I just wanna start out by saying that this is my favorite book. The reasons for this are, 1. The writing quality is amazing with barely any mess ups or plot holes. 2. The way each character has their own personality and the way they interact with eachother is just amazing and for once actually human. 3. The struggles each character is facing with their own mental trauma and situations is so well planned out, even when the character is acting out of line or different there is a reason for it and it’s actually something that progresses the story in a meaningful way. 4. The book is something that is comedic and serious, and balances the line perfectly. 5. The main characters are people who mess up and who sometimes you don’t like or maybe you favor one way more than the others, but in many ways they are unique and different with their own ways to handle situations. And the final reason why this book is my favorite is that it never gets boring, yes sometimes there are things that you wish would pass quicker and yes the book is not perfect, but I believe that it is the very next best thing.
I would’ve reviewed sooner but I couldn’ put it down long enough to do so until I caught up. If you love video games (especially rpgs) and anime this story is perfect for you. You develop a connection to the main characters the more you read about their interactions with each other and the world they live in. Gore to rival Re:Zero, camaraderie of Fairy Tail, action sequences that you can feel like you can see with your own eyes and a guaranteed laugh every other chapter minimum. 5 stars for sure.
This is an amazing story, the characters are well written and funny, the action is solid and the dialogue is great, the worldbuilding is much much better than I was expecting, and I just keep getting more and more hooked on this. This story includes an adequate amount of details and explanations without making things confusing, and leaves other things unanswered/open for the readers to wonder what’s to come. This is one of the best fantasy novels I’ve ever read, and with the consistent chapter releases I have no complaints
