New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is a beautiful place. There was music, art, and so much to look at. I was completely mesmerized by the place and almost forgot why I was here until I heard Storm's voice in my ear.

"Don't get distracted, Jean. We're on a mission, remember," she said as we walked the streets of the French Quarter in our civilian/ thief clothes.

I don't really know what would be considered theif wear, so I just went with a black jacket, dark purple shirt, and some black pants, while Storm went with an outfit she said was from her past. The outfit included a black leather vest, a black shirt, black pants, and a black choker with studs.

"I know, I know, but I've always wanted to go to New Orleans. Take in the sights, eat a beignet, maybe join a coven of witches or see some vampires," I said with a chuckle until I saw Storm give me a look. "I'm just joking on those last parts."

"Come child, I have a contact that's supposed to meet us at the bar that's ahead," Ororo said said pointing to a bar that was a few steps away.

"So, how does a classy gal like you have a contact in the Thieves Guild?" I asked her as we entered the bar and sat at a booth that let us see the entrance.

"Before the professor ever recruited me, I was with a group that helped me when I was on the streets," Ororo explained, revealing a part of her past that I didn't really know much about.

(I'm kinda making up Storm's backstory, but I'm trying to include some of her actual story, so this might not be all too accurate).

"They taught me how to steal and not get caught, eventually I met their ring leader, Jean-Luc," she continued to explain until a waitress came to take our order.

I ordered a few beignets and a glass of water, while Ororo ordered the same. Once the waitress left, Storm went back to telling me the story of her past.

As time passed and we got our orders, we took notice of a man walking into the building, and he walked his way over to our table.

"Ah, Ororo, my Weather Goddess, it's great to see you again," the man said to her until he noticed me at the table as well. "And who might this be?"

"Jean, this is Amon. Amon, this is one of my students, Jean," she introduced us.
