Past Life

What was the law? The law was the working of a world. the stronger the world, the greater the laws. every world has its laws, cultivators have the power to comprehend these laws and draw upon the powers to do many things. in Marvel, one might see this as Abstract Entities, they were pretty much laws that gain wisdom. it's just that in the cultivation world, all laws came together to be the heavens. 

If a law is removed or destroyed, then said power gained from said law shall disappear. If the law of fire were to disappear from the Pangu world, then the Pangu world would lose the very concept of fire across time and space.

Laws had levels, and now all Dao was equal to a Law. yes, a Dao should transcend the laws, but it doesn't mean every Dao started that way. What would happen if someone used the countless worlds out there to open the door to Saint Hood? Nothing.

To become a Saint, one needs to comprehend a law, it was just the requirement to do so. but what Ling Han and everyone else of the Supreme race were doing wasn't simply taking a step back to comprehend a law. No, they were stepping back and looking at the birth of a new law.

The One True Supreme Law, and using this law as their foundation. Ling Han began to create this law, and due to the overwhelming power of this law, Ling Han stepped into the Ben 10 world, there the whole Ben 10 world bathed under the power of the One True Supreme Law, causing the Ben 10 world laws to start growing stronger and stronger. 

Ling Fan, Ling Fang, the knights, and everyone else sat within the Ben 10 world, sitting around Ling Han who was glowing with a unique aura. the One True Supreme Aura, and aura brought upon by the birth of this new law.

Ling Han was special, he didn't simply need to comprehend laws, he needed to get them all together to form the One True Supreme law. This wasn't easy, and to do this Ling Han had to go through a unique transformation. 

Currently, within Ling Han's inner mind. Ling Han sat cross-legged, trying to form the One True Supreme Law, but he was having trouble fusing so many laws. each world had their laws, countless of them, with some being stronger than others.

He first tried to fuse each world's laws, before trying to fuse the endless number of worlds of laws. but this was far harder than he expected, so he was trying to think of the best way around things. He tried to fuse every law that was the same as each other, before going on to fuse them all together, but it was just too hard. It was like he was missing something.

"You seem like you need a hand." with a flash, a fully grown version of Ling Han appeared, leaving Ling Han stunned while looking at this version of himself.

"You're my past life?" I asked softly, to which my past life nodded slightly, before having me follow him.

"before you do anything, you should remember who we are, and why we created the One True Supreme Cultivation Art." He said while the world around us changed, going back in time to show me my past life...

while Ling Han was busy doing this, the Ling clan was busy looking towards the next incoming war.

"Mather In law... why is she here?" within a meeting room, Ling Fang, and the many ancestors of the Ling clan gathered, with Anos and Nalan Yanrn joining. but it was all being led by Daoleaf, Bebra.

Today, Ling Fang would step away and leave those Ling Han had picked to lead the clan to do just that. Daoleaf and Bebra, being Ling Han's right hand were being tested, but just as the meeting was about to start, they noticed Fan Ye entering the meeting room with a silver-haired woman. Yuan Ming couldn't help but ask the question, not like how close Fan Ye was next to this silver-haired girl.

"This is YinYang Strongfist, she is my disciple." Fan Ye said with a smile, leaving the meeting room blank as they didn't expect this. they looked at YinYang Strongfist, quickly noticing how something about her wasn't right... why didn't she have the supreme race bloodline? She had none of the benefits from the Ling clan, yet she stood at the God King realm... wait, wasn't she below the True God King realm not too long ago? how did she skip the world God, and reach God King in such a short amount of time?

"I wanted to see how fast someone could improve without having to gain the quality changes like bloodlines, and techniques. instead, I worked on converting all of that into resources to help her break through realms. adding her natural talent, this is the scene that came." Fan Ye said with a smile, making everyone confused as to why she could ever bother to do this.

"It's simple why I would want to do this. it's going to be harder and slower for us to make many improvements. Just look at the fact in dozens of thousands of years, we have improved by a small amount. meanwhile, she reached this level in less time, plus the number of resources she used was enough to help us reach only the World God's realm of power. yet she is a step away from reaching Dao God." She said, making everyone look at each other. they would be lying if they said they never thought of doing this... but they thought that was a waste of resources.

