fred to me pulling him back to the dance floor in other to avoid Tyler but I was wrong he followed us right there.

"Come here now!" He bellowed as he was trying to calm his anger, everyone felt it as I do because they stopped dancing as they focus their attention on us. I won't let the asshole embarrass me here, I did gladly die at that spot

"No!"

He was shocked as his anger grew worse the next thing I notice was Fred who was falling as he bleed, I realized it was the devil he is hurting him

"Stop! Please" I bent down beside Fred and gather him in my arms as he struggle to breath with blood coming out of his mouth and nose

"Now!" He yelled as the room shook, the glass breaking, I was scared Shane came to help me, yea he did.

"Your majesty!"

I jerk away in fear when Fred stopped struggling and was no longer moving

"No!!"

The jerk was angry as he roughly drag me behind him, no one could talk, no one will help me expect myself and am sure gonna do that and die like Fred

But am gonna die a brave death, that I assure myself, as he threw me to the carriage and order the rider to take me back home

I was in my room crying at the thought of Fred being dead, I couldn't escape everywhere were filled with guards, the jerk knew I did plan to escape, I took the pendant on the floor as I clung to it

"Oh Nick" I muttered as I began to weep, the door flew open revealing the angry face of that jerk. I knew the worst has come and am ready for it, I stood up from the bed and glare at him.

He was shocked but filled with rage as he walk towards me

"How dare you?" He muttered angrily as he added furiously "you dare flirt with another man"

"It's none of your business" I said quietly trying to hold my anger as his hand caught my neck, I gasp in pain as the pendant I was holding fell down, he released his hold from my neck as I fell but stood up immediately.
