Chapter 2

Anna

When I wake up I'm laying on a beach again and I look over at Max. "When will you wake up".  I look at Bre and run my hands through her hair trying not to wake her up.

"Anna." Max croaks out

I rush over and hugs him"Your alive I was worried you wouldn't make it" I say though tears

"Ow that hurts please stop"He says as he  coughs as I lay him down on the sand. "What the hell just happened."

"We escaped from that place" I say still crying but calming down

"Oh" He coughs "I'm in so much pain and is Bre ok?" Max asks"I feel like I was used for a punching bag it hurts when I move no matter how small"

" ya she's fine she woke up a couple years ago " I reply trying not to laugh

"What! I've been asleep for a few years" Max replies surprised

I start laughing "No she woke up yesterday, you've been asleep for 3 days"

"Oh dammit Anna you scared me" Max says "can you pull me over to the fire please"

"It will hurt a lot." I reply

"I know but I'm getting cold" He replies and then he closes his eyes and shivers from the cold"please"

    I press my hands up against his forehead and take away some of the pain before I grab the collar of his shirt. I slowly drag him over to the fire trying not to hurt him. As I drag him he groans in pain. When we reach the fire I prop him up against a log so that he's sitting up.When he's finally sitting up straight I start to pour all my energy into healing him. After I finish pouring all my energy into healing him I lay back and stare at the sky.I roll over onto my side and look at Bre. As I look at Bre I hear a crunching sound from behind me. "Damn I'm outta energy I won't be able to put a camo screen" 

"Anna!" someone yells "It's Jake, Alex is waiting for us at the truck"

I breathe out a breath in relief. I try to yell I'm here but I can't seem to find the words. It's like they just left my body.

"Max!" Jake yells "Anna!"

As Jake yells I hear an ungodly roar and then a scream Then everything goes silent. I stand and look around when a breeze tugs at my clothes. A black figure rushes right past me and grabs Max then runs off.
