A week's time

In the days that followed, I became more and more quiet. I ate less and refused to walk by myself. It felt like I was barely living. The only thing I looked forward to was the nights Nan Shen spent with me. Lately he only came to feed or shower me, though. Was I getting worse? What's happening to me? The more I think about it the more I got scared. Was this because I'm sick or am I depressed just staying in the house?

"I'm taking you with me today." Nan Shen interrupted.

"I would like to go, thank you" I whispered.
