It's already late in the evening when Claude arrived at the Divine Justice camp. The camp is located outside the eastern gate of Edgalf. You can see lots of bonfires as if like fireflies in the night from afar. This proves that the camp had thousands of soldiers enlisted. At the center of the camp you can see a huge tent where the commander resides, specifically Tigreal.

Outside the perimeter of the camp you can see soldiers on duty, fully armed to the teeth. Since it is necessary to keep order within the camp itself because the forces of Dawn Zenith enlisted any race that is againt the Dark Abyss. The patrol of guards is composed

When the guards saw a person approaching with a monkey on his back they found it ridiculous that they wanted to laugh but then they remembered that there is a profession called beast tamer. They had assumed that this person came in here to offer entertainment services along with his pet.

If claude would know what the guards are thinking of him. He might as well shoot them down with his gun.

"This is the Divine Justice camp of the Mosennia Empire under the coalition of Dawn Zenith. How can we help you sir?" asked one of the guard politely. Even though they assumed positions higher than commoners they must be polite and be respectful to thise people who is willing to fight against the dark abyss.

"I wanted to enlist myself into the army, to fight against the lackeys of the dark abyss"

"You're lucky kid, since this is the last day of recruitment because we will depart tomorrow. Kiel, bring this young lad to the main tent for registration." shouted the patrol leader.

A boy came running after he's being called and led Claude into the main tent. The boy is so thin, with a pale face and traces of dark circles around his eyes. This reminded Claude of his life in the slums where he grew up. Everyday is a struggle out there, if not being lucky he might as well living a hard life as of now.

"Here we are mister, just go in by yourself, this is as far as I can take you" says the kid in a frail voice. Claude then fumbled a silver coin from his inner pocket then handed it to the boy. Such an amount is unimaginable for a kid who is 8 or 9 years old, that when he received such amout he became joyous then he darted off, afraid that this mister would take it back.

In front of him is a tent not too large compared to the one at the center. You can smell fragrances drifting out from the inside that is in contrast with the current situation of the camp.

When he entered the tent, the first thing he saw stunned him. A girl with long red hair in a lock. She had an eyepatch on her left eye, that instead of destroying her beauty, it give her confidence and power because this mark is a sign of her meritorious achievement in battle. She smiles like a rising sun from the horizon that anyone who see's it would feel warmth, but Claude didn't think so, since he knew very well how cruel this woman is.

It started when he stole a precious book from the Scholar city. An ancient book excavated by Harley in some ruins from an unknown age. After that event, he can't forget that woman who hunted him for the rest of his life.

When he's thinking of retreating, Lesly called him to have a seat with a smirked. Seeing that, he feels like he is in front of the devil smiling at him.

'I might as well confront this woman, such an unlucky day, of all people I don't wanna face in my life, it's here in front if me. If it's the providence's wish, so be it' thought Claude with a bitter smile and seated in front of Lesly.

"Look, you see, about that book I stole, I believe so your brother reclaimed it when Bruno caught me at Antoinere. Are you still that persistent in chasing me around? I know I'm famous, but you're the only girl who is into me completely as if you are my wife who want to catch me in my mischief"

"Really?, a crime is a crime, don't excuse yourself after what you've done. Since you are here like a sheep delivering yourself to me as the butcher, why would I spare you then? You might as well do something good to bail yourself out of your crime."

Hearing her words, He didn't expect that he still had a chance to survive this encounter with this devil lady. Claude is not a fool, at first he thought that it is just a ruse by this redheaded girl for him to fall into a trap, but then he remembered that the great war is coming so he concluded that the coalition forces of the Dawn Zenith needs his skills. With this in mind he became confident that in the near future, he would be free and untangled from this woman.

"Okay then, this would be just between us, what can I do for you to stop chasing me around from time to time, actually I'm tired running away"

Lesly caressed her gun, then points it at Claude before answering. "As you said, this is just between us, if you agree I won't chase you from then on. I'm also tired of this cat and mouse game" she paused for a while and stared at Claude straight into his eyes, Claude didn't move his eyes away since if he do so he believes that he will lose his cards in the negotiation. They stared at each other for almost 10 seconds before hearing her reply that makes Claude thought that the world is crashing down.

"Marry me"

Just a single statement from this woman made Claude's life like hell from then on in his own perspective.
