She punched the notification and read it out loud. "John Billion the teenage young star, is going to be holding a concert by May this year and all his fans are invited. Yes!" she shouted. "I must call Shelly," she said and called her. It was around 5 am.

"What is it Rita, shouldn't you be getting ready for school, why are you calling me this early morning, it's 5 am for goodness sake. Shelly said. " I'm so excited this morning, guess what" she shouted. "You know I'm not good at guessing, so go straight to the point," she said.

"It's John Billion," she said. "Isn't he the popular teenage music artist you always talk about? What about him this morning?" Shelly said. "Okay by May, he would be holding a concert for all his fans" she screamed.

"Calm down girl, I know you have a crush on him but don't kill yourself. As for me, I think he doesn't even know if you exist. So stop killing yourself for him. Why are you even this excited, the concert is still very far. I mean it's third term for God's sake Rita, third term" she said.

"Was that supposed to be a word of encouragement, as my friend you should be happy for me? May is like tomorrow for me" she said.

"Okay, but I don't even see what you guys see in him. Go get ready before you go late to school, because of John Billion" she said mimicking her voice. "We'll talk about it in school," she said and ended the call.

Rita got dressed and went to school early, after the morning assembly everyone went to class and you could hear everyone talking about John Billion.

Rita went to meet Shelly in her seat. "I can't believe everyone saw the notification," Rita said. "That is why he is popular, was it supposed to be a secret," Shelly said. "You know that's not what I meant" Rita answered.

"Em, good luck, I'm not interested in anything about him, the last time you told me to search him out, guess what! I did not, I lied I don't want to even know him" Shelly said. "What! you lied to me" Rita said. "I had to," she said.

"That's your business, you are going to learn his trending song, closest to my heart," she said. " I told you I don't want to have anything to do with him and you are telling me to learn his song! you must be dreaming," Shelly said.

" See it is by force, not by choice, whether you like it or not you are going to learn it and that's final," Rita said hitting the desk and going to the front of the class and drawing everyone's attention.

"I guess you guys know what's trending," she asked and everyone chorused, "John Billion". " Wait oh, no one knows his actual age," Sarah said. "That's true, but it was rumored that he is between the age of 14 and 17," Rita said.

They continued discussing about him and a boy said, "I don't even know what you girls see in this so-called John Billion. He can't even sing, I don't see any talent in him". All the girls fired back that he was just jealous and the boys seeing the girl's reaction decided to shut up.

" He's quite talented," John said turning to Shelly. "Didn't you hear me when I said I'm not interested in anyone called John Billion, were you deaf?" Shelly said and John hissed.

Rita started singing his trending song and everyone picked it up and started singing. Shelly looked at the time and the first period was almost over, she was surprised no teacher had entered their class.

She was tired of everyone singing, then she left the class. They continued singing and John left the class to look for Shelly so that they could find out why they had not been taught.

When he left, the class increased their voice as they sang not knowing when Mr. Francis entered the class. He stood there looking at them, without them noticing, then he shouted for them to stop.

Everyone rearranged as they heard his voice. "When has this class suddenly turned into a concert, where is the class prefect" he shouted, no one answered him and he shouted at them if they were deaf.

Someone spoke up and told him that he left the class. He asked all of them to kneel. "If the perfect comes tell him or her to see me in the staff room," he said and left the class.

Shelly was in the school garden sniffing her favorite flower, she was so concentrated that she didn't notice the presence of John. He stood there for a while watching her, he went close to where she was and touched her on her back.

She jumped up "You startled me," she said. "Sorry about that" he answered. "Why are you here, why do you keep following me around," she asked. He looked at her and their eyes locked before Shelly removed her eyes.

"It's all coming back again," he thought within himself. "I came to tell you that we should go and find out why we had not received our first lesson for today and probably control the class," he said. "Oh, I see. Just give me a few moments" she answered.

"I'm feeling uncomfortable after knowing that you....you....." Shelly said thinking but realizing she said it out. "What did you say," he asked. "Nothing, I wanted to say it feels uncomfortable here when you know, I mean we know we have a class to control," she said and he was relieved. "let's go then," he said.

They went to the staffroom and saw that their subject teacher had just arrived and he told them he was coming saying they should go back to class. They went to class and found everyone kneeling.

"What is going on here, why are you guys kneeling? Who told you to kneel?" he asked. "Which question do you want us to answer first" someone snouted.

"It's the girls, they were the ones that caused all of these. They were singing and Mr. Francis caught them and told all of us to kneel" Andrew said. "John Billion, John Billion, you guys got what you deserve," Shelly said. "John, Mr. Francis says you should meet him in the staff room anytime you come," Rita said.

John looked at them and left the class, while Shelly sat down. He went to the staff room and Mr. Francis asked him why there was no teacher in their class and where was he when his class turned the school into a concert.

He told him that he went to inquire why their subject teacher had not come, after the explanation he was allowed to go. He got to class and told everyone to stand up and that they should be more careful next time.

When they had a free period that day, Rita forced Shelly to learn the song "closest to my heart" by John Billion, she was forced to learn the song.

When it was the second period after break, Shelly went to meet John and told him that some of the students were not in class and that she has been searching for them since the first period. John looked around and saw that it was true, he decided to help her look for them.

They searched the entire school but they were nowhere to be found. They thought of telling the principal but they remembered that they had not checked back of the library. They made up their mind that if they don't see them there, they would report to the principal.

They went there, "what are you doing here, we have been looking for you guys all over," John said. Shelly looked at them and said, "what! what is the meaning of this nonsense".
