First Dungeon Hunt

Justin, arrived a few minutes after the blue lights went off. They met up , at the cafeteria inside the guild. They talked a little bit , and decided not to go further if anyone got the slightest hurt and then they started taking their way to the dungeon.

"Azar, are you alright?"

"Umm, nothing I can't handle."

"Sure, you don't want to talk about it."

"Sure."

"As you wish."

*Ugh, why does she have to be so stubborn. She wasn't like that.*

"Yo, Azar! Are you going to stay silent all the way there? Come on, whatever it is, it can wait, we met again yesterday after so much time. Want me to throw you some of the cheering punches like the old days?"

"Shut up, musclehead."

"Hey, that's rude!"

"Like it was at the old days."

"Hahaha, right. So are there any other ideas at that small head that could bring us money?"

"I don't really care about money. There's something else in my mind from yesterday."

Lina blushed a little. Azar noticed it, but he decided not to give it any attention.

"What is it. Any of your brilliant ideas that will change the world again?"

"Nothing like that. It's just that I get this feeling that this kingdom has something fishy..."

"What is it?"

"Forget it, I don't want to talk about it, if I don't first confirm it."

"Azar... Are you sure you want to keep so many secrets, from your friends? You know me and Justin are really worried about you."

"Don't pay it any attention."

"Ugh, always keeping secrets from his friends and we are going to risk our lives with him today. I don't know why you don't trust us , but get this in your mind, we could end up not trusting you."

"It's not that it's a secret, it's just that I don't want to get you involved in something that could not even exists."

"We are here!"

"Okay, let's rest a little before going in."

"Agreed.","Agreed."

As they were resting Azar tried to communicate with Keni, but once again, she didn't answer.

"Is everyone ready?"

"Yep!","Let's go."

*WOW, I didn't really paid any attention at it, but the dungeon's door is huge and made from... the same material that the coins are made. But inside the material a strange light seems to move around. Is this the way they keep the monsters from getting out?*

As they all three stood in front the door, their reflections got captured and their names got written atop of their heads, they got scaled at the crystals.

*Our names are enlightened with the strange light, there are some other names there but theirs are not enlightened.*

The door opens and they are getting inside the dungeon. As soon as they made some more steps inside the door closed. The room wasn't dark at all. It had some of the strange lights as orbs.

"This is the 1st level, it is pretty easy we could find the moving stairs without getting hurt."

"Alright then, lets make some coins."

-Come on Keni... hours has passed till the last time you spoke, I need you here.-

-Oh, so you need me. I can't help you, I am just a tool remember.-

-I said I am sorry.-

-Oh no you didn't. Don't you remember. You tried to say you are sorry, then that bitch opened the door and you stopped talking and went inside and talked with her. Not with me.-

-Keni... I am sorry. I didn't mean it. You are more of a person than I am.-

-Will, it happen again?-

-No I swea...-

"AZAR, FOCUS, I KNOW I SAID IT'S AN EASY LEVEL BUT FOCUS"

"Alright, Lina don't get so worked up. Just a moment and not even the 2nd level will be any different."

-As I was saying... I swear I will not disrespect you again.-

-Thank you.-

"What do you mean, do you have anything in mind?"

"Nope, it's just that now, it's a 4 person group and not 3."

Both Justin and Lina stopped and looked around.

"What do you mean? I can't see anyone."

"It's Keni, something happened between us yesterday and she wasn't answering me. Now it's all settled up. I can fight with a clear mind and with her."

"Was that the reason you were troubled before?"

"Now that you are saying it... Yes it was one more factor that I was troubled."

"And what can this tool do?"

-This bit...-

"APOLOGIZE, now!"

"For what?!"

"This sword is not just a tool! She is a person too, with feelings!!"

"And why doesn't she say that herself?!"

"So you want me to prove it to you?"

"I would be glad to."

-Keni, please don't kill her , don't hurt her either.-

-Alright. I was waiting for this.-

"She agreed she won't kill you, and i trust her. Grab her."

Lina took the sword from Azar's hand.

*Don't give me a reason not to trust you Keni, I believe in you.*

Some seconds passed.

*LINA IS... CRYING???*

"Alright, I got that and... and... DON'T EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN!"

"Wait, Lina!"

"I SAID DON'T SPEAK TO ME!"

-Keni? What did you do? I said don't hurt her!-

-I didn't... physically. I just said her some things and all of a sudden she started crying.-

-Okay what did you told her?-

-Are you sure you want to know?-

-Yes.-

-I am not telling you... It's... girl stuff.-

"Hey, Azar... I know it's bad timing but... I think the level's boss found us."

-Oh fuck... Azar be careful.-

-How bad could it be?-

-The boss of every level is at a whole different power level of every other monster here.-

A roar echoed. Azar, instinctively jumped forth, throwing behind him a bomb and right after it a metal rod, creating an explosion. But that wasn't enough to make the boss even flinch a little bit.

"Justin, RUN"

"Got it."

-Keni, can we handle it?-

-We could defeat it, but you won't be getting out of here without any scratches. Broken bones maybe?-

-It's okay for me.-

-Well, any plans, you know this thing is... Huge.-

-We are pretty lucky, the previous boss had even gained some crystalic scales, this one is the new boss around.-

-So when you defeat a boss the next more powerful monster takes it's place.-

-And who stops it at going to other levels?-

-No one. It's just like war. If it can go to the 2nd level and defeat any other monster there and consume it's core , except if the other monster has not done the same, it can level up to the 2nd level.-

-So it stays because it rules the 1st floor. I see.-

Suddenly, another punch. Azar back-stepped jump at the monsters hand and run to its head.

But this is not a normal exercise golem. Its hand started producing ice and Azar jumped down just in time. He made a perfect landing, a very basic parkour move.

*I am learning from my mistakes!*

*And what if it can use magic. Nothing changes.*

-Keni, I need an estimated time for the full assassin mode.-

-With the mana you will produce in that time its most likely 2 seconds.-

-And next?-

-You will faint.-

-I see, it's not good enough, we don't know if we kill it.-

It started raining ice shards. One hit Azar at his leg, but it only scratched him.

*WAIT! That can prove useful right now.*

Azar stopped running, started casting some magic circles.

-I see, so that's your plan.-

-So you read my mind. Do you like it?-

-A new spell... it could make something.-

-I'm gonna call it Reshape.-

-Good enough.-

The next punch, Azar tried to dodge it without pausing his casting. He got hit and launched him to a wall.

-Not even a cracked bone, your daily exercise paid off.-

-I'm not done yet.-

The circle popped and he took a spring out of his backpack.

*And now i need to make a rod flat and squarish.*

-Wait, is this your whole idea?-

-If i can handle the 'g's we could defeat it.-

The square was made in a split second , he run dodging the ice shards, some of them were scratching him. Then he made melted the spring and the square together. Placed a bomb under the square.

-I just want to mention that, your crazy.-

-You said broken bones right. Let's make this count.-

He run towards the golem. The golem swiped the floor with its hand Azar jumped it , but then, a direct punch got him. And he got launched again.

*Just as calculated.*

With this enormous power he hit the launch pad he created. The bomb exploded adding additional speed. He took a form of an arrow.

-KENI TAKE THE EXECUTIONER'S SWORD FORM, AS SOON AS WE TOUCH HIM.-

-But this will...-

-Just do it, for a split second.-

Azar squeezed every muscle of his body, the 'g's he body was taking was enough to make a human die. His bones start cracking. His hands that were holding Keni begun to brake.

Then they touched the golem, Keni did as instructed , Azar got knocked off by the mana exhaustion. The best pain killer he could get.

And then he fainted... again.
