Part 40

Sebastian took a small step toward him, to which Noah took a step back. Sebastian lowered his hands and froze in place.

"I just want to talk to you, please," by the look on Noah's face, Sebastian realized that time was short. It was obvious that he was getting worse day by day.

"What are you doing here, Sebastian?" Noah frowned. He didn't want to see him now, especially now.

"You're making a mistake! I think we can figure out together how to deal with ancient magic. In order for you to be okay, what is happening to you now is not normal. I want to help," Sebastian held out his hand to him. Noah didn't move; he just looked away.

"The same way you helped Anna?" Noah decided that if talking didn't help, it would be better to scare him off with threats.

Sebastian's breath caught in his throat.

"Go back to Feldcroft; there's nothing more to talk about," Noah pulled out his wand and pointed it in Sebastian's direction.

"You're not serious, are you?" Hoping that Noah was bluffing, Sebastian took another step toward him.

"Don't come near me!" Noah pointed his wand up and released a surge of pure energy from ancient magic in front of Sebastian. He fell to the ground in surprise, his ears ringing from the blast. A deafening silence hung in the air until it was broken by Garrett running up.

"What's going on here?!" Weasley ran up to Sebastian with his wand at the ready and directed it toward the attacking figure until he saw that it was Noah.

"What are you doing?" He lowered his wand and couldn't believe that this sudden burst of strong magic was caused by his friend.

Noah looked down at them and aimed his wand at Garrett. Sebastian couldn't believe what was happening now. It's ancient magic that's driving Noah mad in the end. Sebastian decided to take him by force since talking doesn't help.

"Come to your senses already! Look what you've come to! Attacking your friends?!" Sebastian took out his wand and began to cast destructive spells on Noah without stopping. At the same time, he moved closer to him. Garrett fell out of reality, watching Noah and Sebastian seeming to fight for life and death.

"Tell me the reason why?! Why don't you ask for help? Why are you pushing me away?!" Sebastian shouted these words at the top of his voice and cast a Diffindo spell. Just at this moment, Noah, crouching, spat blood and couldn't put up a defense in time. The spell sliced his left eye with a long cut from which blood gushed out.

"Noah!" Garrett rushed toward them, realizing that everything had gone awry.

"I didn't mean to; I didn't," Sebastian ran up to the bleeding Noah with shaking hands, not believing his eyes.

"I asked you to leave me alone!" Noah fell to his knees and clutched his left eye.

"Garrett, do you have any Rowan broth?" Sebastian turned to the Weasleys in a fit of panic.

"I must have it; I'll look for it now!" Garrett started searching for the potion inside his bag.

Noah was incredibly tired of all this. All he wanted at the moment was for it to finally end.

When Sebastian finally turned to Noah with the potion in his hands, goosebumps ran down his spine from what he saw. He watched as Noah stared at him with red eyes, the left one that was completely covered in blood.

"Depulso," one wave of the wand and Sebastian and Garrett, who did not expect such a situation, were thrown with all their might onto the rocks. The spell was so powerful that it seemed as if all the air had been knocked out of their lungs. Until they got up, Noah headed in the opposite direction of the village, where the Flame of Floo was, holding onto his left eye.

"He's leaving!" Garrett got up first and helped Sebastian to his feet.

"Follow him! We must not miss him!"

When Noah reached the middle of the village, Olivier ran up to him, agitated by his appearance.

"Merlin's beard! Are you hurt?! Who did this?" She began to examine him from head to toe. When Sebastian and Garrett caught up with Noah, Olivier stepped between them.

"Hyacinth, step back; we need a floodplain... that is, to help him!" Garrett tried to explain to her.

"Noah, don't go," Sebastian said, looking at Noah, who was standing with his back to them.

"Don't let them pass," Noah went on, the Flame of Floo was at hand.

"Hyacinth, I understand how it looks from the outside, but we want to help him. Please don't interfere; we are his friends!" Garrett tried to explain to her.

"You don't have to try, Weasley; she's under the curse of Imperio," Sebastian had to pass by her, he must. If they missed Noah now, he might be lost forever.

"Imperio? But it's an Unforgivable Curse," Garrett looked at Sebastian, to which he simply lowered his head with a frightened expression on his face.

"Sebastian, where did Noah learn this curse? And how do you know what a man looks like under the Imperio? Sebastian?!" Garrett asked excitedly.
