Chapter 2 - Shenanigans [Edited]

I and Sung were being dropped off at school and with him closely following behind me, I remembered that we weren't sent to kindergarten.

If I remember correctly, kindergarten is optional and separate from elementary school.

Our parents didn't send us to kindergarten since they didn't want to see us go but when I hit age 6, I was required to enter elementary school and after Sung was 6 years old he was also sent to school.

Anyway, back to the present, I began putting my small backpack into the locker and took my stuff out. When I was done, I started walking to my moral education class.

There were actually a lot of kids paying attention to the teacher which was very surprising to me. Back in America, kids don't care to pay attention unless they want to graduate high school or enter college.

Of course, some kids, even though not that many in number were sidetracked.

Since I'm from America, I wasn't really paying attention to the teacher at all and made it look like I was with illusion magic.

When the moral education class finished, the next class was the Korean language, and since I have an ability that makes it so I know how to speak all languages, my eyes were elsewhere.

There were a lot of kids glancing at me since I was the quiet one in class but since they know I didn't like to talk to people, they were too scared to initiate a conversation.

We had other classes but since I was getting bored, I secretly made a body double of myself and quickly teleported in a secluded spot outside school.

Checking my surroundings to make sure no one saw me teleport, I nodded to myself and shifted into a young adult.

I have the ability to shapeshift into anyone, even if the appearance doesn't exist in the world.

Then, creating some comfortable clothes for me to wear, I began walking around as I spotted a group of high schoolers in an alleyway. They were also smoking.

Since this universe is that of a manhwa, I guess things are going to develop like one. A smile made its way onto my face.

I was a pretty violent person before I transmigrated into that baby so I should freshen up my combat skills against them.

'Oh, I won't kill them though. I don't have the time for that too.'

My loud footsteps caught the high schoolers' attention as they looked at me with irritated faces.

"What's this bastard doing here?' A cigar was lodged in between his middle finger and pointer finger.

When the other high schoolers heard that guy talk, all their heads immediately turned to me. "He's a little cute... What's your name?"

Ignoring what they were saying to me and feeling like I was inside a school manhwa instead of Solo Leveling, I stopped in front of the one who called me a bastard.

I slapped him on the cheek, hard. It seems like the slap was strong enough to knock him out. What a shame.

"This--"

Stepping back and easily dodging the big guy's right hook, I realized that this wasn't fun at all. After I discovered the uselessness of this fight, I deflected the big guy's punch and walked away.

'I should have made it so that I could slowly train myself instead of being extremely overpowered... This is kind of boring...'

'Even though I can weaken myself, knowing I can just unleash my true strength when I'm in danger takes the fun out of it.'

'Am I... having the same emotion as a certain powerful bald man right now?'

Shaking my head and hiding that thought for later, I moved my head to the left as a small rock flew past me.

'I need the gates to appear so I can at least have fun with my powers, but what am I going to do at this moment?'

Rapidly thinking of things that could entertain me, I started walking to where a phone store was with the help of The Golden Eyes of God.

Concealing myself in a cloak of mana, I walked inside the phone store and grabbed the latest phone model from the storage.

When I grabbed the phone, I quickly began making an account as I teleported near the school and looked toward the sky.

'What was that? Should I look and...'

*Sigh*

Anyway, even though there's a ton of entertainment on the internet, the videos from Earth aren't here so the internet is boring at this moment.

The next best thing I can think of for entertainment is watching people fight one another. It gets the blood pumping.

The username I chose for all the important apps on the phone was Ghost.

That's when I thought, 'Should I mess around with people with the cloak of mana? They won't be able to see me, so...'

'Yep. That's what I'm going to be doing in the meantime and I'll also record their reactions for my channel!'

I had already found my targets; the two were young adults and they were casually talking to each other.

Enveloping myself in the cloak of mana, I started walking to where they were. Now behind them, I softly blew into the taller man's ear.

He turned around, trying to find the person who just blew into his ear.

I was quietly laughing to myself as he turned toward his friend.

"Did you see someone behind me? It felt like somebody blew into my ear."

A dumbfounded look was on his friend's face. "What are you even talking about? There is no way in hell someone would even go near you with your looks."

A grumble escaped him. "Shut up, bastard. Why did I even ask you..."

As the two continued forward, I looked at where they were going and saw that they were heading to a KBBQ. Not wanting to disturb their lunch, I then immediately teleported back to school.

Now at school, I morphed back to my original form and quickly swapped places with my body double.

I checked the time and realized that it was already time to leave school.

'Did I spend too much time in my other form?'

Then, before I could think of anything else, I saw Sung run to where I was. It looks like he was waiting for our mother to pick us up.

"Hey, hyeong. What are you going to do after we get back home?"

I turned my head to face Sung's face, looking around him and seeing that the other kids were being picked up.

"Read."

"Can I read with you?"

"If you're able to understand what I'm reading, you can read with me."

Sung's eyes were happy, probably because I didn't let him do anything with me. I need to at least do this so I can keep my neutral status with him until further notice.

With my little research of how South Korean schools work, my information WILL be wrong. But don't worry because the school chapters will end pretty soon.
