Luck ex Machina

Alexi felt off when he saw that bastard's smug look so he wasted no time at all and went to see the spell. He impatiently gave the 10,001 Mid-tier Aura stones, his face distraught since he just gave away all of his money and no matter how good the technique is it is not worth 10,001 stones.

Looking at the technique in his hand, his body began to tremble, his hands were violently shaking about to let go of the scroll. His face distorted with anger, he had been tricked, remembering the mocking expression on the Tengu masked prick he realised he never wanted the spell but wanted him to spend more money.

The spell that could let you use outside metal aura before transcendence made you permanently use up your affinity with the metal element to use it, no sane person would ever execute this technique, so he just wasted 10,001 Mid-tier stones.

He was furious, Alexi was already a hot-headed guy and the anger from all of the things Sami had done to him had reached the boiling point. He simply stopped thinking rushed back into the main hall and leaped towards Sami.

Sami already expecting this and simply shot a ray of death aura towards Alexi turning him to a corpse.

'What a fool, did he truly think I would spare him if we fought again, what a fool. ' Sam thought disgusted at the half-titan's arrogance.

The bidders in the auction house were shocked after all it's not often you see two people dare to fight in the territory of the Midas Pavilion.

Samael saw the guards of the auction house begin to move toward him so he quickly flashed his token identifying himself as part of the Forte Family.

"That guy was an enemy to my family, he deserved to die." Sami spoke some bullshit.

The audience and guards realised this is not something they can deal with so calm was restored. Samael began to remember.

When the Technique came on stage he felt the book was useless to him, it was an instinctive feeling that if he bought the skill he would regret it, maybe this was his plot armour bloodline working and he decided to trust it.

He grabbed the space ring off of Alexi's lifeless body, destroyed the spiritual lock and checked it's contents. There were a bunch of useless items but there were two things that caught Samael's eye the spell from the auction and a small orb. The orb seemed to hold the galaxy in it, stars explode and reformed and comets burned across space, it was mesmerising.

Samael felt a throbbing from his bracelet, Gluttony was yearning for the orb, 'What the fuck is my bloodline, I though I would need years to find an Aether type material but I got it a few weeks later. This is some Deus ex Machina shit.'

He put the orb in his ring he would let his sword absorb it after the auction, he grabbed the spell and looked at the method to use it, 'Once again wtf, how does this shit even work how can luck tell me if something is bad or not, my bloodline is way more broken than I thought, I need to find a way to increase my concentration maybe I could evolve it into something more Op.'

'However my family has probably tried to do so but never succeeded I will have to find at least a Heavenly level herb to upgrade so that's gonna take a while.' Fuck Deus ex Machina, this is Luck ex Machina.'

Time passed and more and more interesting things appeared in the auction from a Immortal realm whip??? to a fucking dragon egg which is the most surprising item because dragons are a very powerful race and there are even dragon's working in the Midas Pavilion. He would have bid on the egg but Alice stopped him as she knew he would try to cook it.

The final item was a set of cracked and broken Mala beads and a half-destroyed Tetsubō , they both had a worn out red colouring and even though they were broken they heated up the air in the surroundings. The black studs on the Tetsubō looked devilish and violent but at the same time radiated with protection. The Mala beads had golden Sanskrit inscriptions on them that gave off an aura of holiness and light.

* A Tetsubō is basically a huge steel bat with studs or spikes on it.

Many people realised that this was a item was a true treasure and began readying their bids. Lucile came up to the stage and introduced the object, the treasure after being broken fell to an Emperor level artefact an it was found in an ancient battlefield and no one could touch it without getting burnt even Immortal level powerhouses could, so they decided to sell it.

"The starting bid is 15,000 Mid tier stones and a minimum increase of 50 mid tier stones are needed per bid."

As soon as her voice stopped the price began increasing rapidly 15,000, 16,000, 17,000 all the way to 20,000.

"50,000 Mid tier stones." Samael finally placed a bid he was very intrigued by this last item it felt like it was much stronger than Emperor at it's peak, it could've been a tribulation at it's best.

The auction house went silent, after all no one wanted to offend the Forte Family and seeing what happened to Alexi has traumatised them, a lot of the audience glanced at Alexi's corpse and gulped.

"100,000 Aura Stones" a calming male voice sounded from another VIP box.

The curtains of VIP box was pulled and a beautiful man stepped out, he looked around 1.75 metres tall and had jade like skin. Every movement he made felt like a gentle spring breeze calming the bidders. He had a buzzcut, thin lips and a narrow nose he was wearing white and red Buddhist clothes (Kasaya) his long eyelashes and almond eyes added to his beauty.

However his deep red eyes seemed to glow with endless rage and fire. Everyone that looked into them felt fear, terrifying fear.

Info of the day - Bloodline/ Physiques

Almost everyone living today has a bloodline due to the fact they are descendants of ancient races , for example the ancient human bloodline is the basic bloodline of a human being and every human will at least have that if they don't a special bloodline.

Other stronger bloodlines are passed down through families, there is no need for intermarriage or incest due to treasures that can improve bloodline concentration. Bloodlines can mutate when combined with another and they can also evolve when the owner takes a treasure, the stronger the bloodline the harder is to combine with another or evolve.

Some bloodline combinations or evolution may not be useful or helpful and could even be negative.

Not everybody has a physique as they randomly appear when a child is born. New physiques appear all the time as the heavens are infinite and physiques are bestowed by the heavens.

Not all physiques are beneficial for example the Cracked pool body makes you lose the aura you absorb constantly making it almost impossible to cultivate.
