Chapter 7

I stared at Walter, unbelieving I did this. His body was crumpled to the ground slumped against the wall. I used my power to fling him away from Adenine but apparently I used too much force, because from what I could see, his left arm was broken, the back of his head was bleeding from hitting the wall with such force. I did this? I didn't even do anything! All I felt was anger and a surge of power!! I screamed in my head. I wasn't even trying to do anything this bad to him, all I was trying to do was to get him away. from Adenine. I collapse to the floor.

"We have to take him to the nurses office!" I yell, worried if he looses too much blood he was gonna die. Adenine came over to look at him, putting her hand on my shoulder.

"It's not your fault, Wolf. You don't have control over your powers yet. I'm surprised you could completely overwhelm him, he is a senior after all, and you are a freshman just starting magic." She said, trying to comfort me.

"I didn't want to hurt him!" I exclaim, trying not to freak out.

"I know that, I know you didn't want to hurt him." Adenine said, collecting me in her arms. We stay there like that for a few minutes. I crawl out from her arms and stand up, trying not to panic.

"We need to take him to the nurses office!" I yell, collecting Walter in my arms and walking out towards the nurses office, Adenine following me as I sprint through the halls.

I walk into the nurses office, a bell sounding that we are here, the top of my robe covered in blood. The door closes behind us, making the bell ring again.

"I'll be right with you." a female voice said. I observed the room as I waited, Walter still in my arms. This room had five different beds behind curtains, three of the curtains were closed while the other two were open. A young lady walked out from one of the closed curtains holding a tray with a bunch of needles. She looked up and her eyes widened.

"Oh my, hurry, bring him over here!" she exclaimed, running over and setting the tray down and then over to an open bed. I walk over and set him gently onto the bed. The nurse comes running over with bandages and a potion.

"Who did this to him?" She asks, making him drink the potion. I stare down at my feet.

"I did this to him. He was messing with Mrs. Adenine and I snapped. I am truly sorry." I say, looking into her eyes. She turns back to me, staring into my eyes.

"You did this to him??" She asks, shock all over her face, she turns back to Walter and sighs. "I believe it. He is the weakest senior and can't even beat the strongest sophomore. So, I'm not really surprised that you beat the living shit out of him, the thing I'm most surprised about is how you managed to do this when this is only your second day going to magic classes." She said, going back to wrapping his head. I watched as she slowly managed to stop the bleeding, the potion did some awesome work making the bleeding stop and the broken bones mend.

"I didn't mean to hurt him. I only wanted to protect Adenine." I say, sitting on a chair in the waiting room. I put my head in my hands and sigh. If only he hadn't disrespected Adenine, I could have stayed calm. I thought to myself as I listened to Walter's ragged breathing. I stand up and walk over to the nurse.

"Will he be alright?" I ask, worried. She turns around and smiles at me.

"Yes, he will be fine. Also my name is Galena, I have a feeling I will see you a lot more than is good." Galena said, smiling.

"My name is Wolf, it is nice to meet you Galena, under different circumstances I think it could have been me you would be working to save right now." I say, walking towards the door, "Please, take care of him for me. I will be back tomorrow to check on him." I say, looking back. She had turned to look at me, giving me a chance to have a good look at her, she had long white hair, almost to her knees, her eyes were bright red, fair skin, if I had to guess she was five foot eleven. I smile at her, then turn back to the door, and walk out of the office.
