The Peak of The Tower of Glory

10 years ago, 12 Messengers of The Creator came down to earth and brought a message to mankind where they will receive punishment from the Creator. The punishment is the unification of the land into one continent and the appearance of a giant tower. To be able to free them from that punishment, they must be able to reach the top and declare their wishes to the Creator. However, as a form of generosity from Him, humans are given various abilities that they can use to help them reach the top. They are referred to as Bellators. However, not all Bellators in this new continent were capable of possessing the strong ability to carry out tower conquests. He is Galam Isiros. He's a low-ranked Bellator because the ability he has is not a useful ability in combat, namely the Space Bag. Before he ended up being a Bellator, Galam became a Professional Gamer. Fear and Despair

Everyone was shocked to see how one of the party members Bellators was easily killed after a sword slid straight into his body. They all witnessed how a rusty sword was able to pierce the body of a Bellator who had a strong body and was not easily injured.

"Did you see that?! The blade pierced through his body! It was capable of tearing apart a Bellator's body." The words of one of the party members made everyone feel panic and fear.

"Damn, damn, damn! How are we going to get out of here if we just touch the door we can get killed that easily!"

"It's over! I haven't even prepared a will for my family back home!"

Everyone was filled with immense fear. Their lives are at stake to get out of the room. No one knows how they got out without losing a single limb or even coming out alive.

Galam who also witnessed the incident was shocked. He thought how a Bellator died so easily. The information Galam knew about the dead person was that he had a D rank which meant that person was much stronger than him. However, the reality that he witnessed, a sword flew and instantly killed the person. That meant this room was deadlier than the floor they had previously conquered.

In the midst of that desperation, Andras tried to calm them down and get them to stay on their feet. "Everyone! We know that one of our comrades died in the middle of this conquest, but don't let that make us lose our minds! We have to stay focused and think how we can get out of here, together!"

Andras' words proved effective in calming the people there. While he wasn't able to completely dispel people's fears, at least he was able to get those people to try to use their brains to think of a way out.

Varos drew closer to Andras. Not wanting the others to hear what he had to say, Varos whispered to Andras. "What do you think? What percentage of us can survive this place?"

Andras took a deep breath before answering Varos' words. "One percent, the chance of us surviving and getting out of here is only one percent."

Galam overheard their quiet conversation. In fact, the strongest figure among the party members said that there was very little chance of them surviving. Galam is increasingly pessimistic that this time, he will get lucky and make it out with his life still attached to his body.

***

This was not the first time Galam had been in a situation where his life was on the brink. The first time he worked as a Porter, he had ever experienced a similar situation where he was left behind by his party members. Luckily, he didn't encounter any monsters and was found by his party members who noticed that Galam had disappeared.

Galam had also managed to live when he was in the midst of a horde of monsters ready to kill him. Even though he had some injuries on his body, he was still able to get out of this very dangerous situation. In fact, he almost died from being trapped on the floor for a month before the association found him emaciated and lacking nutrients in his body.

And a painful fact for him that those circumstances happened because he was too weak to be able to stand with people who were stronger than him. He even had to risk his life to kill a monster. On the other hand, people were able to kill a lot of monsters with their abilities and got a lot of Magic Stones to exchange for more powerful weapons.

They did that to defeat more powerful monsters and get a lot of valuable drop items from monster corpses. However, Galam could not do that. He prefers to save the money they have to pay for his life and for his sister's medicine.

Doing conquests with just a kitchen knife gave the mana inside. It was the only weapon Galam could afford to buy and use to at least defend his life. People always looked down on him just because he had weak abilities.

"Look, he managed to get out but again his body is full of wounds."

"Even on a low-tier floor? Looks like the unique talent he has isn't backed by any special abilities."

"Wouldn't it be a pity for the Healer to work with him? She had to work twice as much to treat the injured boy."

Even so, Galam always ignores the words of those who always mock him. He still does his job well as a Porter and as a Bellator struggling to keep his life on his own. He always struggles in the midst of situations that endanger his life. Therefore, Galam understood very well how such a deadly situation was preparing to massacre all the party members present.

Groo!

Galam heard a strange sound from the room. When he tried to look around the room, he sensed that danger was approaching them and spontaneously shouted to warn the others.

"All of you, bow your head and try to get down!"

Everyone who heard Galam's voice was shocked as he shouted to lower his head. Galam swiftly grabbed Sana's body and made her fall. According to Galam's instincts, thousands of blades flew from various angles towards the party group.

Some of them managed to dodge the rain of swords in time. But unfortunately, apart from them, the others had to be slashed and died on the spot.

"Damn it! That was really dangerous! If that guy didn't scream, maybe we'd all be wiped out by losing our heads," said Varos after seeing what happened.

Galam tries to resuscitate Sana who looks unconscious. "Sana! Are you okay?! Get up, Sana!"

Galam's face looks very panicked seeing Sana's unconscious condition. He began to think that if he didn't agree to the choice to continue down that strange passage, Sana wouldn't have experienced anything like this. Galam feels guilty and feels stupid for his decision.
