Tianjiao City

Alice and Samael arrived in a penthouse, the teleportation circle was connected to a Forte Family Inn and restaurant located in the flying city. The manager of the inn was there waiting to receive them.

"Young Master, Madam we have prepared the penthouse for your usage." he respectfully said.

The manager looked up at Samael and saw his weird get up, the young master had a white scarf/bandages wrapped around his head and he was wearing a Tengu mask over the scarf as well. The only reason he could confirm it was Samael is because he could see his amethyst eyes and Alice was travelling with him as well.

However the manager did not ask why he was wearing a mask, after working for a noble family for decades he's realised there are some things you don't ask.

Even though, Manager said nothing Sami still felt his curiosity, as he remembered that this stupid mask will be on his head for another six days he become more and more irritated. He stared daggers at the Alice and walked towards the kitchen.

He wanted to experience cooking in a restaurant again, he missed it so he is going to use this opportunity to work in the Inn.

When he reached the restaurant he flashed a token proving his identity, the Head Chef looked excited, he had been cooking here for years and every time he's see a Forte family cook he is shocked. As the way they cooking is spectacular and maybe this is his chance to breakthrough.

The Forte Family does not give Andhrmnir's Art to outsiders but a basic cooking technique and the Head Chef has been stuck for years.

Sami quickly put on a chef's outfit, the pure white contrasted with the creepy red of the Tengu mask.

He looked at the list orders and began prepping ingredients, the speed and precision of the way he sliced the vegetables was unreal, the chopping sound became rhythmic and a melody floated into the ears of the staff.

Dish after dish flew out from the kitchen, Sami's work rate was insane and each dish he made was cooked to a tee, he even improved some of the recipes on the fly. As Samael advanced through Andhrmnir's Art his thoughts on how to combine ingredients improved and his craft grew.

People who ate in the Inn spread their experience to people outside, rumours of a demon chef were being made and more and more people came to see. The hotel restaurant quickly filled up and as an added bonus customers found was Alice, after all who doesn't like to appreciate beauty.

A joyous atmosphere filled the Inn people were singing and happily devouring their food, it was a truly beautiful moment.

"Chef, we need one Wraith Boar Roast, ASAP."

"On it." Samael said, as he looked around he saw there was no prepared meat he had to butcher the whole boar himself."

Dragging the huge body to a big enough space, he brought out Gluttony and went to work. Using Chef's dance an elegant performance was put on, as a mortal all you would see is a twitch from Sami's arm and a whoosh sound then a piece of meat would fall off.

The carcass of the boar quickly shrunk under Sami's offense leaving perfectly cut cubes all the same size, the chefs watching him were shocked at his skill and precision. Their eyes were filled with admiration and shone with yearning to reach Samael's level.

Sami swiftly finished the dish. He was done for the day as he left to the kitchen and went to the dinning hall, at first people where shocked, you can't blame them though who wouldn't be surprised seeing chef wearing a Tengu mask. However they pieced it together, it was the demon chef.

Sounds of applause filled the hall, the customers were incredibly grateful they came to the Inn today or they might have missed this delectable food.

Alice walked up to Sami, "Hahaha well you should be happy I drew on your face or you wouldn't be wearing the Tengu Mask and get the awesome nickname of Demon Chef."

"Shut up, Demon Chef sounds cringe as fuck and I still hate you." Samael retorted.

He turned around and went back to their penthouse.

"Hey wait up," Alice run to catch up, "Samiiiiii!"

When they arrived back there, they got a better look of the luxurious room, it was decorated with many expensive and rare items and looked as big as a normal apartment. To really give it that edge, the penthouse had a glass ceiling allowing you to see the twinkling stars and the zodiac in the sky. Today was the 5th cycle meaning Leo was roaring in the night.

Alice jumped on the humongous mattress it looked to be double a king sized one, "Sooooooooooo comfortable."

Samael also jumped on the bed and turned to look at Alice, "Are you ready Alice, this is a bigger stage, we're gonna meet so many new face and make new friends."

"I'm going to let them taste my cooking and my rivals taste my fist" Sami continued, "How bout we break record for quickest breakthrough to Emperor realm in the history of the Academy."

"How about the History of the world." Alice said her eyes glinting with excitement.

"Ok" Sami laughed, "I'll race you there."

And after that the two friends fell asleep ready to leave their mark on Tianjiao Academy.

Info of the Day - Technology

There has always been some type of technology in this world for example the Mechanical Arcanists of the Old Era.

As time passed Technology improved all the way to phones, Tech in this world looks steam punky they are not as advanced in looks but they do have things earth doesn't such as mecha. The Mecha in this world is around 3 - 10 meters tall and clunky not like Ironman more like a hulkbuster.

However Mecha is pretty much exclusive to the Goblin Civilization as they relied on Technology to have a place in the world.

There is also ancient technology like teleportation circles or seer orbs which use a runes to work.

Runes are an element exclusive to Dwarves and Goblins and these two races used this to be much more advanced than Other Civilizations back in the day.

Runes are not as exclusive now as before as those two races have created the Rune Feather an item which allows anyone who can use aura to use the Rune element. This works by transforming the neutral aura inputted into Rune element when outputted. This only works with the rune element as you need Runes to make Runes, if that makes sense :0.
