Tianjiao Academy

Three weeks later....

Alice and Samael were strolling through a flower field having fun as usual.

"Morrigan."

As explained in the last chapter Alice has been crowned the name of Morrigan. Morrigan was originally an ancient female powerhouse who motivated warriors and helped them gain victory in war and battle. She was seem as a protector and guardian, however her enemies saw her as a goddess of death as she tore through all those obstructing her path. Sadly she died, the abyss ambushed her using 7 Dao level powerhouses and a Saint level being to kill her as the abyss did not want another Verus genius to rise.

On that day 7 abyss Dao realm beings were destroyed and a Saint was heavily injured, unfortunately in the process Morrigan died leaving nothing behind but her halberd.

Alice has been seen as a second generation Morrigan a cruel death god to her enemies and an inspiring leader to her subjects.

"Tobias" Alice coldly replied.

Tobias that originally haughty and arrogant boy, had become a robotic and subservient slave. She had always remembered what happened 11 years ago and it goes without saying she wanted revenge. Once she was strong enough to have a say in the Britannia, her bastard half-brother stood no chance.

The first thing she did was cut out his venomous tongue, preventing his words from harming her again (he now speaks through spiritual communication) and ruthlessly used a forbidden technique in the Death Empress Bloodline called Death's Grasp which allows you to control the victim's soul and inflict horrible amounts of pain onto them.

The catch is that the user also experiences the victim's pain. Alice who had been waiting for this day for years was completely unmoved by said 'catch' and for 33 days and nights she tortured the weasel into insanity.

She would have continued unless Samael stopped her, after all she also had to experience immense pain and Sami could no longer handle seeing her in such a state.

"My liege, the Tianjiao Academy is ready to recruit new students and they have invited both you and Master Samael to their school." Tobias humbly said.

"Alright you can leave now." Alice indifferently said.

She then turned around excitedly to Samael, "Let's enrol into the academy, it'll be fun."

"No it won't" Sami retorted, "Why would I go to school, when I have nothing to learn."

"Stop being boring, the real reason you don't want to go is because, you're too lazy"

"That may be true, but what do I actually have to learn."

"Ok you can go for the experience, you grinch." Alice angrily said

"I'm Samael and all I know is cooking and cultivating, I'm a boring old man in a young person's body yadayadayada." she mocked.

"I'm not going" Sami said holding up a middle finger to Alice.

Alice expression was twisted and annoyed, she seemed to be struggling through a tough decision, "Damn it, fine! I will allow you have to have two Nameday desires each year for 5yrs, is that a good enough deal."

When Alice said this her body seemed to go weak and her face was filled with despair.

"Your the one that said it so don't blame me," Sami began to manically laugh," I agree."

The duo had created a thing called Nameday desires, on every birthday they can ask for one request from the other. This is why Samael was wearing the stupid Apron on Alice's birthday and now Sami has two wishes per year.

"When do we leave?" Alice dejectedly asked still distraught at their agreement.

"After I reach tier 9, my bottleneck has loosened, all I need to do now is accumulate aura and I will breakthrough." he proudly said.

"What" Alice exclaimed in shock, even her, who is hailed as a heavenly genius has just reached tier 7 at 16. This is still amazing as the Tianjiao Academy's minimum requirements are to reach Tier 5 (I changed it.) at 17.

The Forte Family Household

Sami was sitting in meditative position and Alice was right by his side.

Remember Sami instinctively absorbs some aura all the time, this may not be much but after a while it accumulates. He began to actively run the Swallowing Heaven technique and aura was quickly drawn towards him.

The aura was refined instantly his physique greedily swallowing the lifeforce of heaven and earth it was as like a parched man finally getting a drink. Sami's strength began to rapidly rise, his ever-growing presence spread across the household.

The two main sequence stars in his dantian also absorbed aura, their sizes steadily expanding while their surfaces began to cool, they were slowly transforming into Red Supergiants however this would take a very long time or until Sami reached the Emperor realm.

As the stars where transforming in his body Sami had to employ the Collapsing Star technique.

Stars work by performing nuclear fusion and the massive amounts of energy released by it can expand the Star, in the real world gravity would act against this energy making the star stay the same size.

Red Supergiants are formed when the fuel needed for fusion begins to run out and as a last push they expand. In Sami's body there is no force acting as gravity and so the Collapsing Star technique allows him to refine his body increasing it's density and acts as gravity would in the real world.

(This is a very dumbed down explanation :0 )

Sami felt his body get denser, he could punch a tier 7 into oblivion with just his physical strength. ( I want to mention even if you cultivate normally, your body will get stronger as well however it will not be as exaggerated as Samael as he is using a body refining technique.)

The Collapsing Star worked by using (Neutral) aura to compact and temper Sami's cells allowing more mass to fit in the same space. This has also increased Sami's weight but due to his perfect control he can restrain his strength.

After a some time passed aura finally stopped converging onto Sami, restoring peace to the courtyard. Samael stood up as he felt his strength he had the illusion that he was invincible, this feeling of increasing your power will always be pleasurable.

"You broke through?" Alice asked.

"Of course" Sami said with a cocky grin on his face.

He began to stand in the air and looked condescendingly down on Alice. The atmosphere quickly grew tense like a wire about to snap, none of them were backing down, Alice resolutely standing her ground, looking up to Samael as if he was the enemy.

It looked like a scene ripped straight out of David and Goliath.

"Loser" Sami said breaking the tenseness as he flicked Alice's forehead and quickly ran into the distance.

Alice stood there flabbergasted shocked by what just happened, when she returned to their senses, she screamed, "Sami, come back here." the sound that came out of her mouth sounded like a screeching banshee.

The next day.

Alice and Sami were getting ready to leave, grabbing all the stuff they need and putting it into their space rings. The whole room was filled with awkwardness

"I'm sorry Samael, won't you forgive me." Alice pitifully said, breaking the silence.

Samael had oddly covered his whole face with a scarf not showing an inch of skin. After hearing what Alice said, his body began trembling, his fist were balled up and he was breathing heavily like an animal.

His whole person radiated an aura of danger. It seemed that if someone as much as touched him, he would explode

"Look at me Alice, Look at what you've fucking done." Sami roared as he tore off the scarf showing his face.

Alice sheepishly looked at his face, "Sorry" she mumbled.

Sami had graffiti all over his face he looked like an idiot. Yesterday Alice could not catch up with Samael as he was faster than her but once he fell asleep she used ink from an Emperor realm Shadow Squid, this ink cannot be removed by anyone below Emperor and will only come off after a week. It is used by the Squid in the wild to mark their prey but a lot of people use it as a prank item.

Putting a new scarf on his face and added a mask as well, paranoid that the scarf might fall off revealing his embarrassing state.

"Bye Mom and Dad" Sami shouted to the sky.

"Bye Auntie Victoria and Uncle William."

He and Alice walked towards the Forte Family's exclusive teleportation circle and teleported to the Tianjiao City.

The two figures in the sky looked at the duo and replied "Bye Kiddos."

Info of the day : Gods

'Gods' in this world are born from aura and automatically have an everlasting lifespan as long as Verus exists however they do not instantly have terrifying strength. They spread their names and religions and harvest faith from their believers, this faith energy is what they need to cultivate.

There is a god for each element except Aether. Believers worship 'gods' because gods can give out blessings, which can include anything from a simple treasure to a permanent increase in the affinity of the god's element.

They either reside in the Sanctus realm with purebred angels or The Malum realm with purebred devils.

The Malum realm and its inhabitants are not inherently evil but they do have a more chaotic and violent nature however you may find a peaceful devil or even a violent angel.