"How long did it take her to reach this level of power, adding sped-up time?" Bebra asked with narrowed eyes. To the current Ling Clan, time was meaningless. With time chambers capable of speeding up trillions of times over, and higher... what was the point of waiting? 

"I started just a few minutes ago, I had held it off for too long. but the time she went through within the time chamber was 1,000 years. also, the resources were simply a breath from Ling Han. In that 1,000 years, she had the energy needed to break through for us to the world god realm, plus her mind was enlightened to a stage that we of the Supreme race can't enter." Fan ye said while remembering how Spring Grass's mind was enlightened. 

"If there is a tier to enlightened, there is false enlightenment that is reached through outside means. there is natural enlightenment which comes through normal means, and this should be the best type of enlightenment. but it seems there is a greater level of enlightenment we can't reach due to how powerful our minds are." Fan Ye said softly, stunning everyone as they never noticed this.

Ling Han was able to put people into a state of enlightenment no different from natural enlightenment. but no one had ever thought there was a stage of enlightenment above natural enlightenment. 

As the Supreme Race grows stronger, their thinking capability of course increases to brand new heights. Their minds were unique, but this made it harder and harder for them to be enlightened by even Ling Han's breath... although Ling Han had never noticed such a thing. 

This new level of enlightenment Fan Ye spoke about was truly magical. but how would someone weak face something that was supposed to make the Supreme race enlightened? the effect was boosted to new heights.

"I call this new stage of enlightenment. Nirvana. In this stage, she was like Little Han. Knowledge just came to her. She reached a state where she instantly understood any and all things." Fan Ye said with a smile, making everyone stunned. they all knew that the knowledge some would seek while in a state of enlightenment wouldn't be simple, so for it to just come and for it all to be enlightened instantly... they were envious 

"... I see. we are so powerful we don't notice the full effect of things on our hands." Bebra said a cold light flashed through her eyes. Think of this as if it was a game, the Supreme race would be the character that would need the most XP to level up. meanwhile, everyone else would need far less XP. but in return, the Supreme race was far more powerful than the others at the same level and had the best abilities. even those stronger than them would have a headache due to how powerful they were. So, why can't they form an army of these easily trained soldiers? 

Everyone looked at YinYang Strongfist, but after a moment, they shook their heads and had the meeting return. there, Daoleaf and Bebra went on to go over their plans for the next coming war, and how they should use this new information to their benefit...

Back to Ling Han, Ling Han went through all of his past lives. Every time Ling Han died, he was reborn with a new verse. Back then, the system said something about it waiting countless eternities, and now he understood what it meant.

After the start, there is always an end. how do you measure the start of time to the end of time? that was an eternity. Ling Han had reincarnated an infinite number of times, each eternity holding an infinite number of lives he left through. Each eternity came and left, but Ling Han kept reincarnating, reincarnation into another eternity, or living long enough to see the end of eternity.

In one life he was Thor from Marvel, in another life he was Odin from Marvel. In another he was Superman, he was Broly, in another he was Bill Cosby... in other words, he lived every life across existence. In one eternity he was even Zeno. He was everyone at some point, and he had just seen it all.

"Now, the last life. the one that started it all..." The grown version of Ling Han said while going on to show the life that started it all. Ling Han's strongest past life, the life that birthed the system.

So, Ling Han went on to see the birth of his first life. born from a powerful clan, he was a crippled who wasn't able to cultivate. but he was loved by his father greatly and was even able to get engaged to a genius woman who had a beauty like none other.

Being in love, his first life was willing to do anything for his love. but she was just using him and soon ran off after using his clan and leaving behind huge trouble he and his clan had to fix. Not knowing what to do.

Not knowing what to do, this first life soon discovered that his father wasn't truly his father but his stepfather. within him laid something left behind by his real parents, he also found that he wasn't a cripple, but his real parents had sealed away his ability to cultivate until he was old enough for some unknown reason.

Using what his parents left behind to him, which was knowledge of many fields he could take in cultivation, he began to cultivate. In a matter of days, he turned the bad position his clan was within and led to his clan growing. but soon, he set off to go find and get revenge on the woman who had almost destroyed his clan.

