"You're not and will never be my Alpha Francis so screw you" the softness in her voice was unbelievable

He looked at her eyes and then her lip wanting to kiss her so bad, but she wouldn't let him even if he asked politely, she was getting on his nerve and he liked it. He always wanted a mate that will fight him back no matter what, and he found her, but she didn't know

Due to being wolfless she couldn't feel the bound, so it didn't affect her, and he could clearly see in her eyes that she hated him so much, he held her chin up unconsciously and leaned closer, they stare at each other and when he tried to kiss her a wave of power sent him crashing against the wall

She stared at her hand in shock and looked back at Francis whose eye were good

"What the hell? And how dare you?!" He growled and shift into his wolf form,

She moved immediately and as he launched towards her, making him hit the wall. She quickly opened her wardrobe and pulled out her arrow and bow she meant to be wolfless, but her bravery was beyond compare, the arrow filled with a mixture of silver and wolves bane and cover with a scent that makes it hard for the wolves to dictate

He growled loudly, and she let go of the arrow. He fell to the ground with a loud noise, he growled as he got up, and before she could let go he clawed her, she screamed as blood oozed out of her arm. She picked another arrow and used it to stab him right towards his heart and his eyes widen

He fell to the ground and shift into his human form. She tried removing the arrow from his body, but he slapped her hand away

"Stay still you idiot!" She yelled at him and for some reason he did, she removed the arrow, and he screamed in pain

"What the hell is on these things?!" He yelled

"If you yell at me again I swear I'm going to let you die because this is filled with wolfs bane and silver"

"For the love of God you're my mate, why on Earth would you want to kill me?" He spoke softly

"What?!" She questioned

"You're my mate Rose"

"No I'm not! You can't have a wolfless person as a freaking mate!"

"I don't want that, but I want a mate who is fearless no matter the situation"

"But I don't want you as a mate, not today not forever"

"Is that a rejection? You're bl..." She pulled away from him feeling weak not only from the news but also from her bleeding, he tried to touch her, but she slapped his hand away

"Leave me alone! A man who thinks he can get his way anyhow with a woman isn't worth being called person talk more of a mate, I hate you so much Francis and you raped almost every single maiden in this pack, do all sort of stupid stuff due to power! No, never Francis, I'm sorry but I, Amelia Novak reject you Francis Loki as my mate and future Alpha"

Amelia backed away from him and opened her wardrobe, she took out all the arrows she had left before packing the little clothes she had inside a huge scarf before shutting the door to the wardrobe and giving out a sigh

"Rose p..."

"Don't freaking call me that! No one regardless of who you are dared to call me that trust me whether an Alpha or not, Mate or not if you call me that again I'm going to kill you without regrets" she warned

"Can you please call the pack doctor? Or I'm going to die here in the next five minutes"

"I would have let you died here, but I'm not heartless, come on get up" she helped him up and walked out of the room where her friends were waiting outside

"Amelia?" Jenna questioned as she saw Francis looking weak and bleeding without healing

"Oh no Amelia you didn't" Ursula gasped as she realized Amelia had used her arrow

"Stop complaining and help me carry him!" She was mad, they all knew it, and it wasn't a good thing when she was mad

He felt dizzy as they walked. He was going to pass very soon because he felt the wolf bane spreading him wildfire in his body

"Amelia I'm gonna..."

"Stop talking!" She hissed

"I think he's going to pass out Amelia" Ursula complained and Amelia looked towards him

"What's going on here?!" The Alpha's voice boomed through the hall but Amelia and Jenna did not stop walking

"Greetings Alpha, your son has been injected with wolfs bane and silver"

"What?! How did this happen?" He yelled with a trace of anger in his voice

"I don't know how it happened Alpha" Ursula bowed her head in submission

"Who told you that my son was injected by wolf bane and silver?"

"Amelia" she didn't want to mention her name but she no choice, she was a bad lair and the Alpha will know she was lying

"You may go"

As soon as Ursula left Arya; the Luna walked in, feeling the tension from her mate she placed her hand on his shoulder and he looked at her

"What's wrong honey?"

"Francis is taken to pack hospital" the smile on her face immediately fades away

"What happened to him?"

"He got injected by wolf bane and silver"

"How is that even possible within these walls?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion

"Amelia"

"Amelia? One of the maiden? This doesn't make sense, she's just a maiden"

"I have no idea if she did it or not, but I've been having a weird feeling around that girl lately"

"What do you mean?" They walked towards the car to get to the hospital

"Have you ever notice that since she got here as a child she was different. Unlike other maiden, Amelia had a weird sensation and my status doesn't move a thing in her, she submits whenever she wants to and follow my orders on her will" they both stepped into the hospital and asked where Francis was taken to

"I've never really noticed that before, I'm not too familiar with Amelia but do you think she's a child to an Alpha?"

"Even a child to an Alpha obeys my command unless..." He trailed off

"That's impossible, King Aarush didn't have a daughter and even if he did, it wouldn't be Amelia because she's wolfless if I'm not mistaken"

"He never did have a daughter and a King's offspring tends to shift before normal wolves like us, so it's impossible"

"You think she's a threat?"

"I am not sure about that, but we have to find out as soon as possible"
