1. I Dare you

" what!"

Everyone in room 8 turned to Cole. Room 8 was the last room down the boys dorms and everyone knew not to step their foot in there if they valued their life. The room occupied of the biggest Devils in the school. Cole, Mike, Hunter and Damien all lived in this room and they were known to be Merciless.

" yeah. Mike dared me to get a kiss from Heaven by Friday"

Cole said it as if it was not a big deal. Everyone knew Heaven was off limits. Her parents were major shareholders of the school and three of her brothers and her sister were on the Royals hall of fame. No one dared to push her around either.

" dude do you realize what you are putting yourself in" Damien said in between his smoking.

" what if she does not want to kiss you, I mean she is boy repellent. Why would you think she would want to kiss you? " Hunter added.

Cole stood up and flapped the smoke from Damiens cigarette off his face.

" I'm going to find a way" Cole said with no trace of fear on his face said before walking out of his room into the school premises which was highly forbidden on weekends. Deep down there was a little bit of fear but he was not going to show it.

Heaven jotted down her poem. She was leaning against the book shelves in the library eating her favorite snacks. It was her Saturday thing to do.  She would sneak into the school premises every weekend using her mother's spare keys which she stole three months back during the spring break. She knew her mother wouldn't look for them as she didn't even care about the school, all she saw was the profit she was getting from the school fees and boarding fee.

The door slammed open scaring Heaven. No one was supposed to be in the school premises on Saturdays. She quickly stood up and ran to the storage room connected to the library. She hid behind piles of books hoping no one will come inside. She listened to the footsteps as they were getting louder. The footsteps stopped for a while before fading again and the door closed.

She blew out an air of relief and walked out to the spot she was in before. She took her belongings and sneaked out before whoever was in here caught her.

Cole walked into hallway looking around. He stopped and turned his head down the royals hall of fame and battled with himself if he should take a look or pass. He decided to walk into the long passage looking at frames and trophies on the wall. She stopped at tgfe picture of her sister, Dana. She was in the tenth grade but she has managed to make it in the schools hall of fame and her picture hang high in the hall of fame. She was academically good while he was in the 12 grade and always in the trouble makers list.

he turned to walk away and headed to the library. He wanted to pick up a new book to read. It has been the eighth time reading Romeo and juliet hoping the end would change. That was his life. He does the same thing every day hoping his life would change.

Like her mother would stop her drinking habits and his father would man up and take care of his kids rather than throwing them in a boarding school.

She opened the library and walked slowly scanning through the book shelves for a nice book to pick.

" come on, for Heavens sake will I find a book" he muttered under his breath .

He stumble upon a something making him look down to a pink book.

He picked it up and opened it.

'This belongs to Heaven McClain, don't read without permission.'

He smirked and disobeyed what was written and went through the book until he stopped on the last page.