He made many allies, along with many enemies. but slowly his power began to increase bit by bit, he got revenge but could never bring himself to fall in love again. but he didn't care for love and soon went on to reach the peak of cultivation, standing in his verse as some supreme overlord. but as time passed while he was supreme, he began to question himself... was there more out there?

So he went to go search, going beyond his verse until he found himself within the Verse Void. In this void, he went on to travel around, find many verses, and comprehend its laws. slowly he found verses stronger than his, leading to his power to also begin to grow. before he knew it, he was standing across all of existence as the strongest lifeform... no, the second strongest.

Above him was the nonexistence thing beyond even the Verse Void. Being someone who started from nothing to his current strength, he wanted to also reach the level of nonexistence. So, took all of the knowledge across the Omniverse. everything he could find, he took it all and tried to combine it all to form something to help him even face nonexistence.

But nonexistence sensed this and came into existence to kill him. it was a battle like nothing his first life had ever faced. Even so, thanks to the bits of techniques he had created, he was able to face nonexistence... but he didn't have Supreme Qi, much less the One True Supreme Qi. His once endless energy was sucked dry and he was killed, but he managed to send a bit of his will out to a verse that was far away from the battle long before the battle even started.

All while the fight was happening, he knew he would die. he was only busy trying to comprehend Nonexistence so that next time around, he would have a higher chance of winning.

"What is nonexistence?" I asked while looking at the thing that had no form, the thing that killed my first life.

"nonexistence is nothing. the closest thing to it is Anos power. But Anos doesn't hold a fragment to his capability. Nonexistence is where things that stop existing go. Don't think of it as the opposite of creation, nothing in creation can hint at what it is. I called it nonexistence, but that doesn't do it justice. Even the end, death, and so on. It all goes there." The first life said while the frozen image moved, and from it, he stepped out to look at me. 

"I knew I needed 3 things to defeat him, and I used the rules he followed against him. First is that I ended needless talent. so, I had my will go on to reincarnate and be every living thing across existence. gain bits of every living thing's talent, slowly having each new reincarnation be more talented than the last.

Second, in all of these incarnations, I would perfect the One True Supreme Cultivation art as it was the only thing in creation that could face nonexistence.

third. understand nonexistence. as you can't destroy it as it doesn't exist in the first place. you also can't create so much stuff to overfill nothing, as there will always be nothing. So, an understanding of Nonexistence is needed." He said while looking at me, he could notice I was on guard against him, which made him smile.

"You need not be on guard, I'm just the true form of the system. Nonexistence destroyed me, there is no hope of me ever coming back. The me of old is gone, but the me of new can rise. So, before I disappear and leave you all alone... I want to ask you a question. Why Do you think I named the One True Supreme Cultivation art that?" He asked with a smile, 

"you want to be the one True Supreme, standing above even Nonexistence and All of Existence," I said calmly

"What does it mean to be supreme?" He asked with a smile, 

"To stand above all, and below none. mentally, physically, and so on... is this why you had me see the endless incarnation I lived through." I asked to which he nodded slightly. I looked at him for a second before looking towards my past life,

"You realize it? You can't form a Supreme Law if you're not supreme. It's a paradox... luckily, you are capable of destroying this Paradox" He said with a smile, to which I laughed as Indeed I realized this. I could create a pseudo-law, but until I stood supreme, being Supreme was out of the picture. By being Supreme, I meant to be the strongest in the Omniverse. 

"Alright, let's start with the first step to being Supreme," I said while looking at the many powers I once had. I had to make them all Supreme. now, Let's go down the list of countless abilities and techniques out there. 

Endless Nine from Umineko no Naku Koro ni, The Almighty form Bleach, Infinity from JJK, Instant Death from Instant Death, and the list went on. I had every ability out there, I mean with my words and eyes, I could do anything I wanted... but why can't I get these abilities and make them Supreme? At that point, I would be able to do anything anyone could do, but on a level like no other. my eyes and words would only boost these abilities to greater heights.

My law will heavily rely on my status, so to even create it, I needed to have anything and every turned into the One True Supreme Level. The System has done this before, but there was more that needed to be done.
